  1. I bet that is it. I sometimes by depends there. Thanks.
  2. I usually don't save the packaging. I keep my diapers in a box and it is easier to fit more of them in if they aren't in the original package.
  3. When I buy new diapers, I usually take pictures and log some details about them. But for some reason, I didn't do this for this diaper. I have attached pictures, but here is a description as well. It is a cloth-like diaper with three wetness indicator stripes on it (kind of a greenish, brownish orange - sorry I am a bit color blind). Inside, the center of the diaper is blue, the rest of it is white. The tapes have a blue diamond pattern. Can you name that diaper? Thanks.
  4. I used to be the same way. If I ever got away from home I would buy a pack a baby diapers and use a few and throw the rest away because I never wanted to get caught with them. (As I am now older, I wished that I at least donated the unused diapers.) Anyways, others have mentioned the trash bags and towels. If they mean paper towels, that is what I used. I would start with a trash bag cut into an hourglass shape (like a diaper). I would tape the first paper towel of a roll to the diaper and while the paper towels are still connected, I would unroll it back and forth over the diaper until I had about 10 layers of paper towels. Each layer would be taped to the previous layer at what would be the waistline of the diaper (this would help them not rip at the perforations). I would then cut the excess paper towels to match the hourglass shape. I would tape this on myself. I would not recommend using this diaper, but I would pour water down it to simulate pee. I hope this description makes sense and helps.
  5. Honestly, it is a peeve of mine as well. I always run my posts through Word to ensure that I don't have any errors. I was in the process of upgrading stuff on the computer, so perhaps the spell checker wasn't work at that time.
  6. I corrected the misspelling. I find it very annoying when I see misspelled words.
  7. I was curious about this and became more curious after reading a thread about non-24/7 people wearing diapers for long stretches of time when they could. After I have an orgasm, either from being in a diaper or any other way, I no longer have an interest in diapers. In fact I might plan to be in a diaper all day and things get carried away and I will just take it off. A few hours later I might put one back on again. Anyone else have a similar reaction?
  8. When I first purchased diapers, I would only purchase baby diapers. I would tape three of them together (overlapping) to make them long enough and use tape to extend the diaper tapes. This was fine for me in the early stages. I "had" to switch to adult diapers when I could no longer find baby diapers with the plastic backing. The first times I bought adult diapers in stores, I went to stores that were 20+ miles away from not only my home but homes of friends and family. Anytime I went somewhere far away I would take the opportunity to buy diapers. Now, if I buy in the store, I go to stores with self-checkouts and they don't have to be miles away from home. If I run into anyone that I know, I would just lie that they were not for me. I am certain that I would be embarassed, but I think that is normal for anyone that needs to buy them wether they are using them for themselves or not.
  9. I don't know the best way to break it to your wife, but I think that you should tell her as soon as possible. I remember reading a few posts on how to break it to people, so you might be able to find those posts. I just sat my wife, then girlfriend, down and told her. One post that I read said to weave it into a conversation. If the subject of diapers or men needing to be babied comes up, tell her then. Good luck.

Welcome to DD. When I lived with my parents, I just to buy baby diapers and triple them up. The ones I bought at the time were folded in half (not pull-ups). I would open all the diapers, but not the diaper tape portion. Using some packing tape, I would tape two of the diapers together so that they overlapped by half a diaper. I would repeat this with a third diaper. This would make a sandwich of diapers with two layers in the front, three layers in the middle and one layer in back: --------------- --------------- --------------- I would then unfold the tape section of the two ends in the front and one in the back. I would use more packing tape to extend the tapes around me. I used paper towels on the portion of the packing tape that would be against my skin. You will need to poke holes in portions of the diapers to let liquid flow from one layer to another. With some practice you will get the proper positioning down. I hope this helps.
  11. I used to have a job that allowed me to leave for work later than my wife did. I would exercise in the morning to Dance Dance Revolution. One day she left while I was playing. I paused the game, got into a diaper and continued to play. Of course, she forgot something and came back. When she opened the door, there I was dancing in a diaper and nothing else. She knew I liked to wear diapers but I think that was the first time she really saw me in one. Not too compromising, just a little embarrassing.
  12. She doesn't remember being punished by being diapered. And surprisingly, she does have a lot of memories from when she was very young. I will sit down with her and see if we can work it out together.
  13. I don't know that disgust is the correct word, but she is definitely against them. She just feels that unless someone needs them for medical reasons, they don't belong on an adult. So, yes she does hate the them to that extent. Also, it was a weird reaction for her; she was kind of surprised at the response herself.
  14. I hate for my first post, aside from introducing myself, to be so serious, but here it is. My wife has pretty much avoided my DL side. About four years ago she put on a diaper and wore it to bed. The only reaction that I got was that she wouldn't do that again. Over time she has asked me questions about it and seemed to be a little more open to it. Last week she said she would try it again. She diapered me (she has only diapered me one other time). And for her, this time, I got to diaper her. I didn't want to push things so I figured she would just have a dry diaper on during dinner (at home). If she was open to it, after dinner I would have added some warm water to her diaper to ease her into things. During dinner, she said that she just felt like crying while I was putting on her diaper. Has anyone had this reaction? I told her she could take it off right then, but she wore it during the entire meal. She has suspected, in the past, that she was molested when she was young. Could this have brought on a suppressed memory? She was seeing a therapist for awhile but nothing came out of that. I think the experiences of this group might help to bring some insight. I would obviously like try this again with my wife, but definitely not if it makes her sad. I would never want to upset her like that. Anyone have any thoughts or similar experiences? Jeff
