  1. I was just asking. ::shies away in fear::
  2. I know Im a few years late but I tried the link and it's dead now Is anyone kicking around the tape images by any chance?
  3. I figured some one copied some one else here but I had a different take on it. I figured Tykables got wind of what ABU was doing and rushed a similar product to market in an effort to corner it. Their product just seems hasty to me. Sloppy even. The art doesn't seem as well done on the landing zone, and the color scheme... What is that? Pumpkin Orange? Peach? Mustard yellow? Ew. Just my two cents. Was interesting to read other points of view. I think I'd still get ABU over Tykables based solely off the pics we've been given of what they may look like (not necessarily what the final product may look like, I know). The ABU diaper however looks like a legit baby diaper from modern times. Most authentic I've seen so far besides maybe the bear hugs diapers.
  4. I realize my post seemed a bit negative. For what it's worth it seems like a good diaper.
  5. I should've got a sample before trying these. I'm a 38 inch waist so I got the medium because the site says they fit 28-44 inch waists. Felt like I was trying to force myself into a baby diaper. Knew I should've tried the large xD I need to hit the gym I guess lol. The thing is, they say these fit up to 44 inch waist? There's just no way.
  6. Everyone thank you so much for your replies!!! Haven't been able to log on to the forums much since I started the thread
  7. So I love applying diaper tapes, but lately I have been using full page clear adhesive shipping labels. I started using them instead of paper and tape for a couple reasons. 1 ) The clear label allows me to use the natural color of the diaper as the background rather than the solid white of plain paper which is actually a different shade than most white diapers. 2 ) The tape I was using, combined with the paper itself created a very thick band at the top and would dig into my lower abdomen lol. Only, the labels have their own disadvantages namely, the cost and the texture. The labels are like 15 dollars for 10 or something like that and the texture doesn't feel right against my stomach when I'm bending over. I'd like to go back to tape and paper for these two reasons. My question (after my life story lol, sorry about that) is this: Does anyone know where to get really thin packing tape? I realized the other day that the tape I was using was really thick compared to what we used at work (I work in a warehouse) and might have been contributing to the discomfort described above. The stuff at work is SUPER thin and would make awesome diaper tape...tape. I don't know the brand though, it just comes in in unmarked boxes. I checked the usual places: Walmart, Office Depot, Staples, Target... Only tape I could find was super heavy duty.
  8. I'm fully aware that they were before the application of SAP as well as many other things. Thats what I love about them
  9. So thats what happened... I noticed that my shipments stopped being packaged discretely. It isn't too bad because I use the attends with waistband and its not like the word "diapers" is printed on the case in huge letters or anything. You can find the name attends though, in small print, if you know where to look. As a few others have posted I also noticed they stopped selling samples. I hope they don't go under. I LOVE the attends with waistband. 2-3 of these at once and its the closest thing to 80s diapers that I've been able to find.
  10. Seriously about to cry seeing those. I want mid 80s diapers so bad. I was born in 83 so I can remember what it was like. The "diapers" these days just don't feel the same. I wonder what became of the machine that was used to make those 85 attends and how much it would cost to buy/operate it.
  11. Or you could make an actual diaper. Like the ones from the 80s with incredibly thick padding that goes all the way up the front and back, and all the way out the sides into the wings. You'd be the only company with a diaper like that for sure. Every company these days is focused on super absorbancy. You could focus on super thickness with the ability to take 1 or 2 wettings instead of a billion. A diaper thats a diaper. Not just a discrete incontinence brief with prints. Thats your selling point.
  12. I wish one of the ABDL companies would make a diaper like the one in the video. Probably would be super expensive to manufacture if they went with the trend of making a super-duper-alpha-absorbancy diaper that can hold 1million gallons of wettings. Have you seen the video of ABU's new diaper coming out in like a month? Lol the vid shows a simulated... 10 wettings? 10 freakin wettings. If they just made it fluffy using pulp like the old days instead of using SAP I think it would be cheaper. Then they could make them way thicker. Sure, they might not hold 10 wettings but they'd hold one or two. Think about it. When's the last time you heard an AB or DL say they DIDN"T want thick diapers? Maybe during stealth situations, sure, but if they had their choice? Think most of the community would opt for thicker diapers. If I had the money and the know how I'd start that business in a heartbeat. I think there is a real market for super thick, rather than super absorbent diapers. Among abdl's that is.
  13. I checked those out on their site. I want to try them out!!! They look pretty nice. Out of my size though Gonna have to wait until they restock. Hopefully won't be too long.
  14. I haven't tried their newer stuff. Only their SDK v2 and their old cushies and SDK. Maybe I'm too picky but as an 80s baby I'm just not a fan of all around print diapers. xD I guess I should give them a chance though.
