  1. Salvage shops are also a good option to find cheap (and older, aka plastic-backed) disposables. That said, since you're desiring it and you're planning ahead, cloth would be the best option from a price standpoint - you can spread the hit across a few paydays to blunt the initial cost a bit. Laundering facilities of your own are helpful, but an opaque bag and a quiet laundromat are not the worst options if push comes to shove.
  2. We had totality here, so the fiancee/Mommy and I didn't need to travel. It was definitely a profound experience, and enjoying it from the driveway out front was a plus.
  3. In most cases, I'd go with the "Sent to wrong address" angle, but you've got a ready-made reason with the back issues. If your mom gets nosy, explain about the back. It can seriously be a hassle to try to move fast in the middle of the night with back issues, especially depending on how far away the toilet is. But if she doesn't bring it up, there's really no need for you to. Just get the address fixed, complain about the lack of discrete packaging, and go on with your life.
  4. No, the cheap ones aren't worth it at all - but the up-front cost of cloth or even high-end disposables can be way too much when you're on disability or some other smaller fixed income. As much as I'd love to get a case that'll last me a couple months or kit myself out in decent-quality cloth, all I usually have on hand is enough to get the "cheap" ones at the drugstore down the street.
  5. About a week and a half ago, I was wearing and already heading to the bathroom to shower and change into a fresh one
  6. I'm pretty much comfortable wearing while out and about anywhere these days. If I want or need to wear, I just do. And if someone else notices, and they have a problem with it, then they're the only ones who do. Not like I try to show them off in public or anything, but sometimes shit happens.
  7. I'm more of a fan of older consoles, and don't have anything newer than a Wii. (It makes a great little emulation box.) I also play a lot of Dungeons and Dragons
  8. I'm actually engaged to my caregiver, though the relationship came before the CG/L aspect was introduced. Platonic works for me also though, and I don't care about my caregiver's gender. We're also in a poly relationship, so the potential for having little "siblings" and/or a Daddy/another Mommy
  9. Long as they're in the shade, the diapers should be fine - though I'd worry about poorly-made plastic-backed ones. Powders should be okay. Liquids, though, they'll be fine if you're leaving them in the car while you go shop for an hour or so, but I wouldn't leave them in there permanently.
  10. If I'm already wearing one, it's not too wet already, and I need to go out and about, I'll keep wearing the diaper. No one notices, and if they do, they don't care.
  11. Out of all I've tried so far, DC Amors are my favorite.
  12. Had to have happened en route. I've used XP Medical plenty before, and the packages I've gotten have been in good condition.
  13. I only tend to wear boosters while I'm sleeping, since if I do start having control issues, I'll completely saturate even the most absorbent nighttime diapers and then some.
  14. I've never had anyone notice the diaper waddle before. Then again, many of the people who would notice it also know I have a very bad knee. The pain and weakness comes and goes, so it's not unusual at all for me to walk perfectly normal one day, and be slowed to a crawl the next.
  15. Only a few people I really trust know. I'm not that open about it. I'm marginalized enough.
  16. Long roadtrips for me, especially through red states. If I've been driving for 4-6 hours straight between gas stops, I'm probably in no mood to put up with the bigotry of someone in some off-the-beaten-path hole in the wall who thinks they're more important than they actually are in the grand scheme of things. No, I just want to fill the tank, maybe get a bite to eat or refill my drink, and get going again.
  17. Growing up, we didn't have cable as an option where I was living, and my parents didn't want a cumbersome satellite dish in the yard. My cartoon options were limited to the Saturday morning stuff on the broadcast networks, and the syndicated cartoons the two independent stations would show on weekdays. Later on, when we finally did get cable, it was mostly Cartoon Network, or occasionally TBS/TNT when they'd still show some cartoons. Keep in mind that this was when Cartoon Network was still new and hadn't quite found its footing. Very rarely, I'd watch Nick for their original stuff, or catch Inspector Gadget reruns on the old Family Channel. Disney wasn't an option because they were still a premium channel at the time.
  18. Only when my bladder issues get so bad that I'm running to the bathroom every hour or less.
  19. Lost pretty much all of my childhood stuff between an overbearing father trying to force me to grow up too fast, moving around a lot, and a hurricane. I recently got back the video game consoles I had as a kid, but I've mostly gotten newer stuff to fill the rest of the void.
  20. No doubt, they definitely increase the feelings of femininity for me, especially on really bad dysphoric days.
  21. Been wanting to play, but can't. It won't run on my phone.
