  1. I have been wearing a diaper to bed every night for the past 10 or so years. A couple of years ago I made the switch to cloth and found I almost always wake up wet and very refreshed. Because of occassional leaks with the disposables, I don't think I slept as soundly for fear of actually wetting the bed. I can't remember ever leaking when wearing cloth.
  2. I just woke up, so I am still in my wet cloth diaper rubber pants and onsie.
  3. Sounds like you handled a touchy subject in a very good manner. Even though my wife is very supportive, she does not really understand why I enjoy wearing and using my diapers. She just accepts it as a part of who and what I am. Ricky
  4. Unless you are wearing a big bulky cloth diaper and rubber pants, no one will know unless you want them to know. I wear a disposable everyday to work or where ever I go. With the new cloth like outer layer, they make very little noise. Of course, if I have not planned well and over wet to the point of leaking, that can be a problem. But, if you act normal and not bring attention to yourself, no one will pay attention. Get out there and enjoy yourself! Ricky
  5. No. I just wanted to get the @#%* out of there!
  6. On warm days around the house I will just be in a t-shirt and cloth diaper. On hot days I will trade the cloth diaper and rubber pants for a disposable, just have to be extra careful about leaking on the furniture
  7. I just woke up a little while ago and have not had my morning change yet. So, I am weaing a wet and poopy disposable, terry lined rubber paints, and a blue onsie. Ricky
  8. Aaron: Like anything, the more you did it, the easier it gets. When I first starting wearing diapers to work, I was scared to death my co-workers would catch on, even thought it was a necessity. After a while I didn't even think about any more. If anyone has "caught on" they have certainly kept it to themselves. RELAX and enjoy yourself! Ricky
  9. You said part of her dislike is the crinkle sound. I wear disposables during the day and have found the cloth-like outer lining does NOT crinkle. The feel the same against your skin and the bulk between your legs. I don't know where you live, but I get the CVS brand of overnight diapers. Plus, if you do actually pee in them, they are very absorbant. Ricky
  10. Nothing like the real thing for me! I have had to wear diapers for many years due to urinary incont., and just recently discovered I actually enjoy pooping my pants. I woke up one morning after having a large and late dinner the night before not just wet as I usually am, but also poopy. This was a new thing and I liked it. Usually, I go and change myself before heading down for breakfast, that morning I waited. My wife noticed I was still in my night-time onsie and asked if I was okay. I told her what had happened and she offered to change me. I said I wasn't ready, yet. It was several hours before I agreed to a change and shower. Ever since, when I opportunity presents itself away from work, I will just poop.
  11. There is nothing better than a nice cloth diaper just out of the drier, all warm on the exposed areas after being clean-up for bed time! I wear cloth diapers at home because I like them better, and especially at night because the do hold more. I wear disposables during the day, which have been known to leak once in a while. To stop this I have started to wear terry cloth lined plastic pants over the disposable. In the two years I have done this any leaks have been contained and my outer wear is absolutly protected. Ricky
  12. Ihave to agree with the others...don't do it just to embarrse the nurses. That just makes it harder for people like me that HAVE to wear diapers to the doctor's office more aukward. For example, I just moved to a new area and needed my perscriptions filled. I made an appointment and told them about my incont. Apparently it did not make it to the chart. When the nurse told me to strip to my undies and wait for the doctor I did. She came back in just before the doctor, saw me in my now wet diaper, and exclaimed, "I've heard about your kind, but have never seen one!" Of course, that was unprofessional on her part, but I suprised her. When the doctor arrived, he made a double take, but didn't say anything about it and asked what I needed. When I was able to explain my situation and the meds I needed filled, the nurse fell all over herself apologizing to me. Ricky
  13. Hi: My name is Ricky. I have been wearing diapers 24/7 for many years out of necessity, but recently discovered the DL community and with the support of my wife, have begun to have some fun with my needs. Ricky
