  1. Thanks for the tip, Duck! After more scouring, I actually managed to find this pattern. I just wanted to post back here for anyone else who wanted custom trainers like I do.
  2. I've been doing a lot of searching and I considered making my own trainers using underwear as a base, but I feel like they won't have that professional look to them as I don't have serger access.
  3. I WATCHED THAT! Or most of it...oh god...pity the director. Any shot he had as a future film maker pretty much bit the pavement...and hard.
  4. I have a Lamb Chop stuffie as well as my baby blanket from my childhood, but my Lamb Chop is not the original one that was given to me. In fact, I lost my original one at the mall when I was just over a year and a half and screamed about it for hours until I made myself tired. My grandma proceeded to go out and buy a brand new one, but not only did she buy it--she beat the poor thing until it was worn down in all the right places. She drove around the neighborhood with him tied to the driver's side mirror, frayed his tag until it was as frayed as the other one and picked the fuzz out in the right places. No one told me this until I was 15 and I was still a little heartbroken, but also floored by the awesome grandma who did all of that just for me. Chop-Chop as had the majority of his fuzz picked from his legs, arms and the back of his head. He's dirty, kinda smelly and hasn't been washed since I was twelve, but he has been everywhere with me. To my dorm, to my frequent trips to Pennsylvania, and even here to my new house. Same with Blankie. The fabric of my blanket has been SEVERELY degraded from the years of being dragged everywhere. Original Chop-Chop looked like this. And I would wear him on my foot like a slipper. Like this:
  5. I'm 22 and I've never been nor do I ever intend to be drunk? Sorry that was lame... I guess according to my roommates the most interesting thing about myself is that I come off as being very "straight laced" and no b.s. but I have a couple sex toys in my underwear drawer.
  6. Can you tell me if they're all pretty much the same size or do some run a little larger? Judging by my measurements, I'm right on the edge of a medium (43 inches) and I'm just wondering if they have one that seems to be slightly larger than the other. It's my first time ordering in like...two years.
  7. You could try locking panties and the marshmallow trick. Freeze the key in a jar full of water. Then you can't have it back until the ice melts.
  8. For the time being all I can offer is the methods Etsy allows me to use. Right now all I have is Paypal, but I can certainly look into adding credit card options such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover, if you need me to.
  9. I'm a crocheter and I have a lot of yarn to use up. At this time, I'm willing to take up to five commission projects. Here's what I can offer you and the prices for each: Set of 3 finger puppets (animals of your choice): $10 1 Hand Puppet: $20 Animal Plushies (small, 6 inches in height): $10 Animal Plushies (large, 12 inches tall): $15 Monster Plushies (small, 6 inches in height): $10 Monster Plushies (large, 12 inches tall): $15 Booties (any size): $45 Restraining Mittens (any size): $45 Animal Hats (hats with ears and optional faces): $35 If you have something else in mind or want to see some of my work or the patterns I'll be using, feel free to send me a PM. I have an etsy shop and I can put an item there for you to purchase if you're interested. First five posts (or PMs) get the commissions. More may be offerred after the first five commissions are completed. Edit: At this time I cannot accept commissions for blankets or sweaters. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  10. Just curious XD I'm interested in gaining a few like-minded friends.
  11. They have skinny containers that will roll nicely under your bed. Not sure where you're at, but Ikea has a few that are opaque: This one: http://www.ikea.com/...ducts/90027811/ And this one: http://www.ikea.com/...ducts/10215788/ And this one: http://www.ikea.com/...ducts/30163260/ All of which should hide your stuff nicely. If you have a full-sized bed I'd definitely go with the first one. It's got the two sides on top open for easy access either way.
  12. Alright, well...little Bee's birthday is coming up soon and she's thinking of ordering some Bambinos. So, because she wants to spend her money wisely, can the little girls answer these ones? 1.) How is the fit? Do they run big? Do they run small? I have about a 46 inch waist and I'm trying to figure out what size I should go with...Naturally, this would be a large, but if I can escape with buying a pack of mediums, it'd be a little nice. 2.) Quality of padding? After much extensive research, they seem to be made with the male figure in mind and not so much the female's. How well would you guys say they do for little girls? 3.) Ever had any problems with orders? It seems like a real rarity to have any issues, but I just wondered if that natural fluke comes along where the diaper is a little thin, or service gets delayed? Like I said, I know it's pretty rare for them to have problems, but I just wondered. Thank you in advance! And once more, boys need not answer.
  13. Same here. Everything worked out flawlessly for me.
  14. I'm stage-managing a show and then going out to applebee's afterward.
