It's great seeing all the theories of r what is going to happen next in this story. Some of you have guess right, and others have thought about things that I didn't even consider, which is great! I could have taken this story in several directions, but I think at least most of you will be satisfied with where it goes from here. Right now, we're almost halfway through the story, so stay tunned for more parts either tomorrow or on Tuesday. I hope everyone enjoys this next chapter! Chapter 11: Give Me Needles or Just Something! The next morning, after a quick bath and change from Addy, Patrick made his way downstairs in his wheelchair and ate a nice helping of breakfast around the table. He was the first one up today and only met Ian on the way out. Ian wished him a sincere, if not sleepy, good luck, but the two then parted and Patrick made his way back to Bruce’s therapy room. Oddly, he could hear a slew of curses and banging around from inside. “Hello? Bruce? You okay in there?” The banging stopped and Patrick could hear footsteps run up to the door before it opened wide. “Hey! Patrick! You’re a bit early,” Bruce said, slightly out of breath. “Oh… should I come back… or…?” Bruce shook his head. “No, no. Come on in. I was just finishing up.” Patrick nodded and wheeled through the door that Bruce had propped open. Inside, was a large almost jacuzzi-looking machine. “What is that?” Bruce smiled as he tightened one of the last dials on the side of it. “This…” he grunted before finishing the last of the screws of the machine, “is your machine.” “My machine?” Patrick asked skeptically and almost worriedly, once again looking over the sleek white and shiny stone-gray finish of the machine in front of him. Bruce let out a chuckle. “Yes, your machine. It’s going to help,” he then pointed to Patrick’s legs, “those puppies move again. I hear you’ve been feeling some sensations lately?” Patrick nodded. “Yeah. Mostly just jolts and shocks, but yesterday afternoon I really started feeling something… more. Gone now though…” Bruce smiled sympathetically. “That’s okay, buddy. That’s what this baby will do for you,” he said patting down his new device. “Meds and stretches or massages will only do so much for you. They can help get some patients halfway down the line, but you’re a bit trickier in some ways. Have to align things properly and actually fully regrow some of your nerves. You need an extra… push.” “And you can do that?” Bruce let out a small laugh. “Well… yeah. I don’t mean to joke, but we brought you over here for a reason. Swear on all my dumbbells back home and stretching tapes here that I am not one of those trickster-Bigs. I really want you to walk again, okay? This machine is going to do that.” Patrick nodded his head. “Okay…” “Good.” Bruce then walked over to Patrick. “Now… arms up and let’s get started.” Patrick did as he was told, and Bruce gently picked him up out of his wheelchair and then set him in the machine. After pressing a few buttons with some audible beeps and whirring, Bruce stepped back and the machine came to life. “Excellent. I’ve set it all to just run on auto for today at least. I’ll have to modify it more in the future, but today… we just need to get a few things rolling.” Patrick nodded and let the machine do its job. It was an odd sensation and once it got going, Patrick could only really describe it as a cross between a massage chair, a heating pad, and what he imagined being a towel in a drying machine would feel like. He just closed his eyes and waited for the bumpy ride to finish. One loud ‘Ding!’ later and Bruce came back over and shut off the machine. “How are we feeling now, sport? Any change or…?” Patrick felt his head slow down and realign itself with reality after being shaken by the machine. “Ugh… that was… something else.” Patrick’s eyes then immediately shot to his legs as Bruce started to lift him out of the machine. He tried moving even his big toe, but it was no use. “Move… move. Move! Move, damn you!” “Woah, easy there, buddy,” Bruce said, trying to calm down the obviously upset Little in front of him. “It takes some time. Utilize some patience young grasshopper.” Bruce tried to help his friend smile, but he only saw a deep sadness start to form over Patrick’s face instead. “What’s wrong? Tell me.” Patrick wiped away a tear of pain and frustration. “I… I just feel… I feel like the defect around here.” Bruce narrowed his eyes and stroked his chin in confusion. “Defect…?” “Yes.” Patrick smacked one of his legs. “Defects… you know? I just… everyone else seems to be getting better, and I’m… nowhere.” “Hey,” Bruce said with a suddenly stern voice. “Look at me.” Patrick did. “Now, all this is just progress. Most of your group was within a year of death. Heck, we almost denied Cara because we thought that she might not even make the journey over here. So, with people like that, the results are a little more noticeable.” “So… I’m not defective?” Patrick asked, a tiny whimper also making it out into his wording. “Oh, buddy…” Bruce patted the saddened Little in front of him on the back. “You’re doing great. Just give this time and I’m sure you’ll be doing handstands in no time, okay?” Patrick sniffled and wiped his eyes. “Okay…” He wiped again and realized the fuss he was making. “Oh… ugh. Sorry about that… just… with all that happened… it’s just so frustrating.” Bruce sighed. “Yeah… I’ve never been paralyzed, but soon, you’ll be able to walk just as well as everyone else. So, for a little while longer, just hold onto that thought when everything gets a little dark again.” Patrick nodded and after a tiny and quick hug between the two, Addy walked back in. She normally wouldn’t, but like many things now, the daily routine was also changing. Giving in more now to her direction, Patrick just let himself be wheeled back up to his room without question. There, already prepared, was a fresh diaper and changing supplies lying on his bed inside. “Is this really necessary?” Patrick asked with a bit of a groan. Addy sighed. “Well… no, but I’ve got pretty good senses by now about these things, and I’m almost positive you’re wet by now.” Patrick still didn’t seem convinced. “How about this… if I’m wrong, I’ll get something more for your room or a special desert for tonight.” “And if I’m wrong?” Patrick asked with some hesitation. Before all this, back home he would have had to at least empty his bladder once. That hadn’t happened this morning and he couldn’t rely on his passive control anymore. “Hmmm… what about that if you’re wrong, I get to choose one thing for you.” Patrick waited for her to elaborate more and even used some hand gestures when Addy remained silent, but she just waved her own hand back at him. “No, no. I can’t tell you more but to some it could be a gift, while others could consider it… well, something else.” Patrick mumbled to himself for the next few minutes, but finally shook his head and extended his arm. “Deal.” Add smiled and shook his hand back. After their thorough pact was agreed on, Addy leaned down and unzipped Patrick’s pants and then slipped her hand in one side of the diaper for good measure. “Just as I suspected… wet.” Patrick’s eyes bolted down and he just shook his head in disbelief as even he could see the discoloration on the front of the diaper. “I guess you win…” His eyes fogged with tears. “Oh, honey,” Addy cooed. “Don’t feel bad. Your end of the bargain might just turn out to be a gift in disguise.” Patrick seemed less than convinced but then just laid back on the changing mat and let Addy go about her business. It was still humiliating but Addy insisted that they just talk about anything else while they were in this situation. So far, Patrick had learned about the upcoming Olympics games and a new product hitting the shelves from Juventas that could be used for both Bigs and Littles. Regardless though, the two were so ensconced with the diaper change that they hadn’t realized that the door was slightly ajar. In what could have been easily nominated as the most mortifying experience of Patrick’s life so far, Addy was nearing the end of the change and after a small knock, Samantha decided to walk in. “Oh my god!” Patrick began to panic and nearly slapped Addy’s hands away from him. “What is she doing here? Get out. Get out! Get the hell out now!” Samantha backed out slowly, too stunned by his sudden outburst to say anything, but apparently, she still wasn’t fast enough. “Just leave!” Patrick shouted again. Addy could tell that Patrick was freaking out and left him for a moment on the bed, with his new diaper pulled up over his front in case of further accidents while she was away briefly, and then escorted Samantha back out of the room. Inside, Patrick couldn’t believe his luck with her seeing him like this. She seemed like a nice person, but as a Little, getting a diaper change in front of someone he had only seen for an hour at most, did not feel like the impression that he wanted to send. It was inevitable, but he needed a great deal more trust with her than what he currently had. After a moment of consoling Samantha outside, Addy re-entered the room and disapprovingly glared at her charge. “Oh Patrick… I understand you are upset, but you are going to apologize to her, do you understand? She is very sorry for entering in here and she understands that you’re embarrassed, but you were very rude. One thing that you will find out quickly the hard way if you keep that up is that Psyche does not tolerate that type of behavior.” Patrick quickly felt ashamed of his behavior and could only whimper in embarrassment and the fact that only his hand was keeping his diaper up over his privates. “I’m… sorry. I’m just not used to all… this. I didn’t want her to think of me as a baby.” Added nodded her head and after moving his hand away, resumed changing Patrick’s diaper. “I understand that. It can be a lot but try to think of yourself in these situations as a Little instead of a baby. Trust me when I say that you are a long way from any form of that definition right now. Besides, even around here, babies have just been born. You were born almost three decades ago. So, you’re a Little, and not even a regressed one at that. Take comfort in that notion if it helps.” Patrick nodded his head as her words entered in his mind. Being a Little was still all new to him, but he was at least glad that Addy had made the distinction between being a baby and being a Little. It wasn’t much solace in the grand scheme of things, but it was still something he could hold onto, especially in moments like these where Addy had just applied a large plume of baby powder and then securely fastened his thick diaper back up. “There. Now, let’s get your clothes on and I’ll get Samanatha to come in here so you can apologize directly to her.” Patrick nodded submissively and let Addy help him get dressed. Once deposited back in the wheelchair and disposing of the necessary items in a nearby and recently added pail, Addy went out of the room and brought Samantha back in. Patrick immediately felt as guilty as he could after seeing the pained and almost frightened look on Samantha’s face as she got closer. “I… I’m so sorry, Samantha,” Patrick finally managed to make out. “I was very rude to you, and you don’t deserve that. I just… I didn’t want you to think of me like a baby…” Addy cleared her throat and then gave him a knowing look. “Oh, right… like a Little I mean. So… I’m so very sorry.” Samantha listened intently and then spoke up. “I understand, Patrick. We’re at the start of a journey together and there might be a few bumps along the way, and truthfully, that’s completely okay. Just try to use your words and not scream them out so much, alright?” Patrick nodded his head, and after Addy had quietly exited the room, the two began to talk in earnest. After a while, Patrick began to finally feel a relief over the sensation of someone caring for him in an adult and parental role, but also giving him the respect of also treating him like an adult. Addy did it as well, but Patrick was never fully sure where her job truly ended and she began. For Samantha, she was only here because of him. It was confining in a way that made one feel the helplessness of a child, but it also felt nice that someone was here just for him as few others could be. The conversation proceeded from there and the two began to get to each other better. It turns out they had a lot in common and if they had been in the same dimension, they would have only lived about an hour apart. After a while though, Samantha began to get a look like she wanted to say something more. After they finished talking about possible trips to take together when Patrick felt more comfortable leaving the grounds here, Samantha finally spoke her mind. “You know, you’re not my first Little.” Patrick kind of suspected that from how she treated him, but it was still somewhat of a shock. “Wait… I’m not?” “No… in fact, you’re not even my first Little in a diaper, or even a wheelchair,” Samantha said while still trying to maintain her cheery demeanor. She knew that while it may have been a little bit of a show at times, it served as a nice façade towards other Littles to get them to open more to her. So far, it hadn’t backfired yet. Patrick’s mind spun at the implications, and he couldn’t help but sputter out a dozen or so questions in under a minute. “But when? Have there been so many? Did you leave or did they reject you? Why are you doing this again? Would I have siblings?” Patrick thought back to the previous discussions that he had with his friends about repeat caretakers. Multiple candidate Littles and previous interviews meant previous rejections as well. He needed answers now. Samantha had just smiled through all his questions and calmly waited for him to finish before taking a breath. “Now, I won’t answer all your questions today, but we can work up to some of them. For now, I’ll just tell you that I was involved with the Psyche program in New Eboracum up north. It actually specifically caters to veterans and wounded emergency personnel, like cops or firefighters. It’s a lot bigger sadly with all the people there needing help, but it’s where a lot of us caretakers start. It was the same with Lloyd actually.” The plot thickened. Patrick had felt something between the two, but he had just played it off. Now, he knew there was more of a history between them. “You two seem pretty close. Is that where you met?” Samantha blushed. “We are pretty close, but no, we didn’t meet there… more just got reacquainted there. We actually first met at the caretaker school a few years back now.” “Caretaker school? I thought all this was just voluntary?” Patrick remembered back to all the ads and pitches about caretakers on this side, but seeing a few of them firsthand now, felt entirely different. What’s more, he kept getting a distinct opinion that he knew practically nothing about them. “Eh… it can be, but Psyche likes to have most of their caretakers certified in Littlecare and techniques that were taught by former personnel here or by those already in the role. You Littles at this location and that one are a bit more fragile than some of the others out there. Not weak mind you… just more in need of some of the more tender care that we can offer. So, we attend that school either full-time or just nights for a period of around six months. Each program suggests different amounts of training. Here and New Eboracum suggest the lengthier period of study.” “Oh wow. That’s a good amount of dedication to something that’s so subjective and not even guaranteed.” Patrick thought hard about it all and Samantha definitely seemed like one of the Bigs who really cared after the two had been talking, but he still needed to know one thing about her after all this. “So, am I your second Little or something?” Samantha seemed to hesitate for a moment, but then said sadly, “Actually… you’re my seventh.” “Oh…” Patrick’s mind reeled at the notion of being rejected by another Little six times previously. ‘Was she secretly a serial killer or something? But her tone and her face…’ He realized that he couldn’t simply jump to conclusions. “That must be hard…” Samantha smiled at Patrick’s outward sympathy. “Yes… all of them were wonderful but sometimes Bigs and Littles just don’t click. I think I’m just more of the warm and fuzzy type with an adventurous streak. I think that split can be hard when finding the right Little. Most want one or the other.” “I would imagine so, but I think it’s a good balance. You get the active bit down with the relaxing stuff as well. I used to do that all the time, before… well, anyway… I always enjoyed the balance.” As he talked, Samantha quickly lit up as if her previous melancholy had completely vanished. One might have mistaken it for only joy over a Little seeming to connect with her, but the more discerning observer could see a speck of hope scattered in her new mood as well. “I’m glad to hear that. I’ll be sure to get some of the more adventurous trips planned out with you… if you want, that is…” Patrick smiled and nodded. “I think that would be perfect. I would love to get out of here… well, maybe get out of here with someone other than… Redge.” Samantha nodded and placed her hand on his shoulder very gently. “I promise that won’t happen when you’re with me. What that man did…” she then shook her head in disgust and reached down beside her from the bed and picked up the bag she had brought in with her. “It was unforgiveable, but to further emphasize how I’m not him… I know Lloyd and I just got you some stuff yesterday, but I hope you accept these from me as well.” Patrick gladly accepted another care package from the Big and couldn’t help but smell something sugary and sweet emanating from the top opening of the bag. Samantha noticed. “If you want, you can open it. I won’t mind if it turns out that you hate everything in there, but you don’t have to open it if you don’t feel comfortable.” Patrick shook his head, especially after another wave of something delectable skipped around his nose. “Oh no. I actually… well, I would love to open your gift,” he finally managed to stammer out. Samantha smiled sweetly and Patrick quickly reached into the bag after seeing there wasn’t a card. He had always been taught that the card always came first, and he certainly didn’t want to be rude to the kind and caring woman before him. If nothing else in the future, he knew that she at least deserved that. A few minutes later, Patrick’s loot now lay around him, each item causing his eyes to bug out even more than they did with the previous item. The first item had been a pair of blue fuzzy socks ‘for those hard days where comfort is king’ as Samantha had put it. The second item had been a tin of rubbing cream specially approved by Bruce already to aid in his recovery after the machine, which was orange and smelled of cayenne and ginger. The third item was a large and weighted dark gray blanket awash with slightly cartoonish images of galaxies and shooting stars. Lastly and certainly not least, was a batch of homemade peanut butter cookies, complete tiny chocolate chips and slivers of toffee. They were absolutely delectable, and already wrapped under the blanket, Patrick had helped himself to one in minutes of spotting them. “Want one?” Patrick asked Samantha, holding the box out to her, his mouth still full of the delicious cookies. “Swallow your food before you speak, please, but I’m good. Thank you though.” Patrick just smiled back at her and swallowed. At the same time, there was a growing feeling in Samantha’s chest. She wasn’t sure what it was, but something about Patrick just made her want to hug him on the spot and take him home tomorrow. Given what he had gone through though, she just had to be satisfied with the hug and warm embrace that her blanket was giving him now. Patience was certainly a virtue in these situations, so she internalized her desires as much as she could. The two bonded for a while longer, but much to Patrick’s frustration, group therapy was about to start. “Will I see you again?” he asked, another cookie in his hand, as the two exited his room and made their way downstairs in the elevator with Addy. “I certainly hope so. I really am sorry about earlier, but you don’t need to be embarrassed about those things around me. I promise to never judge or make fun of you for wearing diapers, okay?” Patrick nodded and smiled at Samantha. A warm feeling eclipsed his heart, but he knew he had to play this cool. Too many shows of affection at this point would just be an issue down the road by making him more vulnerable. If something did go wrong by then, he would have less leverage to refute her advances. “Okay, Samantha, but I want to say that I’m sorry again as well. I overreacted and… well, just thank you for all the stuff you brought. It really means a lot being cooped up in this place. No offense, Addy.” “None taken,” Addy said with a smile. In truth, while she felt a little jealous of the two, she only wanted what was best for Patrick, even if that meant that he would choose someone else. After a tender goodbye between Patrick and Samantha in the front hall, Addy wheeled Patrick into the group therapy room and sat down in between him and Cara. Soon, the rest of the spots were filled, and the session began. For most of the session, Patrick just basked in the still-present warm glow that Samantha had left him with. The fullness in his stomach and tiny nibbles of her cookie that he had brought down with him probably helped sustain said feeling, but Patrick didn’t care. He just liked how he had felt around her. If he didn’t know any better, he could have almost mistaken this wonderful new feeling as hope. Hope that things were getting better at least on some level. Group therapy had other plans though. Now, group therapy has its uses, but in a program like Psyche, progress is measured in a variety of ways. First, Patrick couldn’t help but notice a few more well-padded posteriors in the group today, but as no one dared talk about it, he only had his suspicions. On the other hand, though, progress could also be marked by one’s health. For instance, of the entire group, only Darren still looked deathly pale as most had during their first session to some degree. Now, the rest seemed well-rested and almost youthful in a way that Patrick couldn’t quite place. Further, the display from Cara, Ian, and Quentin yesterday had shown that they were all on the mend. Stories shared in group only added to his growing feeling of being left behind in his progress. He tried to hold onto what Bruce had told him this morning, but it was getting more difficult with each story of success. “Yeah… I… uh, I gardened yesterday. Little lilies that Erin here,” she said, pointing to her nurse, “said we could bring in when it got colder out. Right Erin?” Terra’s and Darren’s nurse just smiled back at her charge and nodded. Terra was still showing signs of her advanced Alzheimer’s, but she also seemed to be more coherent now. Patrick couldn’t help but remember when they first met, and she had seemed completely lost. Now, she looked as if she was just coming out of dream. It was small but it was still a visible sign of her progress. Dr. Halgen commended her efforts, and like a knife grating against his soul further, she just wanted to continue the sharing of success stories. Cara went next. “I’m doing pretty good. I, uh, actually walked up to the second floor yesterday… so yay?” “That’s wonderful news, Cara,” Dr. Halgen complimented. “In fact, let’s give her all a round of applause.” The group then all clapped for her and while Patrick had as well, each clap felt like a punch to his own ego. Patrick wasn’t necessarily the jealous type, but he and Cara had come here together and had been wheelchair bound on that bus. She felt like an equal in some form. Now though, Patrick was still stuck in a wheelchair and now wore diapers. Cara may have been wearing pull-ups around during the day now, but she had made it to the second floor. The best Patrick could do was to feel something occasionally right before he wet his diaper, or more often than not, after he had wet his diaper. It was jealousy through and through, and Patrick felt like the biggest ass in the world, but he just couldn’t help it. He had been having a few rough weeks and just wanted his break to come. Unfortunately, jealousy can’t always easily be hidden and Dr. Halgen couldn’t help but notice the growing scowl growing on Patrick’s face. Once the clapping died down, Dr. Halgen spoke up. “Is there something you want to say to the group, Patrick?” All eyes in the room immediately focused on him. Not feeling like talking, he gave a simple, “No.” Dr. Halgen seemed less than convinced of his answer though. “Hmmm.” She then turned to the rest of the group instead. “Now group, I know we’ve talked about not sharing when you don’t want to, but what have I said about lying in group here.” As if the group, sans Patrick, had suddenly turned into one being, they all said in unison, “Lying only hurts yourself. Lying should not occur in group.” A small shiver ran up Patrick’s spine, but he was still upset from his lack of progress. He knew that sometimes, there were just days that people wanted to be left alone. Dr. Halgen only seemed to ignore this principle. Now, knowing he probably didn’t want to talk today, however, Dr. Halgen knew that she had to push him. If he became a Little and went to one of the typical Bigs here, he would need to learn that sometimes, Littles had to push by what they didn’t like and express their feelings before they burst and were possibly subsequently punished. Dr. Halgen knew that one day, that sharing could include a stuffy, blankie, or paci, but for today, she just needed to get him to share what was on his mind for his sake. “Now, how about it, Patrick? Ready to open up and let us in on what you’re thinking?” Patrick hesitated. These people were his friends, and as much as he knew it might be nice for him to let it out, he also knew that his feelings and own truth would only hurt them or make them feel guilty. Instead, he just tried to dodge the question once more. “I’m fine. Just…” he tried thinking of a lie that could at least be believable, “uh, just a long day. Lots to think about and all.” “Oh, I would imagine…” The gears in Dr. Halgen’s brain whirred with energy and determination. She had been down these roads dozens of times by now. Patrick’s overall demeanor, and a minor mention from this morning’s report from Bruce, was all she needed to figure out the real reason for his sour face… so she pushed again. “How’d therapy go this morning? Any feelings or… progress?” The words burned into Patrick like a hot poker branding itself into his heart. ‘She knows… I need to stay strong. For the group…’ Patrick readjusted himself but stopped when he heard a crinkle from his diaper. A few of the group seemed to be catching onto something and he could feel that all eyes were on him. He had to dodge more swiftly or risk upsetting everyone, a task which was only getting more difficult. “Feeling a twitch, so yay… but all good.” He then turned to Ian. “How’s things going for you? Last you said, you were able to move around better without the pain.” Ian nodded happily. “Oh yeah. Pain is going away and… wait… you’re deflecting!” Ian pointed back toward Patrick. “Come on man, it’s your turn now. Just talk it out.” “Yeah! Go for it, dude! Let it all out!” Quentin said with an unusual ease, something that had become more of a staple of his overall demeanor instead of his previous stiff upper crust one. Cara then bent over and sweetly added. “Please, Patrick. We’re all in this together. Healing as one group. I promise it will help in the long run. Please.” It was the last straw. Patrick knew she meant well, but it was just pouring salt into his already open wound with her mentioning of ‘healing as a group.’ He had tried to repress his anger, but everyone had just pushed him over the edge. Now, his boiling internal feelings reached a critical failure. “Just back off!” Cara was too stunned to speak but sat back in her chair. “All of you, just back off!” Patrick yelled at the rest of the group. “All of you are healing and that’s great! But me? I’m almost the same. Worse even! I’ve been abused and spanked, diapered, and humiliated more than any of you… and what’s my prize? Spasms and fleeting feelings in my pelvis that just let me know enough information to know how far I’ve fallen! Every time you all say something good about yourselves, just makes me hate myself more. I’m so sick and tired of this place and this stupid chair! I want out, but every time you all say that you’ve moved faster or stronger than before, I hate myself more for not progressing. It makes me hate everyone!” The group remained silent, but Dr. Halgen tried as hard as she could to repress her smile. It wasn’t of cruelty or anything, but she knew that Patrick was a hider. He hid his feelings away like squirrels did for their nuts for the winter. At Psyche, the Littles repressing everything they were feeling was bad for their future caretakers and those relationships, but it was also just plain unhealthy as well. So, while her smile could have been seen as cruel or sadistic, it was actually more of a form to show her relief. At last, Patrick could unburden his heart and move forward from all that was happening to him. Now, he had a chance to be a happy Little one day. Just maybe not today… At the group’s stunned silence and horror-stricken faces, Patrick realized he had pushed too far. What he said may have been his truth, but it conveyed a sense of hatred more than he had originally intended. He was pissed but he didn’t want to hurt anyone. So, still upset but now embarrassed as well, Patrick used the stun of the group to quickly wheel away from everyone and out the door. “Wait, Patrick! Just…” Dr. Halgen cried out, but it was too late once she realized that he was making a break for it. “Sorry, everyone… but I think Patrick is going to need some alone time for the rest of the day.” She then turned to Addy. “Addy… can you…?” Addy nodded and got up from her chair. “I’ll go find him. Erin… can you help Cara if she needs it?” Erin nodded and Addy ran off to try and catch up or even find her charge. Patrick didn’t stop wheeling away from the group until he was completely outside and under a tree near to one of the property fences. He had discovered it the other day and knew the path to get here was just doable with his skill in his wheelchair. It was usually a place of joy, but Patrick just wanted some form of peace today. Just a little bit of… “Patrick!” a voice cried out behind him. Patrick swung his chair around and saw Addy running right at him. “Damn it…” Addy quickly arrived where he was and even seemed a little out of breath. “Couldn’t find you for a minute there, but I saw you liking this place the other day…” She looked up at the frustrated Little in front of her. While in group he had just seemed pissed at the world and everyone else in it, now, she could see a few tears begin to fall from his cheeks. “Talk to me, sweetie. Please. Don’t hold it in. It’s not healthy.” Patrick didn’t want to give in no matter what, but Addy’s longing looks finally pierced a small hole into his already deteriorating outer armor. “I just…” he hung his head in sadness. “I’m just so far behind everyone else. I… I… Shit! It’s just not fair! I’m the least sick coming here and now everyone can practically do handstands while I’m stuck in diapers and this… this… chair!” Addy was a smart nurse and had suspected this possibility from the beginning but after the incident with Redge, she felt like she was no longer in the position to directly ask such personal questions. One of her biggest fears after the whole event, beyond the long term mental psychological effects on Patrick, was that her betrayal of his trust would have ruined their relationship permanently. Instead, she now knew that he needed her more than ever at this stage. “And I can’t believe how stupid I was to trust in this place! I’m a class A idiot for coming here. I mean, I would take or do anything just to feel something for more than five minutes! I would stab needles or anything into all parts of my flesh just to feel… something. Something more than my grief for the past five years! Can you understand that Addy?” Patrick began to sob. “I just… I just want to feel. Sand in my toes, the wind on my calves, the touch of someone who wants to care for me… but I can’t! I’m just a broken toy amongst all the others who are able to go back into the toy box and get played with. Meanwhile, I’m stuck on this shelf… rotting away! Broken and alone!” Addy’s heart was bursting about as much as it could, so with a great deal of effort, she closed the gap between her and Patrick as slowly as she could. He was still beyond upset and his yells of frustration had mostly turned into mostly incomprehensible shouts between tears. It was a pitiful and heartbreaking scene for any caretaker, so Addy just started to rub his back in slow, wide circles. It took some time, but Patrick finally started to make sense once more. “I just… when will I get better? I don’t think I can watch them get better while I’m just stuck…” Addy quickly put her finger over his now pursed lips. “Honey… you need take yourself out of this for right now. It’s not a competition. In fact, it’s more of a participation type of contest and it’s really how you go about it and if you make it to the finish line.” Addy quickly looked saddened. “Not all our Littles are so lucky. I had this one girl, almost a year ago now… she was this tiny, cute dark-haired Little. Stage four brain cancer… aggressive.” Tears began to sting her eyes but with a few dainty wipes, she managed to stop herself from fully crying. She just needed to finish talking about Mindy and then move on. “By the time we got to her first treatment, her systems were shutting down. A week later all the doctors came to ensure she would survive, but they were too late. We all were…” Patrick had managed to calm down enough that he fully heard everything about one of Addy’s previous Littles. He saw how upset she was. “I’m so sorry, Addy…” Patrick then looked ashamed. “I know I could be much worse, but I’m just…” “Frustrated? Sad? Nervous? Brave and beautiful? All the above?” Addy asked with a slowly growing smile of understanding as she dabbed her eyes once more. Patrick nodded his head. “Oh sweetie.” Addy was smart, but she also had feelings that had been building up for a while for her current Little. Cara was wonderful, but there was a vulnerability that Patrick just seemed to excrete in most things he did, and it was only getting more powerful and therefore harder to resist. Now, she could shut her emotions off like some of the other nurses did, but she felt her emotions just made her more empathetic to her charges. She had helped so many Littles just by using these emotions to know what they needed in a moment of crisis. It wasn’t a weakness… it was a strength and one she could use to help without any fear of possibly crossing a line. That is, until today. Seeing the upset and extremely vulnerable Little, her instincts took over, and without a second thought, she picked him up and cradled him on her shoulder. She feared the consequences of doing something like that without his permission, but she knew that he needed direct comfort right now. Patrick had been too upset to notice any major shifts in Addy, but by the time she was rubbing his back while cradled against her shoulder, it had been too late to protest. Further, the gentle caresses and massages of Addy actually seemed to be improving his mood. He couldn’t imagine what this looked like from the outside, but for now, any feelings of comfort were readily accepted. So, he just nuzzled into her more and kept quiet beyond his still persistent cries. “Shhh, shhh. You just rest against my shoulder, sweetie. You had a long day and even longer month. It’s almost the end of the first phase and you’ve made so much progress. You’ve even started on the machine, so for me, please just stick with us. We will help you. Bruce, Samantha, Dr. Halgen, Lloyd… all of us! I promise. It takes time, but you will walk again. Just give us a little more time and trust. Please.” Patrick lapped up her words like they were his only life preserver in a massive storm. His confidence had been a wreck since his accidental wettings had started increasing and his demotion to diapers had only withered it further down. Today, with group therapy and seemingly everyone’s progress and health updates, he had felt like he was stalling in the mud and his will and strength to continue had seemingly evaporated. Now, he was in one of the more classic Little poses by being soothed against the large and comforting shoulder of a Big. It was humiliating, but it was such a relief as well. In fact, he couldn’t… ‘What the heck is that?’ Patrick wanted to scream in terror as an odd feeling felt like some demonic hand was reaching from down in the fiery pits of hell to drag him away to eternal torment. He was surprised that Addy hadn’t noticed his jolt, but it also gave him time to collect his thoughts and figure out what it was. Not a second later, he realized that he had just felt one side of the scrub top that Addy now wore on his calf. It was gone now, but it had been there as real as anything else. Despite the diaper and everyone else’s stunning progress, this was something else entirely. It was a hope and an already substantial downpayment on the deal of the notion that Addy had just mentioned in her promise to get him to walk again. Patrick couldn’t help but instantly feel better and Addy noticed. “Oh? Is someone feeling better?” Still in shock over what had just happened, Patrick only nodded. The feeling was gone but it was a ray of hope. As foreboding as it may have been, Patrick couldn’t help but look back at his slow progress and think only two words that seemed to aptly fit what was going on now with his progress at Psyche: baby steps. Only time would prove how wise or foolish his current worry was over how accurate those words would be.5 points

Chapter 27: Favours Parum Mortis – LittleFallenPrincess “Oh no dear, the pleasure is all mine…” Miss Morningstar said, practically purring at my girlfriend. “I… I’m sorry to have brought you to this place… I just…” You could sense the fear in Beth’s voice. Which just made me even more nervous. “Don’t worry about it, dear. I’m actually quite happy to see this in such a state after all these years. I remember your Grandmother releasing the previous owner from his debt… which I must admit I was not exactly happy about at the time, but seeing it in a state like this… and more importantly… not in his hands, is… pleasing.” “I’m sorry about that.” “Please, enough with the apologies. Seriously. You’re Beatrice’s sister. So you’re a friend. You don’t have to treat me like everyone else does. The previous owners are the ones I have an issue with, not you.” “Umm…” I muttered, trying to get Beth’s attention. Because right now… I was so freaking confused! “Yes baby?” Beth asked, looking at me. “Who… is… umm…” “Oh where are my manners…” Miss Morningstar put her arm to her waist and tilted her leg back, before bowing before me. “Lucifer, at your service. People call me Miss Morningstar, though technically I don’t have a last name. But I kinda like it, so I’ve been using it for a few centuries.” “Miss… L… Lu…” “The Devil, Satan, Samiel… though I always preferred Samantha. Whatever name you’ve heard, that’s me.” “The… actual… Devil?” My eyes widened in fear. Witches and vampires were one thing. My childhood obsession being real people was pushing it. But this… this was so out of the box now I didn’t know how to react. “One and the same.” “Luci is an old friend of mine. She owes me a favour.” Beatrice smiled at me, trying to make me feel more comfortable with the fact that WE HAD THE ACTUAL FUCKING DEVIL IN FRONT OF US! Which was especially weird as she looked so… normal… …And hot. “And you love to remind me of it. So here I am, happy to help… and pay off my debt.” Lucifer rolled her eyes. “Umm… Miss Devil…?” I asked, fear in my voice. “You can call me Luci, sweetie.” She replied. “I… thought you were a guy…” “Don’t get her started…” Beatrice interrupted, her tone filled with disappointment. “Do you think the big man upstairs would send his favourite SON to rule Hell? No. But his favourite daughter… damn right he would…!” Lucifer started ranting. “See, once you get her going…” “Sorry… I didn’t mean to…” I apologised to both Lucifer and Beatrice. “It’s okay, sweetie. Any other questions before I ask what I’m doing here?” “I have to ask… what did Beatrice do for you?” “Let’s just say it involved a certain sibling of mine.” “Sibling? As in?” “A fellow angel.” I completely forgot that Lucifer wasn’t originally the Devil… or Satan… she was… she was an angel. An actual frickin’ angel! “But anyway, that didn’t work out, so I’ve…” “Actually…” Beatrice interrupted her. Because that’s totally a normal thing. To interrupt THE DEVIL. SERIOUSLY WHY ARE PEOPLE NOT FREAKING OUT ABOUT THIS? “Yes, Trixie?” Lucifer teased, causing Beatrice to sigh. “About that… I’ve got a proposal.” “Oh?” “Maybe a match for your sister. I recently made friends with someone who just lost their girlfriend last year. She’s in a pretty dark place. But she… I’ve got a feeling about her. You know… one of those feelings.” “Really? But it’s been forever since I last tried. I don’t want to have to start over again if it fails…” “Trust me. I’ve got a really good feeling about this one. Problem is… she’s not in a good place, like I said. It may take some… convincing. As in… you know…” “Trickery?” “Exactly. She hates the world. So maybe play on that somehow?” Lucifer took a second, deep in thought as we all held on bated breath for her reply. “I’ve got the perfect solution for that… though it may mean you’ll need to get closer to her…” Lucifer trailed off, grinning. Beatrice sounded so… different… talking to Lucifer. Much more… malevolent. It kinda scared me a bit. “What did Beatrice mean by one of those feelings?” I whispered to Beth. “She… well she can’t exactly predict the future. But she has these… feelings. She’s really good at reading people because of it. I can’t explain it any better than that, sorry sweetie. Whilst necromancy is more my thing… this was hers, which was passed down from the other side of the family.” “So you all have your own things that you’re special at?” “Yeah, kinda.” “So… what do you crazy kids need?” Lucifer asked, talking to the group as a whole, instead of just Beatrice this time. “Warding…” Beth replied. “Booooring.” Luci just rolled her eyes. “...Against Death.” That got her attention. “Run that by me again…” Luci said, walking over to my girlfriend and pointing at her chest. “We need warding. Against… well… everything. Including Death.” “I can see why you wanted to call in this favour… that’s some serious power requirement…” Luci grinned. “Can you manage it?” Luci just laughed in response. “I think that means she can…” I whispered to Beth, who nodded back at me. Stretching out her hands together, twisting them around and cracking her knuckles, Lucifer adjusted her suspenders and just… walked off. “So is she…?” Beth asked her sister. “Just leave her to it. She’ll get it done. When she’s finished, this place will be nigh-impenetrable. At least to any sort of supernatural entity. We’ll still have to reinforce the doors to stop humans.” Beatrice replied. “Right… Well I better arrange people into groups then. What kind of thing do you want to do, baby?” Beth turned to ask me. “I… I dunno… I just…” “Well first things first… we need to get everything cleaned up. All the old furniture ripped out and thrown out. Then we can repair everything and then we can start decorating.” “I mean… there’s more than that, but yes, that’s the overall gist of it.” Beatrice added. “So Susie, think about what you wanna do, whilst I go organise others into groups, okay baby? I can slot you anywhere.” “What are you going to do?” I asked Bea. “I’m going to go see if Luci needs any help or assistance, whilst making sure everyones has what they need. As long as every group has some muscle and some magic, I think we should be okay.” She replied. Beth was just about to walk off, when she was suddenly stopped by Pandora. “What is it?” Beth asked her. “I was thinking… this stage of the renovation is a bit too… grown up… for a lot of the people here.” “I mean, they’re still adults, Pandy…” Beth responded. “Wouldn’t it be cuter if…” Pandora nodded her head away from us, as if signalling somewhere. “I mean… really we could do with all the help we can get. Do you really think it’s a good idea to put them out of the way?” Beth asked, as if she knew what Pandora was talking about. “And do you want to have to deal with one of them bratting whilst we’re trying to work?” Pandora counter-argued. “Ugh… I guess. We do have some handfuls.” “I’m not much help really. I don’t have strength, and I don’t have magic…” Pandora sighed. “But I know that myself and the little ones will help a lot later when the place is… you know… not a dump. When we can start decorating and designing things. Why don’t I take the little ones to my box, then when things are looking a little less… ramshackle… we can come out and help? It’ll give your little one time to…” “I don’t know if she’s ready for that, Pandy. She isn’t even sure she’s one of them. She’s still coming to terms with being one of us. Non-human, that is..” “And this will allow her to socialise and…” “I’ll go.” I interrupted. “Are you sure, baby?” Beth asked, out of concern. “Hey, if it’s not my thing, I can always come back out and help, right? I have that increased strength you need if you really need my help too. I… I’d like to get to know more of these people. You know them all so well… so I want to too.” I explained. “Right, okay. Pandy, you take them to your box for the time being. If we need any of them for any particular jobs, we’ll come grab them, okay? And if any of them would rather help out here, don’t pressure them to go with you. Got that?” Beth said, sounding very serious. “I won’t, don’t worry. I’ll go play Nanny in my box with them, and they can get to know your little one… I mean… girlfriend. Sorry.” Beth nodded, before turning around and grabbing my arm, gently shuffling me off to the side, out of hearing range. “Are you sure, babe? You don’t have to go… She just wants to make all the littles blushy, and nothing makes them more blushy than having to go be little whilst the bigs are busy working. She loves making babies feel small.” She whispered. “I figured, but don’t worry. I can always come out, right? I have to ask though… this ‘box’...?” “Pandora’s box…? That whole story was nonsense. There was a box. And yes… she opened it. But it was just… nothing. There were no evils or curses. And it was a jar, not a box. It was just a pocket dimension where someone had left their gardening supplies, which had all rusted and it was basically just a mess. So she cleared it out and turned it into a nursery for her and her little Medusa, one she could carry anywhere.” “So… she has her own little pocket dimension now? And it's…” “It looks a bit like a daycare.” Beth answered. “Oh… so you’ve been?” “I’ve seen it, once or twice. She’s normally very restrictive when it comes to letting people in, she only lets us use it on special occasions. Don’t worry, it’s safe, and I think you’ll have fun. Everyone is dying to meet you, and I think you’ll get on well with a lot of them.” “Is that a joke?” “Oh… no it wasn’t, sorry. I’m going to have to be careful with the death puns from now on, aren’t I?” She laughed. “Anyway, go have fun. If you need me, just come get me okay? And if I need you, I’ll be right over.” I turned and looked at Pandora, who held out her hands, one towards me, one towards Lucy… who was still a bit stunned at the whole ‘meeting Lucifer’ thing I think. Thankfully she quickly realised what was happening and took Pandora’s hand as she guided us over to the big group. “Right… everyone? We’ve decided this stage of the build is too dangerous for the little ones, don’t you agree?” About half the people in the crowd looked towards their partners and nodded, whilst having the biggest grins on their faces. “Oh yes, I agree.” I heard a few of them say. The other half… well their faces were bright red. Guess it’s easy to win ‘find the babies’ in this crowd. “So… I’m going to take these two little ones and my own to my daycare, and I’m extending the offer to all other little ones. Obviously… you don’t have to go, you can help out here if you want, but I think the adults have this stage handled. We can come back out when it gets to the fun decorating stage!” Pandora explained, raising her voice so everyone could hear. “So if you’re coming, form an orderly line behind us, and make sure to hold hands with the person in front. Lucy… can you hold on to Susie’s hand?” Lucy nodded and let go of Pandora, before grabbing my free hand with hers. “There we go. Meddy? Can you come hold my other hand? I’ll need you to open Mummy’s box for me.” The girl with the beanie hat walked over and rummaged around Pandora’s bag that was hanging off her shoulder, before pulling out what looked like a tiny little wooden chest. Kinda like the ones you’d see in pirate things, like a treasure chest. “I thought it was a jar…?” I asked, confused. “Oh it’s whatever she wants it to look like.” Medusa replied, smiling shyly at me. “Oh, that’s so cool!” “Isn’t it just!?” She replied, before realising how loud she was, quickly hiding behind her girlfriend’s arm. “Right… everyone form a line…” Pandora called out once more as the crowd in front of us halved in seconds, with the half who I assumed were all the ‘babies’ shuffling out and walking behind us. “Meddy… if you would…” Medusa held the chest up in front of her, away from the crowd, and opened the lid. Suddenly a vortex flew out of the tiny box, swirling around chaotically for a few seconds, before it started to calm. The circular motions it formed started to become more… jagged, more angular, as it started to resemble a large vertical rectangle more than a circle. A few more seconds of it calming… and suddenly… a door stood there, in the middle of the room… “Let’s go then, make sure to hold onto your partner’s hands!” Pandora said as she walked towards the door, it opened as she got closer… to reveal… A pastel-coloured wonderland. ======================================================== So happy so many of you are enjoying this story so much! I guess there are probably some kinds of Egyptian Mummies out there, but they wouldn't have Greek names The same way it works in loads of other stories Death reaps the departed souls and ferries them to their respective afterlives. Luci is the ruler of one of them. We've already seen Luci before... :3 But I guess we only had a little introduction in the previous story.4 points

I fantasise a lot about cutting the retrieval line of my stent. A simple action, but with huge consequences. I know I would never be able to get it out myself. Honestly, I still don't have the guts to do it. It's not because of the risk that the stent will slip into my bladder. That has never happened with my current stent. I never had to use its retrieval line for that reason. I am also sure there are no risks of infection or other complications when I leave the stent in for many months. No, it's because I know I would eventually seek medical attention to have the stent removed. I am absolutely certain that permanent incontinence is a very different experience than incontinence with the possibility of reversal. What I'm trying to say is that even though I find the experience of incontinence very exciting, it is that same excitement that would ultimately exhaust me mentally if it were permanent. Why is that? Why isn't more of a good thing better? Well, there's no way not to feel incontinent. You never really get used to it, even if wearing and changing diapers has become something of a routine in your new life. The amount of wetting is too unpredictable, it's too embarrassing to leak and it's too unnatural not to stay clean and dry. I've heard paraplegics in wheelchairs say they were so happy that at least they weren't incontinent. That tells you everything you need to know. The lack of control is always there. Just like an amputee will always know the limb is not there. The disability is likely to be even more pronounced than a missing limb because the incontinence continues to bother you in bed, while an amputee is likely to find some relief from not having to think about or experience their missing limb. And then there's the ongoing struggle to hide incontinence. Somehow incontinence is less accepted than a missing limb. People can tolerate an amputee better and accept the limitations that come with it. But almost no one can tolerate someone peeing or pooping in a diaper. Even I have a hard time seeing commercials for incontinence products with actors wearing them. Doesn't that say enough? That's why it is almost impossible to live as freely as someone who is not dependent on diapers. I always feel the pee flowing freely out of me, I feel my diaper all the time and it is always wet. I know that diaper leaks will happen from time to time and I will have to check the status of my diaper every time I go to places where there are no toilet facilities. And even then the time I can spend outside will be limited. When I leave the house, there is always a bit of math involved to figure out how many diapers I will need before I get home. There's no room for unplanned activities if I don't have enough diapers on hand. Sleep gets also disrupted, because like I said before, incontinence continues in bed. Any change in position will lead to a noticeable loss of urine and in addition to that I will have regular bladder contractions that will lead to heavy urine loss, which sometimes wakes me up. Bedwetting is just so unnatural that it's hard to ignore it and sleep through it all the time. And I haven't even mentioned the consequences for romantic relationships, which are also enormous. Making love in a diaper, having sex while peeing on your partner, is not the first thing that comes to mind when I think about it. Incontinence is always on your mind. You can't afford to not think about it, otherwise there will be social consequences. It keeps you in a constant state of caution, and you are ALWAYS planning and calculating whenever you're out in public. It's the sum of feeling wet and dirty all the time and obsessively trying to hide this embarrassing disability, what makes it so hard to deal with. It is exhausting and there is almost no time to fully relax unless you stay at home close to your bathroom. No matter what other people say, incontinence is a very disabling condition. That's why I don't cut the retrieval line..... ....at least not now. 😉3 points

Mom wanted something sweet so we popped into Starbucks for some banana bread. She got a pumpkin spice cream drink and I got a caramel frappe. So good.2 points

At home I’m in just a diaper and toddler t-shirt. At night in my crib, I’m in a diaper with a onesie or footie sleeper. Out of the house, I’m in a diaper with regular clothes. I prefer to be in just a diaper and t-shirt.2 points

Chapter 53: Consequences I LOOKED UP at Mackenzie’s stern face as she approached. She picked me up and carried me to the changing table, where she sat me up and forcefully pulled all of the snaps in the crotch of the pants open to reveal my dry Pull-Up. I was nervous about what she would say, sure that I was about to be diapered like the rest of them! I practically shook as she pulled her phone out and navigated for a second before waving the phone over my Pull-Up. ‘Insurance?’ I wondered, suddenly remembering the strip she’d placed on my Pull-Up that morning and the day before. She smiled at me, “Good thing I didn’t have my night off tonight like I should have! Looks like you were a good boy all day and have earned seven stars on the chart!” “You know I didn’t wet those?” She nodded, “I didn’t think you had, but now I know for certain.” I was now shaking in relief. Mackenzie wrapped me in a hug and then gently reconnected the crotch snaps. “Wait! Why aren’t you putting him right into a diaper!?!” Elijah asked. “Because he’s a big boy who doesn’t need diapers except at bedtime. And if he keeps dry a couple more weeks, he won’t even be required to wear them then.” She sat me on the ground and stepped before me, “Unlike certain other little boys trying to play tricks on Connor.” Elijah looked at me, “Helper!” he hissed. Mackenzie smiled down at me and turned back, “You know Connor isn’t a helper; he’s actually just been himself. A really sweet boy! However, I don’t think you’ve been very wise here.” I watched her press some buttons on her phone, and a moment later, Doctor Greene, who we had only been briefly introduced to, came into the room. She was the head nest mother, and I felt like the shit was about to hit the fan! “There’s some problem here, Miss Mackenzie?” “Yes, I need to go back through the video for the room for a few minutes to ensure I’m right on who needs to be disciplined. Can you watch these guys for a few minutes while I grab my tablet?” “Sure,” she said, looking down at me. “Is Mister Slane one of your suspects?” “No, he’s actually the victim here,” she told her. “Okay,” she said. She looked at me, “Why don’t you go work on some homework, sweetie, while we grownups figure out what’s going on?” I shuddered and saw the three who seemed involved glare at me more, even as I figured they must have known they were about to get busted. I sat down, pulled out my tablet, and started studying and messaging Grandma to fill her in - just in case. Mackenzie was gone for about twenty minutes while our babysitter sat in the rocking chair and stared at us. I had no idea what else to make of things, and suddenly thought about the fact that one of those Pull-Ups was in my bag. I gagged as I realized my backpack was soaked with urine… and it looked like there was something more disgusting that had slimed its way out. “Umm… Doctor Greene?” I asked. “Yes, sweetie?” “Whoever put those things in my bag made a mess…?” She walked over and said, “Oh my, you’re right… We’ll have to get another bag for you. Did anything else get ruined?” She watched as I pulled things out and suddenly realized this could be a problem with the hidden compartment! She turned her head just long enough as Mackenzie opened the door for me to hide the small package under my booster and next to my tablet, computer, and goggles. Pens, a notebook, and some other items came out to completely empty the bag, with the notebook and most of it finding a spot in the trash can since there was a combination of urine… and something else on them. “When we finish sorting out this mess, I’ll put this bag in the washing machine and see if we can clean it. If not, whoever did this will be paying for a new one for you,” she told me, looking back at me. I nodded. Right then, the door opened back up from Mackenzie’s apartment. “Well, I think we have everything we need here, Doctor Greene,” Mackenzie said. “Elijah, Levi, Jack, and Benjamin, you need to get over here right now,” she said to them. “I didn’t do anything!” Ben tried saying. “True, you didn’t do the planting, but I see on this video that you gave them a little vial of stuff that they used to unstick their diapers?” He looked guiltily at the ground, “You can’t prove that…” “Maybe?” Mackenzie paused before adding, “Luckily, I don’t need to!” He looked up in surprise, “What do you mean?” “Well, the six of us are going to take a trip to Dean Northrup’s office,” she told him. “She’ll be the one who sorts this out!” From somewhere, I watched her pull out some of those toddler cuffs that parents used to keep toddlers from running off. Each of the boys had an arm attached to the two of them, with Mackenzie telling us, “Boys, your lights out will be a little bit late tonight. I’ll be back to change you for bed as soon as I can, or have another mother come by. Behave, I’m watching you,” she pointed to the ceiling where I could see a nanny cam that clearly covered the room. After they left, Grayson approached me, “Good going, helper!” He pushed me out of my chair, but I made no move to fight him. I had little doubt I could take care of him, but there was no need to beat him up just then. “Pathetic!” He said when I didn’t move to fight him before he returned to his area. I waited to see if anything else would happen before returning to my desk and taking advantage of the extra time for homework. BETH WAS WORKING on some practice problems for calculus when there was a knock on her door. She looked through the viewfinder and saw Livy and let her in. “Hi, Livy,” she said. “Where were you for dinner?” she asked. Beth blushed but said, “Connor took me out to dinner?” Livy gasped, “No way!!!” “Close the door, dork!” Beth told her. She did and then came and sat down on the bean bag chair since Beth was in her desk chair. “Seriously? You two are really going out?” Beth shrugged, “Other than height, he’s a really great catch!” Livy giggled at that, “I wonder how he is in bed…?” “I umm…” Beth stuttered. “Have you asked your mom for advice on this yet?” She asked her Beth had a soft, squishy stress ball toy on her desk that she threw at her friend. Or rather, tried to! “Young lady, this is not how you should treat your friends!” Rachel suddenly appeared in the middle of them with the ball in her hand. “Rachel, she’s my friend, and she is okay with it.” Beth watched Rachel look at Livy, “Even if you are okay with such shenanigans, they’re not going to happen. Your mother would not approve,” she said. “I’m pretty sure she’d be fine with it, actually,” Beth told her. “We can call her if you want?” “Fine!” Suddenly, a dialing sound came from an unseen speaker, and her mom appeared as a hologram. “Hi Beth, what’s going on?” “What’s going on, Mrs. Sylvester is that your daughter says you wouldn’t mind if she’s throwing things inside at her friend.” Beth’s mom had a shocked look on her face that matched her daughter’s, “What did she throw?” “My soft stress squishy ball at Livy, Mom, this thing with Rachel is not working out! She even messed with my alarm clock this morning, so I overslept since she thought I stayed up too late last night! I’m an adult; I don’t need a nanny!” Her mom suddenly burst out laughing. Beth frowned as her mom devolved into tears before eventually controlling herself, “We’ll fix this, Beth.” “Please?” She asked her mom. “Rachel, what age are you currently treating Beth as?” “Mostly seven, Mrs. Sylvester, other than her bedtime that I let her extend due to her studying?” “Why do you believe she is seven?” She asked. Beth glared at the now giggling Livy. “That’s what she must be based on her height?” “Rachel, Beth is nineteen years old and an adult.” “That’s not what the scans show?” “Beth, you may need to call Amanda to fix this…?” “Really?!?” Beth asked. “It could be worse, sweetie?” She said. “I could be on her side?” Beth blushed at that. For the next hour, Amanda soon joined in via a holographic call and remote login on the holographic nanny. “This isn’t how I set her up, Addy,” Amanda told her. “I wonder what happened then?” her mom had asked. “I don’t know… I’m going to put some more security in here, and I’m putting safeguards in here for you, Beth, to where you can override anything by saying your override code.” “Thanks,” she told her. “You’re welcome; sorry about this!” “No, I’m sorry to kill part of your evening here,” Beth said. Rachel eventually stood down and disappeared. Livy gave her a lot of crap about the nanny from Hell before going to her room to study while Beth resumed her own. IT WAS JUST about an hour after our lights-out time when Miss Lilly appeared. “Hi, boys, I’m Miss Lilly! Your nest mommy told me she needed me to come by, so I’m here to get you ready for beddy-bye.” I blushed at the babying talk from the girl I swam with each day but closed down what I was working on. We’d been assigned a small locker where I locked away my computer, tablet, goggles, and other items, hoping it would be somewhat safe. It was keyed somehow to my biometrics through my hand in a way that was more advanced than fingerprint scanners back home. Lilly looked at me and said, “Connor, why don’t you go potty while I get these other boys ready?” “Yes, Miss Lilly,” I told her. I walked to the bathroom and completely emptied my bladder and bowels. I had brought my bathroom caddy inside with me. I was grateful; it seemed like no shenanigans had occurred with it, at least! Lilly was still in the middle of putting Wyatt’s diaper on him when I came out. I was about to get a water bottle when I noticed all the ones I had brought from Grandma’s were tampered with! ‘Was it them or someone else?’ I wondered. I had a travel mug with me that I quickly ran, filled up with some water, and drank what I hoped would be safe water from the tap. Finally, I watched Lilly place Wyatt on the ground with a diaper pat, and she said, “Last but not least, you baby boy.” I blushed but held off complaining since, other than knowing I could swim better than her, I knew nothing about Miss Lilly. Other than her love of swimming matched mine! She picked me up and sat me down on the changing table. “Stick ’em up!” She said while pointing a fake finger gun at me. “Huh?” “Arms up,” she said with a shake of her head. “Normally, I tell my girls arms up like a ballerina, but I figured a boy would prefer the stick ’em up?” “Oh,” I said, complying, and she pulled the shirt off my head. She pushed me down onto the table and pulled the strap across my chest that I didn’t remember Mackenzie using the last several days. I sat still as she pulled my pants and socks off and momentarily left me sitting in the Pull-Up. “These are so cute!” she smiled at me, pointing at the Pull-Up. “And I can’t believe you keep them dry!” I blushed and shrugged. “Not getting much out of you tonight?” Without warning, she started tickling me for a moment. “Stawwwp,” I said. When she did, she said, “Huh, still dry! What a good boy! None of my girls would be dry after that!” I blushed, “You have a girl’s nest?” She nodded, “Yes, otherwise I’d be finding some way to claim you away from Miss Mackenzie!” I just stayed silent, even as my skin was approaching the color of a beet. Lilly ripped the sides open on the Pull-Up, and I watched her hold it up to inspect it before shaking her head. She grabbed whatever that sensor was from the front of it. She placed it on the table before asking, “What diaper does Miss Mackenzie normally put on you, little guy?” I pointed up, “It’s a regular baby diaper? There should be a cubby with my name on it?” “Right!” She said, “I forgot Mackenzie is one of the super organized mommies here!” “Every nest isn’t like that?” I asked. She blushed, “No, I just have packages of diapers up there by size. Almost all of my girls need bigger diapers than you, though!” That made me blush with the reminder of how tiny I was. She grabbed a diaper and showed it to me, “This one, right?” I nodded, “Yes.” “It’s so cute that you fit into these! My sister just had a baby a few months ago! I think you’re wearing the same size!” I sat passively as my legs were lifted and the diaper placed beneath me. My emergency babysitter wasted no time adding baby powder, rubbing it in, and cooing, “My girls don’t show me they like this as much as you do!” I wanted to die then! When she had taped the diaper closed, she found a green and yellow footed sleeper in my bin and dressed me in it. “Let’s braid that hair for sleep really quick!” I was grateful that the others seemed already knocked out in their pods as she carried me to my pod area. “Where’s your hairbrush?” I grabbed a purple one I usually used and handed it to her. “Purple, huh?” “It was a present from my baby sisters,” I told her honestly. “Huh,” she said while picking me back up. Once I was in her lap in the chair, she started brushing my hair and seemed much more practiced than Mackenzie. “You take very good care of your hair, I think!” “I try? My moms’ wouldn’t let me keep it long if I didn’t.” Right then, she stopped brushing mid-stroke, “Is it true that Stacy Westerfield is your mom?” I nodded, “Yes?” “Small world,” she whispered. “Huh?” “My mom met your mom once,” she told me. “Oh? What’s your mom’s name?” “Kylie Desmonde,” she said, “I’m not sure if the encounter was enough, though, that your mom would remember her name.” “I’ll ask anyway sometime!” I said with a smile. She resumed brushing my hair, and soon, it was braided into a loose sleep braid that I knew was sure to leave it curlier the next day. I didn’t care, though, as she placed me in the pod, and I went to lie down. Once again, I didn’t sleep right away. That meant I was still running through the day’s events when Mackenzie reappeared with Dean Northrup in tow. They came in, and I carefully observed them with one eye open. I didn’t have to wonder long what was up because they woke up Grayson and carried him out of the room. He woke up enough that even through the soundproof pod, I could tell he was wailing and crying. I did the math then and realized that assuming none of them returned, we were down to just four of us in our nest! ‘Hopefully, I don’t have to worry about more people messing with my stuff,’ I thought worriedly. ‘I wonder if there was anyone else involved?’ I grabbed the griffin and decided to name her Kylie, ‘I like the name, and it’ll help me remember to ask Mom about her!’ She seemed to like the name as far as I could tell, but more importantly, I found comfort in cuddling her and hoped no one was messing with my brain on that! BETH WAS GRATEFUL that Rachel had disappeared until she climbed into her bed. “I am sorry about earlier, Miss Sylvester,” she said to her. “Please don’t do it again, and I’ll consider it forgotten, Rachel?” “Thank you,” she said to her. “Doctor Westerfield helped me understand my true purpose is just to protect you. I’ll make sure I stick to that purpose!” “Thank you,” Beth said, climbing underneath the covers. “May I tuck you in still?” Beth shrugged, “Sure.” The AI looked genuinely happy as it pulled the covers up to her neck and patted her on the shoulder. “Goodnight,” she said. Beth closed her eyes and wondered, not for the first time in her life, just how sentient AIs like Rachel really were. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Thank you for reading!!! I am so glad that I am in diapers because I know I belong in them and I know I am an adult baby. I'm not afraid to say and admit I belong in diapers.1 point

I am like that as well. At home, I am strictly in a diaper a a t-shirt. That's cause as adult babies, babies are not allowed to hide their diapers and diapers can be checked by any adult, grown-up, or a big kid. Besides, babies like me never know if we leak or poop. In bed, I am strictly in just a diaper. When I am out of the house it's just a diaper and regular clothes. Although I do prefer to be in a diaper, t-shirt, t-shirt dress, or onesie.1 point

Yep. I started wearing my footie sleepers this week. During the summer it’s just a onesie over my diaper in my crib but now it’s back to footies from now until April/May for bedtime. It’s still warm enough during the day for shorts over my diapers but it will soon be cozy sweat pants over diapers time. I love fall! 🎃🇨🇦🍁1 point

I've been thinking about this story, its complicated. The current plot with the sleepover is interesting, but I'm just commenting on the whole thing. A lot of the comments are upsetting. excited for the possibility of cps getting involved. thats no different then hoping Sarah ends up in diapers permanently. Because it's just covering up the symptoms not solving it the problem. Sarah doesn't try and get help. She refuses it and is stubborn. She tries to pretend the problem doesn't exist or cover it up. The thing is, so is her mother, not surprising where she gets it. Sarah and her mother both don't trust others to help, but neither of them have the solution to the cause of the problem. But her mother isn't all bad. She does punish the wrong way, but Sarah at least understands consequence. thats something a lot of people don't get these days. for a single mom, shes holding the family together petty good i think. Not like their starving or anything. Sarah's mom needs help just like Sarah needs help. It's good that Sarah has Lisa as a friend because that's the only person to reach her. I think I know already that Sarah's mom will never have someone to reach her and help her. But like, i see a bunch of comments hoping for cps. Cps won't reach or help the mom. They just do what she does and go for punishment for breaking rules instead of trying to find the cause of the problem. It's sad people would rather her be out of the picture entirely than for her to realize how she's effecting her kid's and change so she can be the mom they need. Punishments and discipline aren't only bad, but you can't do only that1 point

Sometimes being an adult baby, I can never relate to adults, grown-ups, and big kids. They are potty trained and I am not and I am kept in diapers.1 point

Wonderful! It was fantastic to see another chapter so soon. I can definitely understand why Patrick would have been upset in these circumstances. First there have been a lot of big changes in his life recently. The incident with Redge, then the introduction of Samantha and Lloyd. Not to mention that he was put back in diapers again after managing to avoid them even after becoming paralyzed. Second it had to be hard to see all of his friends make some significant improvements while he hasn’t experienced the same improvement. I think Addy once again handled him just right. It has to be pretty hard on her being that she wants to have Patrick for herself. Especially when she has to bring other caretakers in to be with him. I think that Samantha is looking better for Patrick all the time. Personally, I would still like to see her and Lloyd get together and take care of Patrick as a couple.1 point

Wow what a special treat. Another chapter so soon. This was another superb chapter. Momma isn’t messing around anymore. Force her to act and be treated as a six year old all weekend? That’s harsh! I can’t wait to see what she decides.1 point

I'm glad you like the story. I actually took inspiration from a popular roleplay on here called Kayla's Roommates. I kept some of the elements I liked, and added some ideas of my own (some that you'll see later), found a guy who wanted to play the baby, and took off from there. I actually didn't know which direction we would go with him: diapered college boy or turning him into a baby. It kind of just got decided one day. The first time I wore 24/7 was in my dorm room that I had to myself. Freshman year I didn't have a car so I took the bus to go buy diapers. I would hide them in my backpack. I got kicked out a couple times, but I won my appeals. Lol this could have been me. Feel free to inbox me your feedback. (That goes for anyone). It's my first time doing a story like this. I want to see what people like, and where I can make improvements1 point

Wow... dirty pool indeed, but fitting! It would do her some good actually though. I like the idea of her having more playdates to have to learn how to actually be a kid.1 point

In less than ten minutes, the fire in front of their campsite was roaring to life. “Thank you for setting this up for us.” Jennifer said as she stepped out of the tent in dry clothes. “Oh, it wasn’t me.” Brian said, holding up his hands. “One of your girls had it handled already.” Jennifer immediately looked to her blind folded daughter, who sat cross legged on the ground a few feet away. “The older one, of course. I would have stopped the little one. Hazel gets into things she shouldn’t all the time, can’t take your eyes off them for a minute.” Her gaze flicked to Hortensia, who gave her a knowing smirk. Jennifer audibly gulped. “Oh, I can start a fire juuuuust fine.” Hortensia said, a mischievous glint in her eyes. Maybe she would have preferred if it was Matilda. She wasn’t sure she liked the idea of the Queen of Mischief knowing how to set fires. A memory of the school office needing to be evacuated from smoke flashed through her mind. Jennifer narrowed her eyes. “What’s that look for?” “I think i’ve just discovered the identity of a certain school pyromaniac.” Jennifer said. “That wasn’t me!” Hortensia scoffed. “Like i’d let myself get caught. That was all Bogtrotter.” “Uh-huh, and Bruce was in the girls restroom because…?” “He’s a…crossdresser?” Hortensia offered up. Jennifer shook her head. She’d deal with her later. “Well he’s already got tits.” Hortensia patted her mosquito bite sized chest. “They're bigger than mine.” “So, both your girls are a handful?” Brian asked with a grin. Jennifer smiled back and shook her head. “Only one of them is mine.” She forked her thumb over towards Matilda. “A handful and a half, really. Don’t let her size fool you.” “I see your girl and raise you two boys.” “Did their mother not want to come?” Jennifer asked. She saw a flicker of pain cross his face, and she wished she hadn’t said anything. He began to stroke his ring finger where there was an indentation on his skin of a previously worn ring. “She died last year.” He said softly. “Oh, I’m so sorry.” Jennifer said. He waved her condolences away. “What about you? Where’s her father at?” “My biological parents aren't in my life anymore.” Matilda interjected. He gave Jennifer a puzzled look. “I adopted her.” Jennifer explained. “It’s just her and I. Well, and Hortensia for the time being while we wait for her mom’s situation to calm down.” “Oh, so you’re like a foster mother.” He said with a grin. She smiled. “Well, I never intended to foster this one.” She said with a nod towards Matilda. She wrapped her arms around her waist and pulled her closer while Matilda let out a startled yelp. “I never intended to give her back, even if they came knocking.” “Can I take the eye patches off now?” Matilda whined. “I want to see the fire and cook my own hot dog.” “Hold that thought.” Jennifer said as she stood up from the ground, wincing as she did so. This would be such a nice evening if her butt wasn’t so itchy. “Eye drops first, and I’ll see how their looking. If they still look too irritated you’ll have to keep them on.” “What? No!” Matilda complained, getting to her feet. “The smoke is only going to irritate them further.” “What happened to your eyes?” Hazel, Brian’s six-year-old daughter asked. Brian tried to chastise her for being nosey but Matilda spoke up. “I strained them.” Matilda mumbled. “I got too photosensitive earlier and couldn’t keep them open.” Hazel gave her a look between pain and confusion. “What’s pho-to-sen-si-tive?” She asked Brian, sounding out every syllable as if that would make it make sense. “It means she’s sensitive to the light.” Brian said. “Sometimes people get headaches when it’s too bright. You remember how mommy used to get headaches and have to lie down in the dark?” “Oh.” Hazel said. “You have cancer too?” She asked Matilda, who shook her head and frowned. Another pained look crossed Brian’s face. She had clearly divulged too much information. Jennifer chose that moment to come collect Matilda. “Let me have a look before the sun goes down.” Jennifer peeled one of the patches up and had a look, before doing the same for the other. “They still look irritated.” “I’m fine, really!” Matilda explained. “A few more eye drops and i’ll be back to normal.” Jennifer sighed. “Alright, but the moment they start to burn, you better put those patches back on. Can I trust you with that?” “Yes, fine.” Matilda said, taking the bottle from Jennifer’s hand and administering the drops herself. She blinked her eyes rapidly before moving to the next eye and doing the same. She tried to hand the bottle back but Jennifer insisted she keep it with her. They returned to the fire but Jennifer could clearly see her struggling to keep her eyes open. “Matilda, if the fire’s too bright for you, maybe you should sit somewhere else.” Jennifer said. “We can play with the football instead.” Hortensia offered from her conversation with Nick and Zack, foam ball already in hand. Matilda and Hazel both stood up to join them, but Brian’s voice stopped them. “Hazel, not you. Please stay with me and let the big kids have their fun.” He said. Hazel pouted but sat. Matilda was halfway out of the camp before Jennifer decided to stop her as well. Would she look like a bad parent if she let Matilda join them? “You too, Matilda.” She spun on her heel and gave Jennifer a disbelieving look. “My little one always wants to join the big kids too.” Brian said, as if Matilda was just another little kid about to get in the way. “HEY, PLEASE BE GENTLE WITH HER! DON’T TACKLE HER!” “Oh, I’m more worried about Hortensia hurting them.” Jennifer gave a dark chuckle. “Mom…” Matilda said. “You can’t be serious. It’s a foam football, it’s not even that hard synthetic leather.” “Why don’t you play with Hazel here?” Jennifer offered. “We can play with my Polly Pocket.” Hazel said, pulling a pink heart shaped box from her pocket and held it up. Matilda looked at Jennifer with a look that said “please, save me.” “Use your imagination, Matilda. You can act out a scene from one of those stories you like to write. You know, the ones you keep in your desk .” Matilda’s face turned a shade red and Jennifer winced. Perhaps she hadn’t been meant to read them, but she had found them quite good, and much sillier than what Matilda normally showed her of her work. She had a series going about a six-year-old Pediatrician Jennifer had found rather amusing, especially in a particular scene when the main character in question diagnosed a certain teen boy named Michael with worms because he was, at thirteen, still “retarded enough to eat sand from his elementary school’s sandbox, which he had still not graduated from.” At which point his parents admitted they all ate sand. She was clearly still harboring some resentment, but Jennifer was relieved to find she had found a more creative outlet than smearing fecal matter on the walls. “How old are you, Matilda?” Brian asked with a frown. Jennifer noticed he suddenly looked worried. “Six.” His frown deepened even more at this answer. He looked to Matilda, then to Hazel, and then gave a desperate glance to Jennifer. His look confused her. Was he pleading for them to play together or not? “Sorry?” she asked. He dropped his eyes and gave a sad smile. “No, I’m sorry, I don’t know what I’m doing half the time.” He said, waving a hand through his hair before stopping and pulling a pair of sunglasses off his head. “Matilda, would these help?” Jennifer saw her eyes go wide and a look of appreciation crossed her face. “Yes! Please, thank you so much!” She accepted them eagerly and slid the oversized glasses on. Jennifer chuckled at the large aviator glasses on her small face. “I can see!” she cheered and raised her fists into the air. “We can play by the fire now if you want.” Matilda said to Hazel as they settled themselves across from their parents. They played contentedly until it was time for dinner, Jennifer only having to stop Matilda twice from giving Hazel’s dolls mortal, and oddly specific, wounds and illnesses. This family didn’t need to be reminded of death. When the older kids huddled in they took turns roasting hot dogs over the fire, passing prongs as Jennifer had only enough for three. Matilda told the boys about the comic Hortensia and her planned to write together, with Matilda authoring and Hortensia illustrating. The boys seemed interested, but Jennifer could see Brian slump out of the corner of her eye. In fact, his mood seemed to sink lower and lower throughout the evening. Jennifer frowned. She thought they were all getting along quite well for people who had just met. The evening was quite enjoyable, except for the nearly inescapable urge to stick her hand down her pants. She audibly chuckled before covering her mouth in embarrassment, face turning red. She couldn’t believe she had just thought that sentence into existence. “Something you want to share with the class?” Matilda asked. Jennifer adamantly shook her head and squirmed against the ground before bursting into giggles. She had to say something. “My butt itches.” she admitted to the laughter of the group. “You-you have to tell them why!” Hortensia said, nearly tipping over. “Go on, go on, do it or I will.” “Hey, what happened to female comradery?” Jennifer said, feigning heart ache before hanging her head. “Go on, tell them. I can’t do it.” “So I was sitting outside sketching for our comic. I hear this high pitched scream, I look up and see my school's headmistress bare arse come streaking by and she practically belly flops into the water.” Jennifer groaned into her closed fist as the group erupted into laughter. “It gets better! It gets better! The reason? She pissed on a fire ant hill! And they sought revenge!” “Yes, that’s quite the story telling, thank you for that.” she said with a wince between embarrassed chuckles. “Hortensia wet my bed last night with me in it.” Matilda said through gales of laughter. The chuckling subsided, except for Hazel, Zach and Nick. Jennifer was on her feet the moment Hortensia was. And there it was. There was that rage she had heard so much about. “Go! Walk it off! Walk it off!” She pushed against Hortensia’s shoulders. “She… she just!” Hortensia screamed, red faced, spit flying a vein pulsing on the side of her head. She looked angrier than Jennifer had ever seen a child. “I know, I know she did. She doesn’t understand these things yet.” She said softly and held her hands up in surrender. “Stop making excuses for her! She knows fucking everything!” “Let me deal with her, please. Take a lap and try to calm down.” “I’m gonna-” “Don’t finish that sentence.” Jennifer warned. Hortensia let out an angry grunt and stormed away. Matilda sat still looking shell shocked and shaken. “But…but I thought we were telling funny stories?” She looked to Jennifer for confirmation, but she shook her head and sighed. “No Matilda, there’s a big difference between the story she told and the story you told.” Matilda creased her brow in confusion. It was an unfamiliar look for her. “Matilda, I told her she could tell that story. I gave her permission. You’ve really gone and embarrassed her in front of everyone.” She watched Matilda’s face fall. “I should apologize.” Matilda said, getting to her feet. “Not right now you're not. Do not go looking for her.” Jennifer said firmly. “Why not?” Matilda asked. “She’s either having, or about to have, one of her fits.” “What fits?” Jennifer shook her head. Hortensia had never been in Jennifer’s class, so she hadn’t witnessed them first hand, but she had heard stories from the other teachers. The last time this had happened it had taken three adults to hold her down, and one had walked away with a black eye and a bloody, swollen lip. She wasn’t notorious so much for her pranks, it was her rage attacks. According to her file, it was what had gotten her expelled from her last school. It was the reason Jennifer had been so hesitant to let Matilda around her and why she had jumped to conclusions when Matilda had gotten hurt. Here she had been starting to think it was all a bunch of nonsense, but that look on her face… She looked like she was about to tear Matilda to pieces if Jennifer hadn’t stepped in when she had. It was a good thing she had been paying close attention. A sudden thought struck her and she was reminded of Carol’s story of the out of control girl thrashing about and screaming in her closet. Tonight's episode had only further validated Mrs. Rodger’s version of events. “Just leave her be, she’ll come back when she’s ready and you can apologize then.” Jennifer said before eying her daughter. “And you better make it a good one.” Matilda sank lower into the ground. Sensing that the fun was over, the boys stood and went back to resuming their game of catch. Jennifer turned her attention back to Brian and frowned at his lost expression. “Is everything all right?” “I’ve never really spent much time with another girl Hazel’s age, playdates were my wife’s thing.” He said in hushed tones so the girl’s wouldn’t hear. Jennifer nodded her head to show she was listening. “I know this is off topic, but, is she…is she behind?” he asked, worry evident in his voice. Jennifer frowned and watched Hazel for a moment. “Not that I’ve seen, but I haven’t spent much time around her. Did something happen to make you worry?” “Well, it’s just, I’ve been watching Matilda and in comparison Hazel seems…” The light clicked on in Jennifer’s head. She was so used to Matilda, it didn’t feel unusual anymore to hear her larger vocabulary. Surely he must have suspected something when he heard Matilda diagnose one of his daughter's dolls with “encephalitis lethargica”. “No, no, no.” Jennifer said, waving her hands in a panic. “Matilda is the exception, not the rule. You really can’t use her as a baseline.” Brian seemed to mull this over in his mind. “So it’s okay that she isn’t reading and writing fluently yet?” “Yes, absolutely. I’m a year one teacher, well I was, but yes, my students aren't picking up novels or writing stories.” He seemed to let out his breath and relax at this. “Typically, children her age are learning to read, write and spell basic words.” “Well, I mean I picked up that she might be a little ahead of her peers, but then she said that, and it seemed pretty on par with her age, so I was confused.” Jennifer gave him a tight lipped smile. Matilda was more than a little ahead. “She excels in almost everything, except for tact and dexterity.” Jennifer admitted. “There’s just some things you can’t learn from a book. ” She watched Hazel for a few more minutes before leaning over. “I don’t think you have anything to worry about. She seems on par with all my other students. I’m not trying to show off, but I think you need to understand something.” She stood up and fetched Hortensia’s notebook before tearing off a page. She picked up a pen and handed it to him. “Come up with a math problem and solve it, but don’t say what it is out loud.” Brian raised an eyebrow, but Jennifer urged him on. Finally, she watched as he wrote 27 times 13 and worked out the answer. “Now ask her.” “Seriously?” Jennifer nodded. “Uh, what’s 27 times 13?” “351.” Matilda responded without pausing or looking up from the dolls. He eyed Jennifer suspiciously. “You’re messing with me.” He said. “You can do something harder if you’d like.” He narrowed his eyes before dipping his head and began to scribble down numbers. Finally, after a minute he looked up. “Turn around and face the tent first.” He said. “So I know you two aren’t pulling something on me here.” Matilda shrugged and turned around. “2,876 DIVIDED by 253.86.” “11.33, if we’re rounding up to the nearest 100th place, if not, 11.329079.” “I thought I was having a stroke when I first met her.” Jennifer admitted with a laugh as he saw the shock etched on his features. “Showed up to class with a copy of Wuthering Heights and threw a fit when I tried to confiscate it.” She cleared her throat. She was toeing the line between explaining and bragging. “Anyway, I just wanted to show you don’t have anything to worry about. Matilda isn’t a good baseline.” “I see. What grade is she in?” “Ah, that’s kind of complicated, really. She was technically in year one, but I was giving her work to do from the other classes. It’s how they wrangled me into this new position. I ran out of coursework. They’re in the process of adding a high school and they offered to let me keep tutoring her privately if I agreed to be the new headmistress for the primary school. The school has a bit of a negative reputation so I think they were struggling to fill it in time. I’m sure they’ll find someone more fitting by next year and I can go back to working with the little ones.” “A bad reputation? What school are you teaching at?” “Crunchem Hall.” “Isn’t that the school for all the bad kids? Ah, I see what you mean.” “It really isn’t. I mean, yes, some of them have been expelled before. I only know of three off the top of my head, but their good kids. The reputation is because of the old headmistress. She was a vile woman who didn’t tolerate anything or anyone stepping a single toe out of line. I want to change that. School shouldn’t be a place of fear.” “Was she really that bad?” “She’d strip search us and throw us in a box in her office with nails and glass sticking out.” A voice said. Everyone turned to find Hortensia standing a few feet away. Jennifer jumped to her feet and slowly approached her. “Are you feeling better?” She asked as calm as possible. Jennifer could see her bloodshot eyes from the light of the fire. Hortensia didn’t respond, but instead looked away and shrugged her shoulders. “Do I need to separate you two tonight?” Before she could respond, a blur ran past her and tackled Hortensia in a bear hug. “I’m really really sorry I said that!” Matilda said into the front of her t-shirt. Jennifer let out a panicked yelp as Hortensia raised a fist. Jennifer sprung forward to yank Matilda away, but was surprised when it lowered and returned her embrace in a one armed hug. Jennifer was more than surprised. She was stunned. All those adults couldn’t stop Hortensia’s rampages… “Please say you’ll still be my friend. I can’t take any more Polly Pocket!” Matilda moaned. Jennifer tugged Matilda back by the arm. She had been trying to devise a suitable punishment. Hortensia was right, she couldn’t keep making excuses for her. She was never going to learn if Jennifer kept brushing off every mishap as, “It’s her condition.” She didn’t even know for sure if she had a condition. It was time to put her foot down and be a mother. “Brian, would you be interested in getting together again tomorrow?” Matilda raised an eyebrow as if to ask “When had you gotten so bold?” “Uh, yes, please, that would be nice. With the kids, right?” “Yes, and would you mind calling the boys in? I’d like a word with everyone regarding my daughter’s behavior.” Matilda’s face faltered. “But I wasn’t trying to be mean, I really thought-” Matilda started to say but Jennifer held up a hand to stop her. “Matilda, you want to be treated as an adult so I’m going to give you an adult lesson. In the real world, when you damage something, whether you intended to or not, there’s consequences. It’s called paying restitution. That’s what you’re going to have to do for Hortensia. You’ve broken her trust and hurt her, so now you’re going to have to pay her.” She could see the older girl's head pique in interest. “I don’t have any money.” Matilda said. “And I already apologized.” “Saying ‘sorry’ doesn’t work in the adult world, and I’m not telling you to pay with money.” She could see Hortensia’s shoulders deflate at the news that she wouldn’t be getting a monetary payout. “You’ll be paying with your pride.” “I don’t understand.” Matilda said slowly. The boys came in and looked for the cause of their game's interruption. “You’re going to tell the group a story about a certain little girl who was too stubborn to ask for help before she ventured into a corn maze.” Jennifer said. Matilda’s eyes went wide with panic. “No, please, not that!!” Matilda begged. “Everyone’s waiting…” Jennifer said. “I’ve gathered them just for you.” Matilda’s eyes began to well with tears and her voice cracked with emotion. “No!” She begged before letting out a choked sob. “Or…” Jennifer said. Matilda’s head shot up. “You’ll be grounded starting now until we get back home.” “Grounded! Grounded! Please!” “Don’t you want to know the terms?” Jennifer asked. She turned to Brian. “This is where I’m going to need your help. Hazel’s help, really.” The little girl looked up with interest at hearing her name. “I need her as a baseline to help Matilda.” She looked back to her daughter. “Tell the story, or you’’ll be spending the rest of the trip acting, talking, and being treated as a six-year-old.” Matilda looked at her confused. “But I am a six year old?” “Daddy, we’re the same age!” Hazel cheered. I remember during the COVID era when people were so scared of bathrooms that people wore diapers to avoid them and to avoid being in contact with germs from those who may have come down with COVID.1 point

Another thing. Once you let it out to anyone who you do not NEED to know specifically, you do not know where it will travel to from there. Also, what happens if you two have a nasty falling out? I used to have a wall sign of my own that read "CAUTION: Be sure brain is engaged before putting mouth in gear" In the development of the fetus, the frist two orafices that develop, and this is simultanious, are the mouth and the anus: DON'T confuse them! You could end up in deep shit!!1 point

I'm very curious where MW is taking us. In the most recent update, he has completely abandoned the story with the mother, but his plot is strong enough that I expect the sleepover to connect somehow with mom. Obviously, the biggest thing to happen in the sleepover is the discovery that Samantha wants to wear diapers, which is something can understand. At this point, I'm just happy that MW hasn't abandoned the story. Every update is refreshing.1 point

@Diaper Duck As everyone has been telling you, take it slow and take it easy. Is not something that you want to do overnight, and you need to be ready for it. As I've said before going 24/7 in diapers is going to be a life changing experience, and you'll have to alter your life to make sure you have what you need when you need it to be able to make the changes. Means that you will have to have your diapers, and everything you need including your disposal bags and your diaper disposal system. Make sure that you are deodorizing it and making sure your bathroom smells good too, 'cause you don't want anyone to walk into a bathroom that smells like stale pee or poop. I've learned that from experience. We use this disposal bags to be able to take care of the scent that is being admitted from your diapers. You get everything that you have set up, and you have your system working the way you want it, it makes it a lot easier and you won't even have to think about it, you just do it, and when you have an accident or when you use your diaper you just do it and you don't even think about it. It is as normal as taking a shower or walking across the room, and it's so easy after a while you won't even be worried about it nor think about it. And as I've said before, no one should really notice or care that you're wearing diapers while you are moving around doing whatever it is. You just don't want to have a situation where you're overloading your diaper and then you leak through your protection and you end up with wet spots on your pants. That could be problematic, but it hasn't happened to me on a few occasions so don't be afraid if it does. People are not out there to look to see if you're wearing diapers and they shouldn't be concerned. What you need to do is do what you think is best for yourself and not worry about what other people think or believe. You can trust certain people to tell them what's going on, that's your decision and your call, but be very careful who you tell what to because it can fly right back to your front door then you have a big mess to clean up! Good luck and keep us advised! 😁😁 Brian1 point

Somewhere in the middle. I am not specifically trying to have my diaper uncovered, but generally prefer not to have too many layers on, so my average around-the-house wear is a onesie with a diaper underneath.1 point

LOL 😆 at all these responses! Now I'm going to be conscious of how I look when I pee in public 🤣 It's great fun to just be able to let go whenever the urge arises!1 point

Waking up in a diaper is among the best feelings. No leaks and you know the day is going to be great! Now, how long do I stay in bed?1 point

Chapter 46: Lisa’s Sleepover Part 2: Confessions Samantha and Desi were both still clearly wearing diapers under their pajamas when I returned to the bedroom. Lisa had offered to help with telling Samantha and Desi about my bedwetting and bladder issues, and I had gladly taken her up on it. I didn’t have the slightest clue about how I was supposed to begin explaining it to them. After our talk out on the porch, Lisa had gone back inside a few minutes before me. She’d asked me to give her about five minutes, so I counted to three hundred in my head as steadily as I could. I’d promised her that I would come back in and face my friends, whatever their reactions might be, and there wasn’t going to be any backing out of that. Now that I was back in the bedroom, I shuffled my feet awkwardly just inside the doorway. I couldn’t even bring myself to make eye contact with anyone. Then Samantha rushed forward and embraced me in a massive hug, with Desi joining in a second later, while Lisa took a step back and watched. None of us said a word, but any words were completely unnecessary at the moment. I knew exactly what their hugs meant, and so did they. I didn’t think I could even begin to find the words to describe the immense amount of relief I felt. How could I possibly have thought this was going to have turned out any differently? That wasn’t to say I wasn’t still feeling embarrassed, but the sense of dread that had been building up was no longer there. “You doing alright? Desi asked. “Yeah, I think so.” I rested my head on Samantha’s shoulder, not wanting our group hug to end. “So, um, Lisa told us everything,” Samantha said. “I know. I asked her to help tell you.” “You really are still wetting the bed?” This interrogation is what I’d hoped to avoid by having Lisa explain my situation to Samantha and Desi for me. I should have realized that they were still going to have a bunch of questions. “Lately it’s been pretty much every night.” “How on earth did you manage to get through the last sleepover without us noticing?” Samantha asked. “I have this one easy trick to avoid wetting the bed.” “What’s that?” “Not falling asleep in the first place. I pulled an all-nighter to avoid having any accidents at that sleepover. Mom wasn’t impressed with how tired I was the next day.” I didn’t mention how I’d borrowed a pull-up from Samantha’s younger brother to wear as a precaution that night. “I should have figured that something was up with you during the day, though, when you started to go to the bathroom a lot more frequently between classes,” Desi said. “Obviously, I knew something was off, but I didn’t have a single clue that you were wearing pull-ups or having accidents in them.” I guess Lisa did mean it when she said that she was going to tell my other two friends everything. “I’m impressed,” Desi said. “No really, I am. I can’t believe you managed to keep that a secret from us all this time.” “Being deathly scared of how you guys might react was probably part of it.” “When they do career day, you need to sign up for the FBI or CIA,” Samantha said. “Neither of us had the slightest clue.” “It wasn’t that difficult,” I muttered, feeling myself blush at her praise. “Does it make you feel a bit more comfortable having us wear the diapers with you?” Desi asked. I nodded affirmatively, and Desi sighed. “I was kind of hoping this would mean I could take them off, but I’ll wear them for tonight, but this is a onetime-only deal, you understand?” “Thanks, I appreciate it.” “With how much Mountain Dew I’ve had, wearing a diaper to bed probably isn’t the worst idea ever,” Samantha joked. “Really,” Desi said. “When’s the last time you actually wet the bed?” “Maybe a year ago,” Samantha said, to looks of incredulity on our faces. “What? It was one of those dreams where you think you are sitting on the toilet, only you aren’t. I assumed you guys get those dreams all the time.” “Nope,” Lisa said. “I pretty much just sleep through the whole night.” I stifled a yawn as I shook my head. I’d had some strange dreams the past few months, but nothing of that nature. And given the contagious nature of yawns, everyone else was soon yawning uncontrollably as well. “I think it’s time to get to sleep,” Lisa said. “I’ll grab the lights once everyone is ready.” Samantha and Desi got into their respective sleeping bags, and I settled into my half of Lisa’s bed. The lights went out with a q soft click of the switch. I didn’t know how to feel as I pulled the blankets over myself in the dark. Relief was certainly one factor. They had found out, and they didn’t care, or at least were kind enough to act as if they didn’t mind. Even with how considerate everyone had been, it was still humiliating to know that they would know about my wet diaper in the morning and know that I was still going around peeing myself on occasion. It felt as if my relationship with all my friends, Samantha, Desi, and Lisa, was at a changing point, and I didn’t know how it was all going to end up playing out. The sense of dread that had gone away earlier when Samantha and Desi had both been hugging me was now returning. It was one thing to put on a clean diaper before bed with your friends, and a whole other thing to wake up in the morning with a soaking wet diaper. And they knew about the pull-ups, so there would be no hiding that either from them going forward. My diaper was already slightly damp, and I wasn’t sure how that had happened. Well, I knew exactly what had happened. I had drunk way too much soda. Not that it mattered that much. I was used to falling back to sleep in the middle of the night in a wet diaper. It was getting too warm under the covers. I slipped off my pajama pants and let them fall off the side of the bed to the floor, and then rolled over onto my stomach. I sniffled a little as I rested my head against the pillow. I was beginning to feel the aftereffects of all the tears I had shed earlier. My head hurt. My eyes were a bit watery and itchy, and my nose was still a bit runny. I heard Lisa shift a little in bed as well. Perhaps she was also having a hard time getting any sleep. Then I felt her hand rub against mine before grasping it tightly. “Thank you for opening up to your friends today,” Lisa said in a soft whisper. “It means a lot to me.” I gripped her hand back firmly in response and was fast asleep a short while later. --- I awoke to the smell of fresh cooking pancakes wafting into the bedroom from all the way in the kitchen. “Are you going to get up for some pancakes?” I groggily rubbed my eyes. “Did someone say pancakes?” “Yes, sleepyhead, Lisa is in the kitchen making pancakes for us.” I was surprised at how well I had slept, given that it wasn’t in my own bed. I hadn’t woken up even once overnight. If I had any dreams, including ones about tempting toilets, I had no recollection of them. I blinked as I opened my eyes. Even though the lights were off, there was enough sunlight slipping in through the windows to be a nuisance. Samantha and Desi were standing off to the side of the bed. Desi had her diaper on, as it was still protruding out of her shorts. but Samantha must have taken hers off since it otherwise would have been obvious beneath her onesie. I shifted the blankets off of myself, rolled over to the edge of the bed, and then stood up. I belatedly remembered something that was kind of important. I had taken my pajama pants off last night. There was zero question about what had happened overnight in my diaper, which was wet enough that it was a bit saggy, despite how snuggly Samantha had taped it on me last night. If it was possible to die of embarrassment, I think I would have right then and there. Both of my friends looked as embarrassed and surprised as I did. I jumped right back into bed, burying myself under the covers. The shock of the embarrassment was so much that I didn’t even seem to be capable of crying. That was so stupid. How could I have forgotten that I’d taken my pajama pants off? Thankfully, neither of them sought to break the awkward silence, though that left me alone again, desperately wanting to be out of the wet diaper, but dreading the prospects of getting myself out of bed. I remained tucked under the blankets for a few minutes, listening to the footsteps indicating movement back and forth out of the bedroom, until it sounded like someone had walked back up to the bed again. A hand lifted up the edge of the blankets and reached under the sheets. Before I could get out of the way, I felt a hand press briefly against my squishy bottom. “You can come out now,” Lisa said. “Desi just hopped in the bathroom to take a shower and Samantha is watching the pancakes for a few minutes.” I slid halfway out of the blankets, keeping everything from the waist and down covered. I really must have been asleep really soundly last night, because I hadn’t even noticed Lisa get up and get changed and dressed. Lisa had chosen to be even bolder with her outfit today. She was wearing a black, pleated miniskirt with a white camisole. The top of her diaper wasn’t sticking out of the easily visible waistband from her skirt, so she must have tucked it in. The skirt was just long enough to cover her diaper while she was standing, but walking around or being in any other position was sure to make it show. “Cute outfit,” I said. “Thanks, and I get to do this,” Lisa said, giving the skirt a twirl that caused the diaper to be noticeable for a short second. That reminded me again about why I was hiding under the sheets. “Do you want me to help you get cleaned up?” “Sure.” Lisa adjusted the sheets so that there was an empty spot on top of the bed, where she laid down a blanket and motioned for me to get on top of it. Lisa cleaned me up efficiently, without saying anything further. I stared wordlessly at the ceiling as the cold wipes were slid across my bottom. That wasn’t going to wake me up as much as a cold shower, but it was close enough. I felt a tinge of annoyance when Lisa selected the thicker, black pull-up from her closet after I had specifically said the other day that I didn’t think that it would fit under my jeans but didn’t resist as she pulled it up my legs and then all the way up until it was snug around my waist. “If black isn’t your thing, you can always get those pull-ups in white or pink,” she said. “I don’t really care what color it is. The issue is this really isn’t going to fit under my jeans,” I said, as I stood up, fully cognizant of how much additional padding was between my legs. “I know,” Lisa said, headed back already to the closet. “You can wear one of my dresses with it this morning.” I watched as Lisa skimmed through a couple dozen dresses before settling on one that she seemed to approve of. “Here,” Lisa said, grabbing a floral print sundress from her closet. “This is a bit too short for me, but it should fit you well.” The dress stopped a few inches above my knees. Outside of special occasions, I hadn’t worn a dress in ages. “You look nice in a dress,” Lisa said. “Now, if you will excuse me, I’m going to go make sure Samantha isn’t burning any of my pancakes.” After Lisa left, I did some exercises in front of the mirror to see how discreet the dress was. I stretched my hands above my head and then down to my toes and then bent over as if to grab something off of the ground. The pull-up managed to stay hidden the whole time, if just barely. “How many pancakes did you burn?” I asked as Samantha wandered back into the bedroom. “None, thank you very much, and wait, that’s a new look for you.” “Lisa let me try on one of her dresses that is already a bit short for her.” The smell of pancakes was getting overwhelming now. My rumbling stomach said it was time to go and investigate. “I’ve got some with chocolate chips in them, and some with blueberries, and a few with both,” Lisa said, as I walked up beside her. “That looks delicious,” I said. “Thanks for making breakfast.” “Might want to wait until you taste them,” Lisa said. Desi strolled into the kitchen a few minutes later. “Almost done?” she asked. “Just a few more minutes,” Lisa said. “I was thinking we could go on a walk after breakfast. There’s a nature preserve a short way past our backyard. It’s usually pretty deserted. Oh, and we’ve got orange and chocolate milk in the fridge if you want to grab something to drink.” “That will be fun,” I said, pouring myself a full glass of orange juice. It felt nice to not be concerned at all about if I was going to have an accident. “Pancakes are all done,” Lisa said, pausing to look at the massive pile that had accumulated on the tray. “I think I may have overdone it.” “I don’t think that’s possible,” Desi said, as she transferred four pancakes to her plate and began to butter them. “Where’s Samantha?” Lisa asked. “I don’t know. I think she’s still in the bedroom.” “I’ll go grab her now. She must not have heard that the pancakes are done,” Lisa said. I grabbed a plate from the cupboard, added three pancakes to it myself, and was debating whether to use maple or blueberry syrup when I heard Lisa yell something from off in the bedroom. “What the hell are you doing?” I dashed over to the bedroom with Desi right on my heels. As we entered the room, Lisa was standing near the doorway, glaring down as Samantha, who was sitting on her bottom next to her open backpack with several of Lisa’s diapers in her hands and a couple more scattered on the floor next to her.1 point

part 3 Zoey was still hiccuping and sniveling as she was placed in her booster seat. She was still slightly upset about being punished, but she slowly calmed down as Danny gave her some juice and a chicken salad. "Th-thank you." Zoey sniffled one last time before eating and feeling a little better. Her bottom still stung, but the good food momentarily took her mind off that. As Zoey ate, Danny looked at his phone and checked the time. 1:43 PM. "Plenty of time," Danny mumbled to himself. "Hum?" Zoey mumbled with a mouth full of food. "Nothing, Zo, just talking to myself," Danny said with a smile. "Mho!" Zoey said with her mouth full before she swallowed it. "You're weird." She then giggled a little before going back to eating. Danny just smiled and went to his room to get some things ready. "DANNY! IM DONE!" Zoey called out so Dan could excuse her from the table. When Dan returned, he was carrying a backpack and smiled at Zoey. "Good girl. Now put your dishes away so we can get ready." Dan told her. "Ready? For what?" Zoey asked. "We're going to the park today," Danny told her. imiditly, Zoey's eyes lit up, and she practically flew off the table, tossed her dishes onto the sink, and began bouncing in front of Dan. "I want to go! I want to go!" Zoey said excitedly. Zoeandra didn't want to be in public when this arrangement was first made. She feared someone might recognize her, and everything she worked for would crash. When people talked about her, it was because she was unique in being one of the few Preas to become very successful outside of pretending to be "child" stars in movies. If her secret of liking to be Zoey was to ever get out, that is all Zoeandra would ever be known for. People barely take her seriously right now. If people found out, no one would take her seriously again. But, after a while of being stuck inside for so long, Dan suggested they see a movie. It didn't help that a "Princes in Dreamland" movie was in theaters at that time, and she wanted to see it. She had planned on waiting for the DVD, but avoiding spoilers was hard, and the offer was too great to pass up. Despite this, however, she still tried her best to hide. In hindsight, she probably brought more attention to herself by wearing a black hoodie and sunglasses on an overcast day. Dispight her best attempts of hiding herself. She tripped and fell at the theater, and her hood and glasses came off. At that moment, Zoeandra was so scared of what might happen if someone recognized her, she started crying. But as she did, a woman helped pick her up and tried to calm her down. Danny, who was getting the snacks, came rushing over to Zoey and tried calming her down. "I'm sorry, she just hurt herself," Danny told the woman as he picked her up with one arm while the other held their popcorn. Zoey then tried to hide in Danny's shoulder as she cried a bit more. "Don't worry, my little Alex was like that too when she was 5." the woman said with a smile. "But I know she will be fine, like any big girl. Won't she?" The woman was smiling as she looked at Zoey, who stopped sniveling for a moment and looked at the woman. "See, she's a big girl." the woman said with another smile." "Mom!" a girl yelled to the woman. "Come on! We're going to miss the movie!" "Coming, Alex!" the woman called back, then turned back to Zoey. "you have fun with the movie, too. Ok, sweety." And Zoey did. After that day, Danny would suggest doing something outside every now and then, and Zoey would slowly accept that no one saw her as Zoeandra. Rather it is because she looks like a little girl already, or it's because Zoeandra and Zoey's personalities are so different no one notices. Either way, it has helped Zoey love going out to play just as much as playing video games. Danny laughed as he watched Zoey trying to jump on him to take her to the park already. "Ok, little girl, we will be going soon, but first," Dan crouched down and unzipped Zoey's pajamas. "I want you to get your big girl clothes and potty for me. Zoey ran from Dan in a flash, soon came out of Dan's room with a bundle of clothes, and ran into the bathroom. Dan couldn't help but giggle and sigh as he watched her. Then he went to sit down while he waited. After a few minutes, Dan heard a flush, and a few minutes more, Zoey came running out of the bathroom in the same clothes as yesterday. The only difference was that she was now wearing a pull-up instead of a diaper, mainly because it was easier to move around while playing outside. "Let's go!" Zoey said happily. "Or we might miss the bus!" "We're not taking a bus, sweety," Dan told Zoey, who stopped bouncing. "Huh?" Zoey said, confused. The park was on the other side of town and took 40 minutes to get to by bus from Dan's closest bus stop. But nearly 2 hours of walking. Were they really going to walk that far? "Close your eyes," Dan told her, which she did as she heard Dan pull something out of his backpack, put something on her head, and listen to a buckle. When she opened her eyes and reached up, she could feel she was wearing a bike helmet. That's when Dan walked over to his bike that was set up beside the kitchen. She then noticed the little attached seat on the front of the bike and realized what that meant. "Now we can just ride my bike, and we don't have to wait for the bus," Dan told Zoey, who grew excited again and started jumping around as Dan took the bike outside. Once he was on, he picked up little Zoey and sat her in front of him on her new bike seat and handlebars. Unlike the bus that needed to make so many stops, Dan could make it to the park in just 20 minutes. And soon, they were at the park. Once there, Zoey had a lot of fun just running around and playing with everything. The slide, the swings, even a little rock wall. Dan just stood back and watched as the little girl had her fun. He also couldn't help but laugh at the idea that little Zoey was indistinguishable from any other five-year-old despite being much older than him. One that doesn't have to worry about anything in her adult life, even just for a few days. After about 2 hours, Zoey found herself playing in a sandbox with a little pail and shovel someone left behind. Dan noticed a familiar truck pull into the park as she played in the sand and smiled. "Hey, Zoey," Dan called. "Hum?" Zoey said, looking over at Dan and then to where he was pointing. Her eyes lit up, and she started to bounce. "Ice cream!" "You stay here and play while I get the ice cream," Dan told the little girl as he walked to the truck near the sandbox. As Zoey watched Dan get in line behind 3 other people, Zoey returned to playing as a few more kids came to play in the sandbox. As she played, however, she overlooked that part of her Pull-up became exposed, and one of the kids saw it. "Billy? Why is she still wearing a diaper?" one of the little kids, roughly 5, asked their older brother. The brother looked over and also saw the pull-up before Zoey had a chance to hide it. "It's because she's just a baby who can't use a toilet like a regular kid." the boy named Billy, roughly 8 or 9, told their younger sibling. "I-I am not!" Zoey told them as she blushed. "I-i just have Preas!" Zoey didn't mean to blurt that out. This was the first time anyone had made fun of Zoey since she started all of this. Most of the time, it's just adults thinking she has bladder problems or don't even bring it up if they notice out of respect. "What a Preas?" the little kid asked. "Preas are just adults who look like kids." an older brother, probably 14, told the younger. "Dad says they are nothing but babies or perverts who play with little kids." "I-I am not!" Zoey yelled at the boy. "I bet she just loves filling up that diaper like the baby she is." another boy said mockingly. Zoey was getting very mad and upset as tears formed in her eyes. She wanted nothing more than to pounce and hurt them but ran away instead. But she didn't go far. The side she tried to run to had mud beside the sandbox, and she slipped and fell into it. The boys all began to laugh as one of the younger ones ran over as Zoey tried to get up. "Since you Preas like your messy diapers so much, let me help you with that." the boy said as he scooped up some mud and pulled back Zoey's pull-up. Zoey imiditly began screaming and flailing about as the foreign mud entered her pull-up, making her feel nothing but disgust. "HEY!" Danny roared as he sprinted over and dropped the ice cream he bought. The boys all bolted from the scene when they saw the pissed-off adult running towards them. But not before Danny slid down near the mud, took a big scoop, and threw it at the boys. While he couldn't hit all of them, Danny hit the teenager and coated the back of his shirt. "FUCKING PRICKS!" Danny roared as Zoey was balling her eyes out in the mud. As gently as he could, Danny picked Zoey up and held her tonight as Zoey continued to cry. The mud on her covered his shirt as well, and he marched past a group of people who just witnessed the last of what happened. One of them even ran after the boys to call the cops on them for what they did. Sadly, they would get away. As Danny took Zoey into the bathroom, he took her to the baby changing station and laid her on top. Zoey was still crying as she looked at Danny. "It's ok, zo. Danny will make this all better. But I'm going to need you to close your eyes." Danny told her. As she did as she was told, Danny tore the pull-up open to see the giant glob of mud inside. Thankfully, he told her to keep her eyes shut as he wouldn't want to know how she would freak out if she saw a worm wiggling in the mud. Danny quickly removed the pull-up before Zoey could see it and began trying to clean Zoey as best he could. Danny cleaned Zoey's diaper area using all his wet wipes and put a new diaper on her. He even got a lot of the mud off her face and hands, but still some remained. But it was the best he could do at the moment. Zoey's crying slowed, but she was still sniffling as Danny took her off the changing table. "I-i-i w-want WILDA!" Zoey balled. Danny couldn't help but sigh and agree. Compared to him, his aunt Wilda was far more capable of handling this situation than he was right now. So, he gave her a call. It didn't take Wilda long. As she drove to the park, Danny sat on a bench holding Zoey and bouncing her on his knee as she sucked on her thumb to comfort herself. "Oh my...:" Wilda said as she saw Zoey covered in mud. "Come along. I'll take you home so you can get cleaned up and get some new clothes." Zoey nodded as she hopped from Danny's knee and headed towards the car. "Sorry about today, zo," Danny said with a sigh. Just then, Zoey spun around and hugged Danny's leg. "I-it ok. Next time, well, just play at home." Zoey told Danny as she looked up at him. Dan gave a small chuckle as he looked down at her dirty face. "Ya, we will," Dan told her as she let go of him and got into the car. After they left, Dan sighed as he rode his bike home to take off his muddy clothes. ****** "You ok?" Wilda asked Zoeandra. "Ya, I'm fine," she told her assistant with a glum look. "I'm sorry your weekend was ruined," Wilda commented. "It's fine. There is always the next one." Zoeandra commented before sighing as she looked down at her outfit. "But I don't think these stans will be coming out." "True, looks like I'll need to take little Zoey shopping for a new outfit," Wilda told her. "No, it's fine. I'll just order something online and have it…" Zoeandra was saying before a pacifier was put into her mouth. "Oh no, this is still your little weekend. And mommy here wants to see what my baby girl looks like in her new outfits before I buy them." Wilda told Zoeandra before smiling at her. Zoeandra, under normal circumstances, wouldn't let that slide. She wasn't in little Zoey mode. She was Zoeandra. She could just go home and order a new replacement outfit for herself. It would be a lot easier and less embarrassing. But as Zoeandra pulled out her pacifier, she said, "Yes, Mommy." and put it back in with a slight smile. She decided that until the day was over, she was Zoey and would let the Adults handle everything. Even if it's just for today. --------- if you liked this story, be sure to check out "Tinny intruder" for more of this world! ^w^1 point

Chapter 43: Red BETH LOOKED OVER at Connor, wondering if he knew what he might have gotten himself into by asking a girl to pick something; she realized he was being serious. Setting about to explore, she saw a comedy she hadn’t watched yet, but that Lance had taken their younger sister and brother to see over the summer, and all of them had said it was good. “How about a comedy?” “Sure,” Connor replied to her. She pressed play and climbed onto the oversized couch, noting that Amanda and Fred preferred the extra-large sizes her mom would pick out. Back home, there was a mix of furniture to accommodate her and her dad being smaller than the rest of the family. Though to be fair, Laura used the smaller couch almost as often! Connor began trying to climb up on his own, making her giggle. The couch cushion height fell just above his armpits. “Come over here, I’ll pull you up,” she told him with a smile. He blushed but made his way over and offered her his hands. She leaned over, pulled him onto the couch, and then moved him to sit right against her side. “Right! Now I have my stuffed dolphin to keep me company; let’s watch.” “What…?” Connor grumbled. For that, she couldn’t help but tickle his side a bit, discovering he was a bit ticklish. When she stopped, she hadn’t counted on his reprisal! He managed to get at her ribs where she was horribly ticklish and just kept going, “Stop,” she giggled and cried, but he kept going. Feeling like a bathroom trip was necessary, she said, “Seriously! I need to go pee, and I don’t have something on like you do!” She squeezed him tightly to control his arms. “Alright,” he said, “but you started it!” “Movie pause!” she said aloud and stood up after pushing him off her lap where he had landed. After a quick trip to the bathroom, where embarrassingly she noticed she did have a few drops in her panties, she made her way back to the couch and pulled him back to her. “Not getting away from me now,” she smiled down at him, noting his long hair was somewhat out of place. “So, what happened?” He asked as the movie started playing credits in front of them. “Someone managed to get into the computer system and convince the university I need Pull-Ups…” “That’s scary,” he said beside her. “Yes, it is… Especially…” Connor looked at her, “You don’t have to tell me; my mom told me about it already. I promise I won’t tell anyone.” Beth’s heart sank, rose, and did flip-flops all at the same time. Not knowing how else to react, she squeezed him closer to her, “Thanks.” She sighed, “Yeah, you can understand that then. Dad wants the weekend to get Emerson to figure out what’s happening.” “If there is anything I can do?” Connor offered sweetly. Looking at his hair that had come undone from the ponytail holder he was using. “Let me play with your hair while we watch?” She smiled at his blush, but the smile widened as he nodded in agreement. “Pause the movie,” she said again. “You have a brush upstairs?” He nodded, “In my backpack? Front pocket?” “Be right back!” she said. Going up to the room Connor was staying in, she couldn’t help but note that besides the slightly boyish bedding on the bed, it was one of the most sickeningly girly nurseries she’d been inside. She found Connors’s backpack sitting beside a desk. Beth opened the bag, dug through it, and found his brush before she was distracted. She saw a colorful pile of hair clips, bows, and hair ties in a small bin on top of the white changing table. It was obvious that they were older, probably vintage even, and Beth wondered who they were for? She couldn’t help herself as she grabbed a few options and headed back downstairs with them in her pocket, out of sight. “What’s with the girly room?” She asked before saying, “Play movie,” and putting Connor on her lap. “It was my mom’s,” he told her. “Your grandma never changed it?” He shook his head right as she tried to grasp some hair with the brush, “Don’t move, sweetie,” she laughed. “No, she didn’t. It’s kind of sad, creepy, and sweet all at the same time.” “Yeah,” she said. “A lot of her stuff is still there?” “That’s part of the weirdest thing, honestly,” Connor said. “I mean, she even still has clothes from her in the closet?” ‘Wonder if they would fit Connor?’ she mused as she pulled a tiny bit of tamed hair from the front of his head, deciding to have some more elaborate fun like she would with Laura’s head as some therapy even as the movie introduced the two tragically funny characters to the screen. An out-of-work businessman meets up with a mid-level programmer and decides to somehow go in on building a theme park. Or so they told investors! “How tall was she?” “She was a foot shorter than me, only about thirty-six inches,” he told her. “Seriously? That’s like infant sized?” She said in disbelief before adding, “How tall is she back home?” "After she did some tampering, she grew to an inch short of seven feet," he told her. “Grew?” She continued playing with his hair and created a very girly hairstyle he couldn’t see as the movie continued and they talked. “So, what did you do to my hair?” Connor asked, “With as much as you’ve been doing, I’m guessing I look fit to go to prom or something?” He laughed. “You’re not mad?” “Riley and my sisters do it all the time, especially when they’re upset. If it helped you, I’m fine with being your doll.” Beth hugged him tightly, turned him towards her, and placed him on her shoulder. “Thank you, Connor, you really are perfect.” She squirmed inside as she honestly wanted to kiss him, but she didn’t want to make things any more weird than they were. I STARED UP into Beth’s face and really wanted to kiss her, but she’d sent some mixed signals that night that meant I wasn’t sure if she wanted a boyfriend or a little sibling to play with. I squeezed her back, let her reposition me onto her lap, and laid my head back onto her body and between her breasts. They seemed like the perfect size, even though I knew the Bigs probably picked on her for being small-breasted. She was petite, and I hated that I had shrunk when I came through! Her arms were around me as the movie ended, and I felt the need to hit the restroom. “I need to go to the bathroom,” I told her, embarrassed. “We should probably go to bed, too,” she told me, standing up and moving me to her hip. “You know it’s embarrassing how easily you can carry and pick me up.” “My dad says that to my mom all the time!” Beth giggled. ‘Does that mean she’s open to a relationship despite our height differences?’ “They’re kind of like our difference in size, aren’t they?” She nodded as she quietly stepped up the stairs; we were sure Grandpa had already called it a night. “Our proportionate differences are pretty close, actually,” she agreed. I noticed she turned red then and wondered if that grossed her out… or if maybe she was open to it? ‘I’m certainly willing to try it!’ I thought to myself. She sat me outside my door and said, “I’m going to get settled and call it a night. See you in the morning?” I nodded, “Sure. Umm… did anyone warn you about tomorrow?” I asked. She nodded, “Your grandma prepared me for a princess celebration. I think she said I may even have my own gown given to me for it?” She smirked. “Well, given Aunt Bella probably needed all of like five minutes to make one, I bet that will be the case.” “What about you?” I shrugged, “I have no idea what’s going on. I was told I could be one of the babysitters instead of the babysat, but no idea!” She giggled, “We’ll see what the others come up with then. You and Shelby seem to get along well?” I nodded, “She reminds me of my sister Riley a lot!” “So, nothing there…?” She asked curiously. I blushed, “She’s my cousin!” I quietly hissed. She smirked, “Not biologically?” “Still… no… She’s still a little too young even if I was interested,” I reminded her, “She’s in high school still.” She nodded at that, “True.” “Anyway, I guess... goodnight, let me know if you need anything?” She bent down to my level, “Just a goodnight hug,” she smiled and hugged me before standing and walking away. I walked to my room and tried to make heads or tails of what Beth wanted! Deciding the bathroom was a wise stop; I climbed up and used the toilet. Looking paranoidly at the white fabric of the Pull-Up and was grateful that it was spotless still! BETH CLOSED THE door to her room and took the time to use the adjoining bathroom before looking at the room closer. Like Connor’s room, this was a very juvenile-looking and girly room. When Amanda showed it to her, she explained it was technically Shelby’s room they kept ready in case LPS ever stopped by. The bed made her turn completely red when she saw it, noting that it was really just a white converted crib bed. A rail was still attached that went halfway down the bed to keep the toddler from falling out of bed! After everything that day, the fact that she could see the size of the Big-size toddler bed would easily accommodate her petite frame unnerved her – a lot! She could probably have fit even if she was a foot taller, and knowing that made her fear being moved to Sanders Hall even more. Shelby’s room was covered in little tiaras, stars, and hearts in painted murals and shaped mirror pieces. It was barely a step up from toddler and somewhere around an early elementary girl’s ideal bedroom. ‘I’m honestly surprised there isn’t a canopy over the bed,’ Beth thought. She sighed, grabbed her phone from where she had left it, and noted the large number of notifications. ‘Are you okay?’ Cassie had asked. When she hadn’t responded, she’d tried calling, and Beth felt a little bad that she’d worried her. ‘I’m fine,’ she texted her. ‘My dad thought it would be a good idea to get off campus so nothing could happen while he sorts through the problems with Emerson.’ She saw a response almost immediately, ‘Thank God!!!!’ Almost immediately, a call started, and she answered it without thinking about where she was. “Beth, I thought you told me you were safe?!?” Cassie practically screeched. “I am,” she told her. “Then why are you in a Littles nursery?!?” “Oh… I’m staying with Connor’s grandparents. They’re having me stay in their granddaughter’s room.” “You’re being honest, right? If they’re telling you just to say that, just blink twice.” Beth shook her head, “Seriously, Cassie, I’m fine!” “So, what happened?!?” Cassie was clearly nervous and upset for her friend, and Beth was touched that she cared that much for her. “I got back to my room, and more boxes of Pull-Ups and diapers were stacked there.” “What?” She seethed, “I thought they understood someone was trying to set you up? That shouldn’t have been a huge deal?” She shook her head, “I thought I was just going to have to call Penelope and sort it out, but she wasn’t there. I called the on-duty RD, and they claimed those were an order that was in the right place! She insisted Penelope had been the one to order them, and it was showing in the computer system that I was required to be in them at all times now.” “What the hell?!?” Cassie exclaimed. “Yeah… My dad was talking to me when she came by to try and force me into them. He immediately got the administration involved again. After several calls, he suggested my going to Connor’s grandparents was a good idea. I quickly thought about it and took them up on the offer.” “So, is that all of it?” Beth shook her head, “No, on my way out to the car, Tracy showed up and tried to prevent me from leaving when she realized I was doing so. She somehow knew something about me being in ‘protection’ and then tried to state I couldn’t leave… I think she’s probably involved? I mean, I know she could get access to my room?” “That explains why I saw her talking with some security guys earlier?” “Yeah, I guess? I’m just waiting to see what happens.” “So, you promise me you’re really safe there?” She made a face, “I mean, that might be the most girly preschooler’s room I’ve ever seen? And isn’t that a toddler bed? Can you even…?” Beth blushed, “Unfortunately, yes, I can fit. It’s more than a little disturbing to realize I’m small enough for it, and that means a crib would not be too small either.” “I promise, I won’t let you get pulled away or adopted,” Cassie told her. “I know… and neither will my dad or mom. I’m sure they’re both ripping people apart right now.” “Well... So I guess you can work on your tiny romance then?” “Cass!!!” She hissed. The two of them talked for half an hour before Beth got her calmed down and off the phone. Messages from her parents were less urgent, and with the time change, she didn’t want to call and wake anyone up. She climbed under the tiara-covered sheets just after midnight and wasted no time getting to sleep, tightly squeezing Rings. She barely registered the door opening and closing to check on her. AFTER MY QUICK bathroom stop, I opened up my computer from home and connected it to the internet. Mom had thoroughly taught me everything she knew about computer systems in our dimension and the one I had traveled to. When she left, she retained the ability to learn about things via Grandma and others. She also ensured that the computer I brought to this dimension was more powerful than the one the university had provided me! I got busy with the photo I had taken in my pod and began researching the device. It sadly didn’t take me long to find a reference to the device as a ‘SleepTight Dome.’ I read the description and grimaced, ‘Discreet sleep training device that can be placed in cribs or beds of Littles to begin the process of adjusting them to a night of comforting sleep. Harmless subsonic soundwaves help lull the occupant into a deep sleep quickly and maintain that until disengaged. Our device scans the Little and determines when they are in their most suggestible sleep pattern before beginning to transmit a signal that travels, causing the pons center of the brain to send a signal to release their bladder. Usage of this guarantees nocturnal enuresis regularly after one to six weeks, according to studies from Emerson University’s Early Childhood Center experiments.’ I stared at the screen for a moment and grimaced, saved the information into a secure portion of my hard drive, and dug around, hoping to find out more. Unfortunately, that didn’t help me out, as I discovered there was an anti-tamper feature that would cause an annoying alarm to sound while at the same time causing a burst of the sleeping transmission. ‘They didn’t make this easy…’ I griped. There was a knock on the door, and I said, “Come in?” Even as I saved and cleared my computer back to my script. “Connor, I know you don’t have a bedtime being watched here, but maybe it would be a good time to get some sleep?” Grandma said, coming in. I nodded, “You’re probably right.” “Why don’t you hop over to the potty again, and I’ll tuck you in?” I blushed but sat my computer down and made my trip to the bathroom again. Making sure I was empty and the Pull-Up was clean, I climbed into the bed Grandma had pulled the sheets down. “Thank you for being kind to Beth tonight,” she said as she tucked me in. “Kind to her? I think it’s the other way around?” I said, confused. “I don’t think you know how close she came today to being in some real trouble Connor. I guarantee time with you helped her out a lot.” “She’s fun to be around,” I told her. “And kind of cute?” Grandma pushed. I blushed, “Maybe?” “If you’re really interested, don’t wait forever to make a move. You only have a semester here, after all!” “Grandma!” I hissed… “Uh…” She pushed me down on the bed and pulled the covers to my chin. “Good night, my little dolphin; I truly love those pajamas!” As she closed the door and turned off the light, I was sure I must have been the reddest dolphin to have ever existed! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Thank you for reading! Chapter 41: Catching Up FRIDAY CLASSES WERE much the same as Monday and Wednesday had been for Beth. She was doing her best on her lunch break to make a list of what chapters she needed to read over the weekend and what assignments she needed to do before the weekend ended. She knew that since it was the first weekend back for everyone, there would be a lot of parties going on. Still, after the last week, she intended to hunker down and watch some movies in her room with Livy and Cassie that night. She was walking back from her last Friday class to her room when she saw a pile of packages again at her door. The colorful pictures of a Tweener about her size happily giggling with her butt covered with a set of happy cartoon characters showing she was a ‘big girl’ made her wince. Not wasting time, she immediately turned to find Penelope’s room. Knocking on the door, she got no response from inside. An emergency RD number was listed beside the door, so she stood there and dialed. “Hello?” a voice asked. “Hi, my name is Beth Sylvester; I’m trying to reach Penelope?” “She’s out of town this weekend. This is Desi. I’m the RD in Escher Hall; I’m covering for her. What can I do for you?” Beth sighed, “We’ve been dealing with a problem with harassment that Doctor Barnes is also aware of. Someone ordered another batch of Pull-Ups that have been left at my door. I’m calling to report the issue and ask for it to be investigated?” “Give me one second,” she said. Beth could hear her typing, “Sorry, sweetie, that’s not a mistake; Penelope ordered those for you. “What?!?” Beth asked. “Apparently, too many people claim you’ve been having accidents in class, and we will have to require you to wear protection? You can be a good girl and wear them, or we’ll have to move you over to Wenig for more direct supervision?” “I guess I’m calling someone else. There’s definitely a mistake here since I haven’t had accidents for a very long time now!” Beth hissed and hung up. She called her dad as she walked to her room, bypassed the pile of five boxes, and was relieved that he had not been busy since he answered. “Hi, Sweetie, what’s wrong?” He asked. “How did you know…?” “Beth, you never call on Fridays, and definitely not while I’m at work. What’s wrong?” She explained the pile and what she’d heard so far when there was a knock on the door. She flipped on the little video screen to see the person beside her door. She blanched when she vaguely recognized another RD, who must have been Desi. “Dad, I will leave you on here in full view. This is the RD who is on call instead of Penelope…” She opened the door, “Hello?” “Beth Sylvester?” The woman asked. Her shirt had her name embroidered and RD next to it. “Yes?” “I’m Desi? We were just speaking? Why haven’t you brought your Pull-Ups into your room?” “Because I don’t need Pull-Ups,” Beth told her. “I’m sorry you feel that way, sweetie, but you can either bring these in, and I see you wearing one right now, or…” She suddenly noticed the hologram of Beth’s dad standing there. Beth had a double take as she realized he had put his robe on in the second or two it had taken her to open the door. “Who are you?” She asked. “I’m Beth’s dad, Supreme Court Justice Cameron Sylvester,” he said. “I believe we need to continue this conversation with Doctor Barnes involved. I just sent him a message.” “What?” Desi asked. She looked down at Beth, “Why do you think faking a hologram like this will help you?” “I’m not faking that,” Beth said, “But someone is faking, trying to get me in trouble. Did you even call Penelope to check on this?” “Why should I? The computer clearly states that you’ve had four accidents in your panties this week and were found with a wet bed the other day? You already had to replace your mattress because you were doing so badly?” Just then, Penelope clearly was dealing with an incoming phone call. She must have had an implant or contacts because she could clearly tell she was seeing off into the distance. “Umm, good afternoon, Doctor Olson?” She stood there momentarily, looked at the pile of Pull-Ups, turned back to Beth and her dad, and back again a few times. “Yes, ma’am, I’ll get it taken care of… Sorry, the computer is usually correct!” With a sigh, she hung up and looked at Beth and then her dad. “Umm… I’m really sorry, I guess I trust the computer too much. I was told to remove those boxes and not harass you. My apologies, Justice Sylvester, Miss Sylvester. Have a good day!” She wasted no time leaving the room, and Beth heard a crash a moment later. On the video screen, she could see she was trying to carry all five boxes at once and dropped one. She kicked them out to the common room and out of sight. His dad sighed, “Sure, I can’t convince you to come home?” Beth found herself bursting into tears then, as the holo-figure of her dad tried unsuccessfully to wrap her in the hug she needed. I HAD JUST returned to my nest and was gathering my computers and homework when someone knocked at the door, and Grandma appeared. I stood up from my chair and went to hug her, “Hi,” I said. She hugged me back, and I noticed Grayson and Wyatt giving her and me nervous looks. “Ready to go?” she asked. “Almost; I just need to grab a couple more things,” I told her. “I should have enough clothes at your house?” “Bring a uniform home with you. We’ll drop you off Monday morning; I got permission from Dean Northrup to keep you until then.” I smiled, knowing I would have three nights to study and get caught up! I’d enjoyed a nice swim this morning, but I had nearly had my first wetting accident just before that! By the time Mackenzie removed my diaper, I had almost lost control. I was sure there was something environmental, or maybe, even built-in to the pods. Some quiet conversations with other Littles had led me to believe this was becoming much worse than in the past. The only new thing they could identify were some dome-shaped nightlights that had been put into the pods. I’d snagged pictures of mine with my phone and hoped I could research and maybe figure out a way to quietly replace it when I returned! I went over to Mackenzie’s apartment door and knocked to ensure I had everything I could think of needing. She came out a second later, “Hi Connor, what do you need?” She asked. “I just wanted to let you know my grandma is here to pick me up?” She saw Grandma and said, “Oh, Professor, good to see you again. Dean Northrup said you’ll bring him back for classes on Monday?” “Yes, dear, we’re going to take the full weekend.” “Sounds good; just so you know, Connor has the best potty record of anyone in the dorm right now! He’s doing so awesome!” She smiled in that condescending fashion of a daycare teacher praising a toddler. “Please let me know if he has any setbacks, though?” I looked up at Grandma, who smiled, “Will do!” I looked back at Grandma with my backpack on my shoulders. She grabbed the small duffel bag I’d packed with my uniform and things in her left hand. Suddenly, I was lifted onto her right hip without much warning. “We need to get moving quickly here, sweetie, so I hope you don’t mind if I carry you?” I blushed, “That’s fine.” Truthfully, I really liked being carried by Grandma. There was a sense of security as she held my bottom with her hand and encircled her arm around me; that made me know I was both loved and safe! I found myself snuggling into her embrace a little. “How was your week?” She asked me as she carried me out to the elevator. “Mostly good?” “Classes going, okay?” She asked as she stepped inside and pressed the button to go to the ground floor. “Mostly, it’s definitely a heavy schedule this semester,” I told her. “Too heavy?” She asked, a concerned look on her large face as she looked down at me. I shook my head, “I don’t think so. Part of my struggles are just some different terms used here. Or, more importantly, terms that just haven’t been invented back home?” She laughed, “Your mother occasionally complained about that.” As she moved outside of the elevator, Ava was walking up. “Connor?” She asked worriedly. “Hi, Ava, this is my grandmother.” Grandma stopped momentarily, “Nice to meet you, Ava; I’m Professor Westerfield. I’d love to meet you more, but we have to get going.” She nervously smiled, “Sure, see you later, Connor. Nice meeting you,” she added. Grandma continued carrying me to the car, and I couldn’t help but note the reactions of Bigs and Littles alike were way different as I would see someone I knew. Bigs seemed to get a jealous ‘how cute’ look on their face, while Littles looked appalled and nervous. I sighed. “What’s wrong?” She asked as we rapidly crossed areas of campus to where she parked. “Just some of the looks from students.” “Oh… Don’t worry about them,” Grandma told me with a smile, “You’re safe with me.” I nodded, even as I felt uneasy in her warm arms from some of those looks! When she reached the car, I was again strapped inside the infant carrier, and we were soon on our way. “So, what’s the plan this weekend?” I asked. “Well, we’re holding a birthday party for your cousin Meggy tomorrow at our house,” she said as she turned the driver’s seat around to face me, letting the vehicle drive on autopilot. I could see her on the projection on the seatback above me. “Lunch, cake, presents, and then send everyone home for their naps,” she added. “Naps?” I asked. She smiled at me, “Connor, very few Littles, even independent ones, can make it through our long days without a nap or a very early bedtime.” “Oh…” “Haven’t you felt like you needed one?” She asked curiously. I shrugged, “Not really? Of course, Mackenzie forces us to bed so early it may be the early bedtime helps?” She made a face, “She’s still letting you swim this week?” “Other than Thursday, yes.” “What not Thursday?” I blushed, “Umm… long story?” She gave me a look that could have come from Mom. “We have a long time before we get to the house?” I sighed, “Well… Mackenzie took me to a spicy eating contest Wednesday night?” “At night? After light’s out?” Grandma sounded very concerned. “She has the right to take me out after lights out?” Grandma looked concerned but nodded, “You’re right; it’s very unusual, though?” I shrugged, “I think it worked out for her. Anyway, she took me there and signed me up for the tournament.” “This is one of those welcome-back night things?” I nodded, “They had other activities, too… anyway, it was a lot of fun.” “Did you win?” She asked. “Maybe?” I smirked. “You are your mother’s son,” she shook her head. “So, you were too tired after that?” I blushed, “No… Umm… Well... When it went down, I didn’t really feel like it was that spicy. But in the middle of the night, it demanded a price?” “Burned coming out?” She asked. “Very suddenly too! I used the emergency call button just before I lost control.” “How bad?” “Blowout of the century might have been used by Mackenzie?” She shook her head, “That happened to your mom a few times too! I made your grandfather take diaper duty those nights since he was always encouraging her!” I wondered about those stories, “Yeah… well anyway, we were up late with her cleaning me up, so I didn’t go swimming Thursday.” She nodded, “No other accidents?” Before making a face, she said, “Wait, didn’t your potty chart show no poopy accidents?” I nodded, “She didn’t put it on there…? I think the money she made from betting on me was enough to make her feel nice about it?” “Hmm…” she said right as there was a beeping, and she turned her chair around. A giant hologram of Aunt Megan appeared. “Hi, Megan,” she said. “Hi, sis,” she said. “You sure you’re okay with hosting Meggy’s party? She has a dozen other Littles coming? They’ll all be hyper and up to who knows what?” Grandma laughed, “Of course I am! We have a great space for it, and between us, the other parents, Shelby and Connor, I’m sure we can manage to corral the little munchkins.” “Do you have enough floats and things for the pool?” “Of course! Plus, we’ll have plenty of swimmers around. Connor can definitely help us as a lifeguard there!” I blushed as she talked about me. “Oh, is he a dolphin like his mom?” Grandma nodded, “Yes, he’s a fish like her.” I suddenly understood Mom’s absolute insistence we know that dolphins were mammals growing up! I heard a noise in the background, “I think the birthday girl needs something; I’ll see you tomorrow, sis!” “See you,” Grandma said. She asked me more questions about classes as we drove to their house. As she did so, I realized I had never stopped by the bathroom when I reached the nest! I felt my bladder was full and beginning to send out some very urgent signals! Adding to my discomfort was the feeling of gas, and I wondered if something I had for lunch wasn’t agreeing with me then. I was incredibly relieved when we pulled to a stop, but I knew I wasn’t home free yet. “Can you get me out of this? I really need to go to the bathroom?” I asked. “Sure, sweetie, give me a second. I’ll get you inside and then come back for your things.” I stayed still as she unbuckled the harness, surprised by the urgency that did seem to be growing for me to go to the bathroom! She carried me inside and sat me down inside a downstairs restroom. The regular toilet was so big, and out of reach I didn’t think I could do it without a stool. She had already turned and left by the time I had pulled my pants down and realized I had a problem! I debated climbing the toilet when I realized a pink toddler’s potty was against the wall. Knowing beggars couldn’t be choosers, I pulled the Pull-Up down as quickly as possible and climbed onto the plastic potty. With a sigh, I sat on it instead and let loose my aching bladder! I suddenly stopped the stream, though, as an odd musical sound came loudly from nowhere, along with a voice that said, “Presenting her royal highness, Miss Big Girl!!!” “What the hell?!?” I couldn’t help but exclaim. I quickly realized that the potty had played it to congratulate me on making it. I resumed as I realized again that I needed to poop badly - and pushed. Suddenly I heard and felt hot liquid mush pouring from my rear too, and knew something really wasn’t right with my bowels! I desperately needed toilet paper, but none was available beside the potty. The toilet was several feet away, and it hung above it. I was just contemplating the waddle I needed to make to the toilet paper when Grandma came back in, and I realized the door to the hallway had been open the entire time. She giggled and realized her mistake of thinking I would use the actual toilet. “I don’t know why I didn’t think about you needing help to use the potty here!” She scrunched her nose, “Is your tummy not feeling good?” I blushed, “Something apparently is disagreeing with me… Would you please hand me some toilet paper?” She said, “Let’s just use a couple wipes; these ones will flush,” she said. “Lean forward, sweetie,” she told me. As I did so, she intrusively wiped my rear momentarily and then tossed the wipe below me. I stood when she was done and went to pull up my Pull-Up. I noticed the little damp patch at the same time she did. “Uh-oh,” she said like I was a potty-training toddler. “Looks like you made a little oopsie?” ‘Did I really just wet my pants?!?’ ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Thank you for reading! Scene #101 “Daphne,” her majesty called out. “Time to go.” “I can’t get up,” I called back. “I’m gay.” I saw that in a meme and have been waiting very patiently for an opportunity to say it. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. “Silly gooses say the silliest things,” Mary said to me just before she came around the corner into our bedroom. I think our bedroom needs a name. Or the whole house. Like Kinkmoore. Or the Lezdomicile! Yep, that’s our house now. “What are you doing in bed?” “Admiring the inside of my eyelids.” I’m not a smartass. Other people are smartasses. Really. “Up,” she said and whipped the covers off me. “O – you’re dressed already.” “Of course I am. You think I’d just sit around all day? I’m ready to bounce out of my shoes.” I’m very bouncy. I’m a lot like a Tigger: bouncy, Mary sometimes calls me kittenish, and I’m the only one (yes I’m the only one). And yes, I am hyper. On the cusp of squeeing even. Mary was excited too. I could tell because no sooner was I on my feet than she was sliding a hand down my lower back all the way to the undercurve of my butt, which she does often but she was doing it in an excited way. Trust me. And speaking of my butt, I’ve been a doing a very good job not getting spanked lately. I’ve been so good! I’ve only gotten some good girl spankings for fun stuff. Very fun stuff. Very good girl. Very spanky. “Tsk tsk tsk,” Mary tsked at me. “You’re not properly dressed.” “Am too,” I replied with what misinformed people might characterize as poutily suspicious. These misinformed people are wrong, of course, because I never pout (really!) and I wasn’t suspicious. I was certain. “Let’s just see.” Ya know, just because she has standing permission to take my pants down whenever the mood suits her doesn’t mean she should do it. It’s like offering to drive someone to the airport. You’re not supposed to say yes every time. That’s just manners. And so what if she was wearing the scent I bought her and a v-neck tee and was standing in front of me and I felt a little tingle in my tummy when she popped the button and unzipped my shorts. That’s just … things. And so what if she put her hand in my shorts and cupped my … me. It’s not like I went, “Hehhhhm” or shuddered or anything. And why the heck had we been so horny? Could it be the promise of an end to quarantine? Fuck yes! “I want you in pullups for our outing,” Mary said as her thumb did thumb stuff in my shorts. What can you do? Thumbs are gonna thumb. “That’s an interesting story. You should tell it parties,” I said. Except she shouldn’t. “Except you shouldn’t … please.” Bad story. No telling it at parties. Bad, bad story. Really. “Where did that come from?” She was smiling at me. O, when she smiles at me … sigh. “You said it to me a couple weeks ago, and I’ve been waiting for a chance to say it back.” I didn’t stick my tongue out, for the record, in case any witnesses say I did. That’s my burden in life, all these misinformed people and mistaken witnesses and perjurers and libelists who tell all the things I did when I really didn’t but may have and also did. “So you do listen to me.” “I listen to every word you say,” I told her as I leaned in for a kiss. A very good kiss. They can’t all be gems, but some of them are diamonds. “I just don’t always do what you say.” I mean, I always do. I just also don’t. I’m a very good rule follower. It’s just that I’m also pretty good at not following the rules. And I do have that thing about obeying Mary kinda obsessively, but sometimes that obsessive desire runs into other desires. The important thing is to (1) never doubt how good a girl I am, (2) never doubt how good a rule follower I am, (3) never question how anxious I get about obeying Mary on the important stuff (for realzies … like for real realzies), and (4) don’t question my nonsense. Anyhoo… “I do seem to recall you having some trouble following instructions,” she said and kissed me back. “But you’ve been very good about it lately, which is why I’m sure you’ll indulge me.” And with that my pants came down. “After all, it is for your own good.” “This should be good,” I mumbled while not mumbling or rolling my eyes. Which is when my panties came down and I got one of those – what do they call those? – a smack on the thigh. “We have a line to stand in, and it may take us a while, and I just want you to be protected in case you need to go potty and can’t hold it. We wouldn’t want you wetting your pants.” “When did I ever wet my pants?” She scooped up my panties as I stepped out of them and twirled them around her finger. “You wanna feel?” “You did that.” She did that. I don’t have proof, but I’m the official record keeper, so let the record show she did that. “I wet your panties? How would I do that?” “I didn’t say you wet my panties.” A little bit of sass in that. “I said you got my panties wet.” “If it makes you happy to believe that,” she said sympathetically, “I’m happy for you.” Yep, sympathetically. Or condescendingly. One of those. I did get a kiss on the cheek out of it, either way. “Though,” she continued ‘cause she loves to continue, “this doesn’t feel like weewee. Doesn’t smell like it either.” Setting the record straight again, my knees did not wobble when she did that. I didn’t make any sounds. Not a “Fffffff” or a “Hemmmm” or a “Fffffff.” Did I say that already? She doesn’t do that on the regular, btw. But she just did. And ffffffff *wobble* sigh … fuuuuuuck she’s a temptress, is what she is. “Mary,” I said over the sound of me blushing so hard, “you’re … a bad influence.” She. Is. Such. A. Good. Influence. One of the best. Really. “Hmmmmmm hmm-hmm hmm hmm,” she hummed as she strutted over to the closet where she got a pullup out. She tossed my panties toward the bathroom door to put in the hamper later. “I thought you didn’t want me wearing those anymore?” “Do you want a diaper?” “You’re reading an awful lot into everything I’m saying today … And no.” Also, no. “I wanna see your cute butt in a cute little pullup. Besides,” she said as she knelt down to hold the thing open for me to step into, “there’s always a chance you’ll make it to the potty. A teeny tiny chance.” “I’m not gonna wet my pants,” I had to say out loud ‘cause she can’t away with besmirching my honor like that. I mean, there are not consequences but I can’t let myself be besmirched. I have to … unsmirch myself … yeah … that’s a word. Really. She slid it up my legs, seated it firmly, and then there was more cupping. She’s good at cupping. Wasn’t quite cupping my butt. Wasn’t quite cupping my front. I like it lots when she remembers that part of me. And to get there, she had to put her forearm against my … me. “Of course you won’t wet your pants. If you have an accident, you’ll wet your pullup.” She was putting my shorts back on me. “And if you do, it won’t be a big deal – that’s what they’re for, for peepee accidents. It can even hold a mush tush accident, or at least we hope.” “Marrrry!” “And I won’t be mad if you wet your pullup. It’s a long line and little girls sometimes can’t hold it for very long. I’ll just take an extra one in my purse, and if we need to, we can change you in the little girl’s room.” “I’m not a little girl!” “And I’m sure someone would be fine holding our place in line. I’ll just tell them you wet your pullup and I need to get you into something dry. After all, if you wet again before we change you, it might run down your leg and get your cute little socks and shoes wet.” “Marrrry…” She took my hand and started leading me toward the car. “And of course we don’t wanna make puddles. I’m sure they’d clean it up without any fuss, but they’d have to get out one of those yellow signs so everyone would know to step around, plus the big mop bucket, and that would draw everyone’s attention to the not little girl who piddled a puddle on the floor. I mean, we’d offer to help, but I don’t think you’d like cleaning up your own piddle puddle in front of everyone, plus they do have their hygiene protocols in a healthcare setting.” “Marrrry…” “You need shoes.” Which are kept by the backdoor. I put my shoes on while she fixed me a bottle of water. “And you need to stay hydrated.” “Mary…” “Mhmm?” “Let’s go get our first shot.” “You’re the boss, Daffodil.” And I got another kiss on the cheek. I’d say I was winning the day, all things considered. “Am not.” I don’t wanna be the boss. And I took her hand, and to our car we went, off to get our first vaccine shot.1 point

Chapter 94 There is all the difference in the world between a hotdog that’s been boiled and one that’s been grilled. It was Jamie’s great pleasure when he worked as a camp counselor during college to sneak a few hotdogs from the kitchen to the grill on parents’ day, spotting the foreign cook a hotdog so he could understand the difference, too, and take that great piece of cultural knowledge home with him when camp was over. The hotdog didn’t exist in Itali, but plenty of other sausages did, all better on a grill, which Amanda manned while Becky, Jamie, and Ella enjoyed the sun at the patio table on the last day before Becky had to return to work. The food was playing the dual role of nourishment and topic of conversation to avoid the prickly question of what kind of summer it had been. ‘All’s well that ends well’ has more resignation than resonance, almost a fatalism. Things had worked out for now: that seemed the highest praise they could give in good faith. Even Jamie, who loved summer more than any of them, was looking forward to daycare and the return to a more predictable routine in two week’ time. Having two homes would make it different than just a few months prior, but the sense that they’d been making up so much of their days as they went along would fade as it all blended back into the structure of school. Both Jamie and Ella were glad they would be spending more time together. With all the upheaval, they didn’t get as many days with one another as they otherwise would have, and the prospect of every weekday together was a welcome change. Even daycare itself was a welcome change for Jamie, though he knew that wouldn’t last beyond the first week, as he’d grown tired of their summer standby, the pool. Not that he didn’t enjoy it, just that he needed more variety. The school year rather than the calendar year drove their lives, so they each made their own quiet resolutions. Becky, to assign less homework. Amanda, to be a more diligent student. Jamie, to participate more in activities at daycare. Except Ella, for whom the school year didn’t mean as much and the calendar year less. She had no resolutions. She just looked forward to her partner being with her every day. They enjoyed their lunch together, and Stacy collected Ella at the usual time. Amanda hung around for another hour and left, promising to be back early enough to start Jamie’s day and let Becky get her early start. After a light dinner, Becky gave Jamie a second bath just because they both wanted to and then carried him upstairs where his bear was waiting patiently to start his night shift as pillow and protector. “You’re handsome all the time, baby, but maybe a little more handsome with your hair combed,” Becky said as she teased his damp hair on her bed. “We could get my hair cut as short as my bear’s, and then we wouldn’t have to comb it,” he countered. “And lose these blonde locks? No way, buster.” He always smelled so sweet after a bath. Something about littles, Becky knew, because the same soap and shampoo didn’t make her smell that way. Amanda had tried to, and her hair never came out as silky as his did. “I’m sorry you have to go back to work.” Like all teachers from time immemorial, Becky loved the start of summer unconditionally, but she both loved and hated the end of summer. She was ready to go back even as she was ready to sleep late and head to the pool rather than work, or anywhere other than work. “It’s okay. It’s time. Summer wouldn’t be special if it didn’t end.” “Sorry it wasn’t a better summer,” he said. “You don’t think so,” she asked. “I had my appendix out, Ella’s world, and mine, I guess, got totally turned upside down, and Manda moved out. Not exactly what I had in mind in the spring. O, and Mel’s not around as much.” She kissed his hair. “I know, but things worked out okay, didn’t they? Ella’s still here and happy she got to see her family. The three of us are adjusting pretty well to you having two homes. Mel is doing well, and you still get to see her. And you weren’t using that appendix thing anyway.” “I know. Still, I could’ve done without all that. You, too, I’m sure ... I’m still ...” He shook his head and trailed off. Becky put her arms around him and tipped herself backwards, taking him with her and grabbing his ankles. “Im’a start tickling these feet if you don’t tell me,” she warned. She found she enjoyed roughhousing with him more than she thought she would, and she was glad to do it more often now that Amanda wasn’t around all the time to do it. Even more, she liked that he was sharing with her more. She felt guilty about that pleasure sometimes as often what he shared were feelings about the complications that had come into his life with all the changes of the summer. “Everyone’s always threatening to tickle me,” he whined. He didn’t mind, much. He could understand how irresistible his peals of laughter and squirming could be, and he liked their hands as much as they liked his body. It was the counterpart to their sometimes stated desire to gobble him up. Becky landed three heavy thumps on his thick nighttime diaper and cover, letting his ankles down. It was one of the first things he noticed in Itali, how often someone patted his diapered butt, and he connected it immediately to the way humans do the same thing with their children, and he didn’t know what made it so viscerally satisfying for both of them. “Wanna just tell me anyway,” she asked. “I’m just still getting used to the two homes thing,” he confessed. “I know it’s only been a few weeks. It’s just ... It doesn’t feel like going home yet, when I go over there.” Becky held her breath and closed her eyes for a moment. “Do you think it will be, eventually?” “I hope so.” “It is your home, too. We don’t just say that.” “I know. I guess we just need more time.” Becky hesitated. She’d made herself a promise that she wouldn’t do this, but perhaps it would make him feel better. “I’m not used to it yet, either. It’s a big house when no one else is home, but it’s only been a few weeks, and it’s summer still. We’ll all be back in school soon, and then I don’t think it will stand out as much.” “I don’t think so, either.” “And mom’s aren’t supposed to ever say this, Jamie, but I will if you promise not to tell Manda: this was a mediocre summer overall.” “Glad I’m not the only one who feels that way.” “Weren’t you and Manda going to take a trip together?” “Yeah, but it kinda fell off the radar for both of us.” “Maybe you can go in the autumn. That’s an even better time to be outside.” “I do like autumn.” “What’s your favorite part?” “Sleeping with the window open ... And sweaters.” “Really? I can’t keep a shirt on you during the summer.” “It’s a comfort thing. I’m pretty ambivalent about pants this time of year, too.” “I noticed,” she laughed. “What time will you be home tomorrow?” “The usual time. You wanna go do something when I get home?” “If you’re not too tired,” he said, “yeah. Anything.” “Speaking of, it’s close to bedtime.” He rolled over so she could cradle him while he nursed himself to sleep.1 point

One year, 1,600 pages, 2,020 likes, and a very happy family. ——————————— Chapter 93 “Who’s a good bear? Is it you? Is you a good bear? Yes, you is. Such a good bear. The very best bear ever.” Becky paused, and quietly waved to Amanda, putting a finger to her lips and pointing into Jamie’s nursery. “Such a soft bear, too ... You give good hugs.” Amanda bit her lip and shook her head, wishing she could take a video. It made sense. She just didn’t know Jamie talked to his bear that way. The same way they sometimes talked to him. That’s the first pretend play children do, imitating their parents. She could understand how Jamie would take on the same mantle, thinking of his bear the way she and Becky thought of theirs, anthropomorphizing his little buddy. Amanda was willing to admit she talked to her stuffies growing up and occasionally talked to the bear Jamie had given her when she was alone. Becky, smiling ear to ear, waited until Jamie was done playing and laid his head back down in the crook of the bear’s arm. He’d been down for a nap for a while without sleeping, so he tired to just rest. He was rubbing the bear’s belly, enjoying its soft fur. “Baby bear,” Becky sang quietly to get his attention. “Hi, Mom.” “How’d my bear sleep?” “I didn’t, really.” “O, no? How’d your bear sleep?” “He always sleeps soundly,” Jamie giggled, not knowing she’d seen him talking to his bear. “Well, somebody needs their diaper changed.” Becky walked to the edge of the crib and reached in, dodging Jamie’s arms and picking up his bear instead. He was confused and didn’t know what to say. Becky laid the bear on Jamie’s changing table and reached under it for the newborn diapers stuffed into the bottom shelf, acting as though nothing were out of the ordinary. Humming to herself, she opened the diaper the bear was wearing and stopped, furrowing her brow. “Something is different ... O no! I got the wrong bear!” “Hehehehe,” Jamie giggled. “Sorry, Jamie. The two of you look so much alike these days.” “It’s okay.” “You mind if I finishing changing his diaper first?” “Nope. He’s been in that one for too long.” Becky made a production out of it, tickling the bear’s tummy and dusting its diaper area with powder before she replaced the old diaper with the new one. “All clean,” Becky said. “You’re being awfully silly today,” Jamie said. No more than Jamie, though, a thought Becky kept to herself. “Now for the other bear,” Becky said as she put the teddy in the crib and lifted Jamie out. “You is a very wet boy,” she said when she saw how saggy his diaper was. “May I please be naked for a while,” Jamie asked. Becky had no qualms about that. The only thing nearly as cute as his butt in a diaper was his butt in nothing. She wiped him down, powdered him, and took a diaper from the table to carry back to the living room. “Ready to tackle the afternoon,” she asked him. “Meh.” She put him on her hip and got only one step before Jamie asked, “Can you please get my paci?” Becky smiled, ruffled his hair, and reached into the crib, fishing around the blankets until she found it. She took the bear and handed it to Jamie. “Maybe your bear would like a pacifier, too.” “I don’t think that’s a good idea.” “Why not,” she asked as she headed to the living room. “He’s still growing. It would be bad for his teeth.” Really, he just didn’t want his bear to have a pacifier somehow attached. It would be less snuggly. He yawned a great big yawn. “O, of course,” Becky said with a chuckle. “Mom,” Manda said, pretending to be surprised. “You diapered the wrong bear! You were supposed to diaper the hairless one with the pink butt.” Becky gave Jamie’s butt three smart pats. “I like this butt.” “I’ve always been partial to it myself,” Jamie added and yawned again. “What are we supposed with a naked Jamie,” Manda asked. “We could tickle it.” “No!” “You don’t wanna be tickled,” Becky asked. “No. Maybe later.” “Well,” Becky said as she sat down on the couch and shifted him to her chest, “maybe just some gentle tickles.” She offered Jamie his paci and guided his head down. With one arm around his waist, she used her right hand to run her fingernails up and down his bare skin. Jamie cooed and shifted his body back and forth, trying to snuggle deeper. “I bet I can get you to go to sleep,” Becky said softly into his ear. He nodded and closed his eyes. “You are such a good bear,” she said. “Such a soft bear ... Mama’s good bear.” From his neck to his feet, from his right hand to his left, Becky caressed every inch of him. Manda took out her phone and silenced it before taking a picture of Jamie in their mom’s arms. She’d print that one. She texted it to Mel. “Feel good, baby,” Becky whispered after several minutes. “He’s out, I think,” Manda told her. She reached over and caressed his thigh. He did have a cute butt, and let’s face it, not all littles do. She sighed and sat back. “You want him for a while,” Becky asked. “Nah. Enjoy him.” “I always enjoy my baby bear,” Becky whispered to Jamie, “because he is the bestest bear there ever was.” She put her other arm around him, her hand wrapped around his side, and enjoyed the heavy, warm softness of her bear.1 point

Chapter 92 Perhaps what Jamie missed most when he was staying at the apartment was the big, and private, backyard. A raised planter bed separated the patios, but beyond the edge outside their apartment, there was a long, wide strip of grass running past other apartment buildings, broken only by the sidewalk. The playground was of course open to the entire complex. There was no private place outside the edge of the patio, and that was more secluded than private. Becky and Amanda had talked first among themselves and then laid out the rules for Jamie. He could play in the grass behind their building and the two buildings on either side, but he couldn’t go anywhere else in the complex and especially not the pool. They were worried about Jamie. They were worried about a little seemingly alone and how bigs might react to that. The good intentions of strangers worried them, and the bad intentions did, too. They didn’t want Jamie being brought back by the manager, or worse, and what that might cause. They didn’t want to see Jamie hurt whether by accident or on purpose. Until they got to know the neighbors and the neighbors got to know Jamie, they decided to be cautious. He was, after all, still a little in a world made for bigs. There wasn’t much to do behind the building. There was no sandbox or swing set or anything beyond a picnic table. After reminding him once again the limits of where he could play, and after he assured her he understood, Manda stayed inside with a book while Jamie took his football and went to just walk and kick it around for the distraction on a slow day. Dribbling the ball, he made his way down to the end of the building over and back past their apartment to the end of the grass on the other side. He turned and started his way back wishing there was someone to kick the ball around with. He didn’t want to ask Manda because she seemed content with her book, and he always tried to be cognizant of the fact that it wasn’t her job to keep him entertained. Growing bored, Jamie approached the fence that marked the boundary of the complex on the back side. From their patio, he couldn’t see over it, and curious, he found a knothole and looked through. On the other side was a small wood choked with undergrowth and more than few discarded cans and bottles. Jamie figured teens likely used it as a place to get away from the prying eyes of parents, and perhaps older kids used it as a secluded place to play games and explore in the dirt. He assumed it was off limits to him, though he planned to ask Manda if the two of them could check it out, and he turned to continue his dribbling to see three and then four older kids crawling through the fence where the boards were loose at the bottom. Jamie never had much interest in older kids, or younger ones either. The younger ones could be dangerous once they grew to be bigger than him, and the older ones seemed mostly disinterested. He only encountered them at the pool, and he looked on them there the same many of them seemed to look on him: as being in the way. One of them spotted him, and she saw her wave her arm at her companions, three boys. Assuming they’d chase after him if he walked away, and Not wanting to be chased, he stood still until the reached him. “Are you lost,” the girl asked. “No. I was just playing with my ball.” “All alone?” “I’m allowed. My big said I could,” Jamie replied. Curious, he asked, “What’s back there?” “Just woods. I’m Yasmine. My friends call me Yazzy.” “Jamie.” “This is Brett, Steven, and Hao.” The boys all said hello, looking eager to find a new adventure, and they well knew that littles don’t go on adventures. “What do you guys do back there?” “We have a fort,” the one called Steven answered, “but we don’t allow littles.” Yasmine turned and gave him a dirty look. “I’m not allowed to play back there anyway.” He hadn’t specifically been told that. He just assumed the fence was a boundary. “Don’t you have any friends to play with,” Yasmine asked. “We just moved in. That’s my building,” he told her as he turned to point. “We’ll play with you.” “How old are you guys?” “Eleven,” she answered as the same boy said, “Too old to play with littles.” Jamie wasn’t sure he would have had a different reaction at that age to the prospect of playing with the toddler they saw him as, but the boy’s reaction struck him as typical of the attitude he seemed to find among a lot of older and teen boys. They just weren’t interested in littles. Girls were more likely to take an interest, though he rarely interacted with them. “Don’t be a buttface,” the boy called Hao said. “We’ll kick your ball with you,” he offered. Jamie was a little suspicious. Hao seemed sincere enough, and Yasmine seemed genuinely nice. They were still big kids, though, and Jamie was torn between his reservations about kids and wanting to make friends at his second home. “Will you play nice,” he asked. “Yeah, we’ll play nice,” Yazzy told him. Still not entirely confident but willing to take a risk, he dropped his ball and kicked it toward her gently. She passed it back. The fivesome started dribbling and passing the ball between them, starting to walk, for them, and jog, for Jamie, down the strip of grass. They were careful with the ball and didn’t play rough. The boys especially seemed amused by the small size of Jamie’s football. They dribbled it more easily than one of their own balls, and Steven and Brett seemed mostly to play with each other. Yazzy and Hao included him whenever they got the ball. They stopped in a larger grassy area and spread out to pass the ball back and forth. Jamie was enjoying himself. Brett and Steven may have been mostly ignoring him, but they weren’t being mean and he had people to play with. They were no longer behind his building, but Jamie decided Becky and Manda’s real concern was him being alone outside the boundaries, and he wasn’t alone. If they kept playing for much longer, he’d go back to the apartment and tell Manda. “Remember to share,” Yasmine reminded Steven as he passed again to Brett, and the boy shrugged and kicked the ball toward Jamie. Without meaning to, it sailed over his head, and Jamie ran to get it. Wanting to show he could play well, if not kick as hard as they could, Jamie drop kicked the ball back into the circle and chased after it. “Good kick,” Hao congratulated him. Jamie tried not to smile as he took his place in the circle again. He wanted them to think it was business as usual. Steven and Brett started to include him more, and Steven paused the ball with his foot on top and nodded at Jamie. As Jamie said, “Not too hard,” Steven hammered the ball at Jamie. It went wide of him, and he had no intention of trying to stop it. It follows a straight line into the parking lot and bounced off a car door. Jamie followed it with his eyes and turned back around to find himself alone. He rolled his eyes, not exactly blaming them for getting scared and running away. He would’ve at their age. He walked toward the parking lot and very carefully poked his head out from between two cars parked at the edge to make sure it was safe and trotted across the row to get his ball, which had come to rest against a tire. Being a responsible adult, Jamie went over to the car Steven had hit and checked to see if the door panel was dented. It wasn’t, but there was a scuff. Jamie spit on it and used the hem of his shirt to wipe it off, hoping it would rub out easily. It did, but he couldn’t reach the whole thing. About to stand on his ball, Jamie found himself in a shadow. Feeling caught, he turned ready to explain and apologize but didn’t get the chance. “Did you do that,” a woman standing over him asked. She had a hand on her hip. “A big kid I was playing with did. I’m sorry, but it’s rubbing right out.” The woman leaned over to take a closer look and straightened up. “I don’t see any kids,” she said. “It’s better to always tell the truth.” “I am telling the truth,” Jamie defended himself, a little emphatically but still calmly. “They ran away.” “So there was more than one of them?” “Yeah. There were four.” “Well, come on. Let’s go.” She held out her hand, and Jamie didn’t take it. “Where,” he asked. She didn’t seem angry, but she was three times his size. “Your apartment. Which building do you live in?” She hoped he knew. “I can go home on my own,” Jamie told her. The woman wouldn’t leave a little in a parking lot anyway, and she wanted to take him to his mom and let her deal with his naughtiness: the scuff on her car, and being in the parking lot. She was tempted to give his mom a piece of her mind for letting him wander away. “I’m gonna take you,” the woman said. “Which one is yours? And no fibbing,” she warned him. “That one,” he pointed. She took his hand. He reacted and tried to pull it away. He didn’t mean to; it was just instinct. “I’m holding your hand,” the woman said, still calm but growing impatient. She gripped his hand more tightly but not painfully. She took the ball from him and carried it in her palm. Knowing he was in trouble now, Jamie didn’t look forward to facing Amanda. He hadn’t gotten in trouble in months, and he wasn’t sure just how much trouble he was in. The woman let go of his hand, knocked on the door, and put her palm firmly on top of Jamie’s shoulder. Amanda opened the door and frowned, expecting this well-intentioned big brought him home thinking he was where he shouldn’t be. “Is this your little,” the woman asked. “Are you okay,” she asked him first. He nodded and walked through the door, turning and standing next to Amanda’s left leg. She put her hand around his shoulder. “I found him in the parking lot trying to rub a scuff out of my car door.” Jamie looked at the floor and didn’t see the look of surprise and disappointment Amanda turned on him. She hadn’t considered she needed to do anything beyond the reminder she’d given him to make sure he stayed where he was supposed to. Jamie was unregressed, after all, and didn’t need that kind of supervision. At least, he didn’t at home. “I’m Amanda,” she said. “Dorothy.” She handed the ball over. “He said the kids he was playing with did it, but I didn’t see any kids.” “Is you car okay?” “Yes.” The woman wanted to lecture Amanda about not knowing where her little was but held it in. “I’ll leave you to it.” “I’m sorry about this. Jamie, anything to say?” He’d apologized once already in a general way, as in he was sorry for the inconvenience. He wasn’t going to apologize for hitting her car because he didn’t do it, and it was an accident anyway with no harm done. “A big kid did it, and it was an accident,” he said a little plaintively. “I’m sorry it happened,” he added for the woman’s benefit. “Thanks for being him back,” Amanda said. The woman nodded and left, and Amanda shut the door behind her. Jamie had music to face. “C’mon,” Amanda said and guided him in front of her to the couch. She sat down and he stood in front of her. “What happened?” She wasn’t angry, at least not audibly, but she was more than disappointed. “I didn’t lie,” he said. “No one said you did,” she said evenly. “She did when I said I didn’t do it.” “So where did you meet this kid?” “In the yard behind our building. They were playing in the woods behind the fence.” “Did you got back there?” “No. I didn’t think I was allowed. They came through a hole in the fence.” Jamie was telling the story to the couch cushions on either side of Amanda, having a hard time looking at her. He was embarrassed to be in trouble and embarrassed to have been brought home and embarrassed to have been treated like a little kid by that woman. “And,” Amanda asked with a patient nod. “We started playing with my football,” he said and recounted the story. “I was bored and I wanted to make friends and I’m sorry. I won’t do it again,” he said when he was done. “Well, I’m not upset about the car, Jamie, but I am upset you went outside the boundaries and that you walked into the parking lot and that you wandered off with strangers. I’d didn’t even know you weren’t in the back.” “I didn’t go far,” he weakly defended himself. “That’s not the point and you know it. If you had come ask permission, I might have said yes, but you know where you’re not supposed to go and went there anyway.” “I didn’t mean to at first ... And I was gonna come back if we stayed much longer.” He knew that didn’t excuse it. It only showed that he knew what he did was wrong. His voice was getting shaky. She reached out and picked him up into a hug, giving him a kiss and a good squeeze. “Let’s take a moment to calm down, and then we can finish talking about it.” Knowing what was coming, he stayed silent as she carried him to the corner behind his playpen and set him on his feet. “Think about what you did, and we’ll finish talking when I come get you.” Jamie nodded and Amanda gave him a gentle pat on his butt to check his diaper. As much as he hated corner time, Jamie counted himself lucky. He knew enough to know that every other big of his acquaintance save Becky would’ve had his diaper down and his butt over their lap. He didn’t recall every timeout he’d ever gotten, but he was sure this was the only time he’d done something most bigs would view as an automatic spanking. The thought of it made him unconsciously reach behind himself to rub away an imaginary itch on his left butt cheek. At least he knew that would never happen. Amanda went out through the patio door, leaving it open, and sat on the chair she’d borrowed from her mom. She felt the weight of guardianship in a new way, with a serious issue to deal with and without Becky to take the lead. She considered calling her but wanted to use this opportunity to demonstrate that she was in charge at their apartment and that he had to follow the rules there just at his other home. She needed also to make him understand that the stakes were different here. Everyone here was a stranger so far; no one knew them; and it wasn’t at all like wandering over to Amy’s house without telling anyone. That he wandered off with some random kids and had walked through the parking lot alone just added to it, and both of those were big deals on their own. Giving his butt a few hard swats would’ve been satisfying were it not for want she believed about hitting littles and everything she knew about Jamie’s past. “Hi,” a girl said, interrupting Amanda’s thoughts. She looked up. “Do you have a little?” “Yes. Are you one of the kids who was playing with him?” She nodded guiltily. “Jamie didn’t hit that car. Steven did it. Can I tell Jamie I’m sorry I ran away?” Amanda took a deep breath and let it out. “Jamie is in time out right now.” “But he didn’t hit the car.” “What’s your name?” “Yasmine.” “I’m Amanda. Jamie isn’t supposed to go out of past those buildings, and he isn’t supposed to go anywhere with strangers.” “I didn’t know that. I wouldn’t have asked him to play.” “Well, Jamie knows that. It’s okay for you to ask him to play, but he should’ve come and asked me if he could.” “I’m sorry.” “I’m glad you came and found me. It’s okay for you to play with him, but you need to remember he is a little. You can’t wander away with littles.” “I ...” She didn’t know he had boundaries, but she did understand now that boundaries or not, she did wander away with him. “It’s my fault he got in trouble.” It was a little bit, but it was really Jamie’s own bad decisions. This girl’s bad choices were easier to excuse than Jamie’s. Amanda expected him to show better judgment than this girl. “Jamie knows the rules. He didn’t have to go with you.” The girl nodded solemnly. “Can I tell him I’m sorry when he’s out of timeout?” “How about me and him come to your house later and meet your mom?” Yasmine was certain she’d get in trouble if her mom found out what she’d done. “Mom’ll get mad if you tell her.” That wasn’t something she’d say to someone her mother’s age, but Amanda seemed so young by comparison. “I don’t think we need to tell her so long as you understand he’s a little and you can’t take littles anywhere without their gig’s permission, and that he needs to ask before he goes somewhere with anyone.” “I understand.” “It’s our job to watch out for littles. Sometimes we gotta help them stay out of trouble.” The girl nodded and told Amanda her apartment number. Amanda watched her walk away and felt a little calmer. She looked at her phone and decided to let Jamie think for ten more minutes. That was longer than his standard timeout, but his actions were also worse than his standard misbehavior. Explaining what she shouldn’t have done to the girl made Amanda feel a little like a teacher; it struck her that part of having a little or being a parent is thinking of it as a job, and addressing naughtiness is just a part of the job. She knew she shouldn’t take misbehavior personally. Jamie’s actions were upsetting, and thinking about what might have happened scared her, and she needed to make sure he understood all that and what to do instead in the future. It wasn’t about punishment. It was about teaching. It was as simple and as complicated as that. She went back inside to get him. If Jamie had forgotten his good sense and walked out of the yard with strangers, he remembered how timeout worked. He stood still with his hands at his sides until Amanda picked him up from behind and carried him back to the sofa on her hip. She sat down with him on her lap, one arm around his waist, so they could look one another in the eye. Amanda renewed her resolve when she saw what looked like almost watery eyes, reminding herself she could hug him until he couldn’t stand it after she was done with her lecture. “I love you,” she decided to begin with and regretted it, “and I’m disappointed in you. You know better.” “I know...” “Please let me finish.” He nodded silently. “You know the areas where you’re allowed to play. You’re smart enough to know the fence is one of them. You know not to walk away with strangers. And you know not to walk through parking lots alone. So, tell me what you were thinking.” Jamie sighed. This was still an odd part of being a little to him. So rarely did he ever want to do something he wasn’t allowed to, he’d never gotten used to what it felt like to be chastised like a child, and for exercising his own judgment to boot, even if he did see it was glaringly bad judgment. “I saw these kids and they offered to play, and then we were running and we were around the corner. It took me a second to realize I was out of the boundaries, and then I thought I’d come back and tell you if we stayed there much longer.” “Come and tell me what, exactly?” “That me and my friends were just around the corner. I wasn’t alone, I mean, and I know that’s what you and Mom are most worried about.” “You’d thought I’d give you permission to go back there?” “Yeah.” “I’d have put you in timeout.” She let that sink in. “When you realized you were around the corner, you should’ve come right back. That rule is for your safety, not just because we don’t want the someone bringing you back. But what really scares me is you ran off with strangers. Why would you do that?” She tried to soften her voice and make sure he understood this talking to came from a place of love. “I ... they’re just kids. This girl and one of her friends were nice, and I wanted someone to play with. I didn’t think ... they’re kids. I didn’t think of them as strangers.” In fact, Jamie had gotten used to not thinking of anyone as a stranger anymore, not as an adult. They may be people he didn’t know, but they weren’t strangers in the sense people mean when they warn kids. In his years as a little, he didn’t hold quite that same view, but he hadn’t reverted to thinking of strangers as being strangers in the way he did as a child. “Anyone you don’t know is a stranger.” That had never been an issue until now, living in an apartment complex with people they didn’t know in such close proximity. “They may be kids, but that doesn’t mean they’re safe. They might not have bad intentions, but they also might. What if they just didn’t let you come back when you said you were ready? They might think that’s just playing or teasing, but that wouldn’t make a difference to you if they did that. And what if one of them carried you to their apartment or into those woods? What if one of them thought it would be funny to be mean to you?” “They seemed nice enough ...” “And they probably are, but we can’t just hope. If you meet a new person here and want to go play with them, you need to bring them to me first, and I need to go talk to their parents, and then we’ll decide where you can play and how long.” Jamie nodded. “What if the big is an adult? Like Amy?” “Then I need to get to know them. Does all that make sense?” Jamie nodded. “It’s not just about keeping bigs from thinking you need help when you’re safe. It’s about making sure you really are safe. And you don’t set a toe onto the parking lot without me or a big I approve.” “I’m sorry.” “I know, honey. I don’t want the manager coming or your social worker getting called, but more than anything - anything - I don’t want you getting hurt. It scares me just to think about it.” Jamie expelled air from his chest, his eyes getting watery. “For the rest of this week if I’m not outside with you, your play area outside is the grass right behind our patio, like there’s an imaginary line from the edge that goes all the way to the fence. Next week, we can try again with the bigger area. Understood?” “Yes,” Jamie said with a pitiful voice. “I’m sorry. I was stupid.” Amanda pulled him closer and let him put his face against her, buried in the fold of her tee shirt. She put both arms around him and held him for a moment. He calmed himself down in just a minute and sat back, wiping his eyes and looking embarrassed again to have done such a dumb thing. “You’re weren’t stupid, Jamie Bear. Your behavior was stupid. You are a very smart and very good bear.” Jamie’s lips formed the tightest frown Manda had ever seen him make as she drew in a deep breath through his nose and pushed it out, resting his head on her again but not nuzzling into her shirt. She patted his back. She knew he wasn’t trying to be cute or get out of trouble. Sensitive thing that he was, he was in the process of making himself feel guiltier than Amanda ever could. She had to pivot and put a stop to that before he got any further into his own head. “Do you have any questions?” “No. I’m sorry.” “I know, and we’re all done talking about it. You’re forgiven, and I know you’ll use better judgement in the future.” “Are you gonna tell Mom?” “I don’t see any reason to. This is our house. We just dealt with it. Now we can get on with our day.” “What are we gonna do?” “We are going to change your pants,” she said as she kissed his head, “and I met your friend, Yasmine, and later on we’re going to over to her apartment so I can meet her mom. Sound good?” “Yeah.” “You don’t cheer up, and I’m gonna make you sleep in the woods.” “No, you won’t. That’s outside the boundaries.” “I was just testing you,” she gave him another kiss and pinched the back of his bare thigh. He jumped and gave her a dirty look, smiling at her. “I love you muchly, Jamie Bear.” “I love you, too.” “Let go change those pants.” “Would you please read to me for a while?” “Read our bedtime book in the middle of the day,” she asked, letting the register of her voice climb a little higher, helping him to hear that she wasn’t angry or disappointed anymore and she was ready to have fun with him again. She knew what he was really asking: could he sit in her lap while she held him tight around the waist and he leaned into her, one of his favorite ways to be in the world. “I know. I’m just all out of sorts today.” “Such a silly bear. We’ll have to go to the library soon to get a new book.” Five minutes later she had a Jamie Bear in just a dry diaper, his paci between his lips, and as she glanced from the page to him, she knew he needed a nap before lunch. Perhaps she did, too.1 point

I have wanted to be female for a very long time, but have learned to accept my boy parts. I tuck mine between my legs and wear girls goodnites and that seems to work pretty well. I can't flood them if I'm trying to not leak, but sometimes I like to leak, so that's ok. Most adult diapers are too big, and i can't buy online, so I stick with the goodnites (and I love them so!). I'll say this - it's work being female. So much body image pressure - trying to be 'reasonably in shape' is a full-time job. hugs to all, dv1 point

I wish I were a girl, I'm sure I would be a lot happier The only tiny benefit is that boys can stand while peeing, but that benefit becomes obsolete when one is wearing diapers Girls can wear skirts and not be embarrassed at the nude beach (No erection) I'm not brave enough to go through a gender change1 point

First and foremost, this chapter may be a bit triggering to some of you. As you may have guessed, Redge is not one of the good Bigs. I really wanted to create someone for everyone to hate to show just how bad things could be, and I realized that Redge was the perfect character to do that. Like this society, he is beautiful and alluring form the outside, but deep within, there is something that is just wrong. If anyone feels this chapter is too much for them to handle, feel free to message me, and I can give you the bullet points of what happens. I would love everyone to continue reading all this, but I would rather someone get the cliff notes of a single chapter than to stop reading all together. Now, this is definitely one of my longer chapters, but I felt I needed that room to cap off this nightmare in a way that didn't seem jilted or abbreviated. This chapter also concludes the ending of part II. That being said, I am trying to write as much as I can for the next part, but there may be some further delays than this last part. Some important scenes are coming up for the rest of the story and I don't want to rush or cheapen them. Stay tuned for more updates. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys (or can at least endure) this next chapter! I promise, better days are ahead for Patrick. Chapter 9: Now, Hush Feelings of anxiety once protected humanity from the snake under the rock or the tiger in the jungle, but in recent times, those same feelings could have been attributed to the person breaking in front of you at the last minute on the highway or asking your crush out to coffee. As a result, those feelings could often be set aside or even totally ignored. In this same vein, Patrick had ignored the pit gnawing away at his stomach with Redge’s odd and slightly frustrating actions previously, but now, they were standing outside the last building that he ever wanted to enter. Redge patted Patrick’s shoulder, and then pushed the cruiser into the building labeled, ‘Changing Station.’ Of course, there were a pair of restrooms on the left and right side, but situated in the middle was a single large room that served as one of the two changing facilities at the fair. Redge mischievously smiled at how everything was coming together so perfectly and pushed Patrick on through. Inside, Patrick’s heart dropped. Before him, were three obvious mommies, all of whom attended diligently to their own Littles. Unlike Patrick though, each Little seemed highly regressed in their own ways. More worryingly though, each wore the same bracelet that he now wore himself and that he had previously questioned. Of course, to top every horrifying aspect of this moment though, Patrick could see the blonde boy’s eyes were wide and unfocused, the brown-haired girl bore several scars all around her major joints and tendons, and the redhead girl just laid back on the changing table and only spastically twitched every once in a while. Redge stopped pushing the cruiser as he neared one of the unoccupied changing stations. “Hello, ladies. Mind if I take care of my little guy here?” Patrick wanted to protest immediately but Redge was too sneaky and quick for the slower reflexes of a wheelchair bound Little. Before Patrick could get out more than a single syllable, Redge lunged forward and planted a pacifier into his open mouth and squeezed on the bulb four times. Not being used to the immense pressure from the punishment pacifier as it filled his mouth and stretched open his jaw, Patrick screamed but his sounds now just came off as mostly muffled and practically ignored protests. “Sorry about him,” Redge apologized to the other mommies. “New arrival and all. Doesn’t know his place yet, but he’s already ahead on his crawling skills I would imagine.” “Oh, the poor dear,” one of the ladies said, obviously noticing the cruiser and Patrick’s weakened legs. “Yes, but the little fella just had himself an accident. No more training pants for him,” Redge continued in an almost sing-song way. Satisfaction and eagerness dripped hauntingly off his voice. Patrick screamed as loud as he could, but the punishment pacifier was too effective at its job. There was some talk of banning this version in most part of Libertalia, due to the medical problems that occur from its abuse, but it hadn’t passed the oversight committee yet and thus was still considered an essential item in Little ‘care’ for several Bigs. “Now, hush,” Redge commanded firmly as he slightly swatted Patrick’s thigh. Patrick reduced his screams to mere whimpers. “That’s enough out of you for one day, pacifier gag in or not.” Redge just wickedly smiled more at Patrick’s growing saddened expression and then just quickly picked him up and set him on the free changing table before the two of them. Within a second, he opted to use the four-point restraining harness around Patrick’s body and secured him tightly to the table. In an act of desperation in trying to prevent what was to come, Patrick swung to hit Redge, but Redge’s quick movements dodged the blow and only used the momentum to strap down both Patrick’s wrists up by his head in seconds as well. Redge cruelly smiled at his handiwork and then brought the bag that Patrick had neglected to see earlier out from underneath the cruiser. “Let’s see,” he said looking into the large blue bag. “Aha!” Redge then retrieved several items that Patrick horrifyingly realized were diaper changing supplies. Next, Redge then pulled out a clear bag and two outfits and turned around to face the other mommies. “Ladies, can I get your opinion on these? Which do you think little Patty here should wear?” Patrick tried to struggle but it was all in vain. Before him and being shown to the ladies were two outfits. One was a striped onesie and a pair of shortalls, complete with a snap crotch and a large cartoonish lamb appliqué on the front bib. The other was a simple pair of jeans and a black shirt with the words ‘cutie pie’ emblazoned above a slice of pie that bore a cute pair of eyes and smile. It was creepy to Patrick, but he knew that all caregivers would have only gushed over the design. “Oh my god!” Both are so precious!” “The first!” “No, the second!” The three women talked so fast that Patrick could barely make out what they were saying, but after a few moments of debates over which would be cuter, more practical, or easier to put on a new Little, the three women chose the second option before returning to their own complacent and regressed Littles. Redge then turned back around and held the outfit up while smiling wickedly as if he was a serial killer ready to make his first slice. Patrick wanted more than anything to run or scream now, but luck was not on his side today. “I’m sure you heard,” Redge started up, “but we’re going for option two. Now, just lay back and let me do my work. I’m sure an icky pair of underwear is so uncomfortable, right baby?” Patrick wanted to beat Redge into a bloody pulp by now, but as his would-be tormentor began to strip his clothing off, Patrick chose the next best thing to do and distracted himself as much as he could from what was going on below his waist. If Redge had gone about this whole thing slightly differently, things might have been very different between the two right now. The simple fact was that Patrick was having more and more frequent accidents. His training pants were effective but only to a certain point. As depressing as it was, Patrick had almost resigned himself to a life that included diapers for the foreseeable future, especially considering what Matilda had told him about Psyche the other week and that he was less than a month into a five-year stretch. Still though, Redge hadn’t asked for his consent as mandated by Patrick’s contract with Psyche, had strapped him down, and was now... ‘Oh!’ Patrick was suddenly enveloped by a blast of cold wind over his wet lower nether regions. He didn’t want to watch any of this happen, but after that sudden shock unfortunately, he couldn’t help but glance down at the wrong moment. With delicate but sinister movements, right as he looked down, he saw Redge remove his soaked blue and green hippo themed training pants. From his vantage point, he knew he could whack Redge directly in the jaw with his foot from where it was now, but he also knew that Redge had all the power with how the rest of him was restrained. Plus, for all he knew, especially based on the screening process to weed out jerks like this with Littles in their program, Redge might have had an ‘in’ at the house or had another advantage that Patrick couldn’t see yet. No matter what though, Patrick couldn’t take the risk of him being wrong now and only making this situation worse. A quick glance over at the other Littles only verified how much worse he could end up, especially outside the protection of Psyche. He needed to just tough this part out and pray that he could escape him later at the right moment. Feeling his legs being lifted, Patrick shut his eyes as fast as he could. Having been around a few of the other ‘more progressed’ Littles lately, he didn’t need to see anything to know that Redge was now thoroughly cleaning him off with a wet wipe and then placing his legs back down on a thick diaper. The crinkling was unimaginable, but the rear of the diaper rode up enough that Patrick could still feel the diaper being placed on him despite the lack of sensation below his waist. He couldn’t feel the bulk of what was now being placed under him, but once he was lowered fully for a moment, he could tell from the angle of his back just how much he was currently being lifted off the changing table. Tears threatened to form in Patrick’s eyes, but he knew he had to remain strong. Vulnerable Littles were susceptible to all kinds of problems and the babytalk that Redge was now spouting was already intense enough to shatter his will. “Oh, who’s a good Little, huh? Who’s my widdle munchkin? Why would someone so cute want to walk again? Daddy could just carry you around all day when you weren’t in your playpen or stroller.” It was all just cruel, and Patrick wondered if Redge really wanted to be a caregiver or if he was now just on some power trip. Still though, even through all his humiliating babytalk, it was nothing compared to the babyish smell of baby powder that Redge was now sprinkling all over. Patrick coughed behind the pacifier from the dust cloud settling over him, but inside, he only screamed as loud as he could. He was helpless and couldn’t do anything… especially as Redge shifted his legs about once more and then set them down again. His mental barriers were proving effective, but Patrick wasn’t sure what Redge was doing anymore until he heard the sounds of two tapes being undone. Patrick’s eyes shot open as he distressingly saw Redge closing his new diaper now across his waist. To further confirm the finish of the change though, Redge humiliatingly announced, “All done! My widdle baby boy was so good for me. I could just eat him up!” To Patrick’s horror, Redge then began to blow bubbles on his still-exposed tummy. It took all of Patrick’s willpower, but he managed to not make a sound or give this pervert and assaulter the satisfaction of his reaction. Redge frowned. “Very well. Be that way.” He glared at Patrick but slowly started to undo his restraints to put his childish clothing on. Patrick realized that this was the moment he had been waiting for. Seeing the straps back in the cruiser, he knew that this could be his last chance for freedom. So, he then laid still and allowed Redge to undo all his restraints. After the last strap around his right wrist was finally freed, Patrick made his move. With as much speed as he could muster, he used his arms to spring over Redge and onto his wheelchair. It was a tremendous ruckus, but Patrick just started to roll out of the bathroom, clothing be damned. ‘Surely there had to be some Big here that could help him, right?’ Unfortunately, he didn’t count on any of the other Bigs still being in the bathroom still and the woman with the brown-haired girl with all the scarring blocked the one way out of the changing area. “I don’t think so, mister! You’ve been a very naughty Little.” She was the only other Big in the changing area now, but she was enough. Her imposing and fit body blocked the door completely and Patrick tried to find another exit, but it was too late. Redge had reeled around from his initial shock and quickly grabbed Patrick with both arms. “Naughty, naughty, naughty,” he scolded. “Bad Littles don’t leave their daddies. No wonder why all you humans are so pathe…” Patrick couldn’t stand another second, and while he had been thrashing around while in Redge’s arms, he realized his open opportunity and landed a single punch right into Redge’s jaw. It knocked him about a bit, but his grip remained just as firm around the still struggling Little’s body. “Just hold him down!” the other woman yelled out as she ran to her own flower-themed diaper bag. Patrick was too focused on trying to escape Redge still until the woman returned and forcibly grabbed his left arm toward her. “Here. This should fix you right up for today.” Without a second of hesitation, she then stabbed a needle directly into Patrick’s upper arm. The pain was immense from the thick needle and the way she had just plunged it into his arm. He tried to scream and tug away more, but the woman remained resolute and pumped the entire needle of blueish green liquid into his arm. The substance entered and Patrick could feel a shooting and burning pain arc all the way up his arm and then pass through the rest of his body. If he could have screamed louder at the near scalding sensation he was now feeling, he would have. “What is that stuff?” Redge asked, suspiciously eyeing the needle as the woman removed it from the still clenched Little’s arm. The woman just smiled and held the large bore needle up with pride. “Oh, this beauty? Just a little thing I’ve been concocting up at Juventas. Don’t have a name for it yet, but it’s pretty effective for what it does!” Redge eyed the needle and then to the puncture mark on Patrick’s relatively tiny upper left arm. “And what does it do? Exactly, I mean.” If everything that just happened hadn’t, Patrick could have almost sworn that he heard a hint of concern in Redge’s voice just then. “Exactly…?” the woman then put the needle back in her diaper bag. “Well, I can’t give all that away, but it’s a completely safe drug designed just for Littles. It basically just acts as a mild paralytic and mood stabilizer. I very much doubt that you’ll have anymore trouble from your darling Little today.” Redge then smiled as if all his dreams had just come true. “Redge,” he said reaching out his hand. “Good to meet you.” The woman smiled back and shook his hand. “Britney. Good to meet you. Maybe… we can get some coffee sometime?” Redge eased up in his grip as Patrick’s struggling slowed down considerably, already succumbing to the effects of the drug. “I’d like that.” The two then exchanged numbers and after a little flirting, Redge placed Patrick back on the changing table while Britney attended to her own Little, who had not moved a single muscle since Britney had sprung into action earlier. Patrick flopped around with only minor control of his limbs now but saw the brown-haired Little being loaded into her own stroller. Her thick diaper was on display under her short purple dress and though she moved about very much like any spastic six-month-old might, Patrick could horrifyingly see a spark of intelligence behind her eyes still. With Britney and her Little finally gone, Redge then hurriedly dressed Patrick in the outfit the women had selected earlier. The t-shirt was simple enough, despite it’s embarrassing ‘cutie pie’ wording and cartoonish anthropomorphic slice of pie right underneath. The jeans however, left little to the imagination of what type of protection that Patrick was wearing underneath. Once settled back in the cruiser, despite his seated position, Patrick still highly doubted that any caregiver wouldn’t be able to spot his diapered status from a mile away. As it was though, the drug he had been injected with had acted quickly and Patrick barely found the strength to hold himself up anymore. Redge just smiled sinisterly like some budding psychopath ready to torture his first animal. “Oops! Looks like Britney wasn’t joking.” He then reached for the straps and clipped him in securely. “I wasn’t really planning on using these… but I can’t just have you falling all about the place, now, can I?” Patrick grunted but just relaxed back in the seat as the four straps were tightened around his body and his feet were strapped into the footrests. Despite how much he hated to comply, Patrick also knew that the sooner this day would just be over, the better off his life would be. He had some strength to resist still, but Patrick knew that he had been defeated by this sadistic Big. For his part, Redge only smiled and soon exited the changing stall with an almost proud and accomplished strut. The two didn’t really communicate in any way after that until Redge turned a corner behind one of the buildings a few minutes later after Redge had checked out a few local advertisements for babysitters and babyproofing of a house ‘guaranteed in under two hours.’ Wary and distrustful of the Big behind him now and what his intentions were, Patrick tried to flail about. Not paying him any mind though, Redge just kept pushing him further out of view of the main street. Once stopped, Redge came around and surprisingly started undoing Patrick’s restraints. “Now, I didn’t want to make a scene in front of Britney and her Little, but as my Little, you need to learn your place. Britney’s drug is a wonder, but I don’t think you’ve learned your lesson. Not truly… and something tells me that you would run as soon as I released you and you had your strength back. I can’t have that in my Little. No… my Littles need to be quiet and compliant. They need to know I’m in charge and I know just how do that with you.” Patrick flopped about but shuddered at what any of that could mean, but he unfortunately didn’t have to wait very long to find out. Redge pulled what Patrick now knew to be a diaper bag out from under the cruiser and set it on a nearby bench. Once satisfied, he then hauled Patrick over his lap. Patrick was powerless to stop him. “Now then, little boy. I know you are paralyzed and feelings below your waist are still hit or miss. Britney had her own wonder drug, but I also just happen to have one myself.” Redge then reached over into the diaper bag and produced a single tube of ointment. “I was hoping this was going to be a reward for you today, but clearly, you need to be punished for everything you did back there.” Redge then shook his head in what only looked like remorse and rubbed his cheek where Patrick had hit him. “We could have been friends… but you chose this. Just remember that.” Redge popped off the top of the tube and quickly yanked down Patrick’s jeans followed almost instantly by his diaper, fully exposing his rear end. A smell of baby powder overtook Patrick’s nose, but it was then quickly replaced by something that smelled like saffron one minute and something rotten and acrid the next. “This,” Redge started to explain, “is from my friend who works at Diamond Technologies. It’s only temporary, but it essentially acts as a bridge of nerve receptors wherever it’s rubbed. In essence, this will basically make it like you weren’t paralyzed for wherever I rub it as long as I connect it back to the healthy spots of your nerves above your originally injury.” Patrick’s eyes widened in horror, and he understood what position he was primed for having to do with a punishment. ‘No… he’s a sick bastard but… oh!’ Redge then began to rub the cream all over Patrick’s lower back and all around his exposed butt cheeks. It took about four minutes, but a hot sensation started to grow at the base of Patrick’s back and then slowly spread downward. “You should be feeling all primed and ready to go, my Little…” Redge sneered wickedly. Patrick turned around his head to face Redge one last time as well as he could and plead with his eyes, his pacifier still in place to prevent any sound. Redge, however, only smiled back. Patrick could only whimper at the look of revenge and power now present in his sadistic tormentor’s eyes. “We’re too late for apologies or forgiveness. This is a lesson you need to learn. Just remember, I’m doing this because you did something naughty, but also… because I care about you…” Redge then reached into the diaper bag once more and brought out a large wooden paddle. It was no bigger than a ping pong paddle in his hands but for Patrick, the almost one-foot-wide surface area was emblazoned with a red rubber and seemed like the stuff of nightmares. Patrick gulped in utter terror behind his still-present punishment pacifier and started to struggle, but Redge just held his body down while still holding the paddle with one hand while the other grabbed his hair and pulled back. Patrick muffled out a tiny yelp. “Enough. You are being punished. Just hold still and it will all be over. You don’t want to be a truly bad boy, do you?” Patrick refused to stop struggling and attempting to scream, but it was no use. “Very well,” Redge said coldly. Redge then raised his arm and brought the paddle right down on Patrick’s exposed butt cheeks. Having not felt any sensation back there for five years now, this new feeling felt as bad as it ever could. Just with one swat, large hot tears already began to form in Patrick’s eyes. By the time of the fifth, Patrick’s bottom was already sporting a cherry red with hints of something darker in the middle and Patrick began to break down completely. Even if he could speak, he would likely just be bawling loudly by now. Now normally, per governmental regulations from seven years ago, spankings were now required to follow certain rules in Libertalia. Elsewhere around the world, regulations were still less stringent, but here, Littles were safer in some regards. Now, Littles had to be able to give a signal to stop if the pain was too great and the Big would stop at least temporarily. Additionally, punishments could now only be doled out in certain increments, usually in groupings of ten. It could prolong the punishment, but the Little could avoid permanent injuries that way, particularly with spankings. Redge, on the other hand, detested these new laws and had hidden himself and Patrick out of view of other Bigs for this exact reason. His jaw still hurt from where Patrick had hit him, and he had yet to master any type of patience or the needed self-control when dealing with Littles. As a result, the usual ten spanks in total didn’t satisfy him, and he certainly didn’t pause his barrage with the paddle on Patrick’s darkening and inflamed rear. In fact, it took up to 20 for Redge to even start to feel satisfied and a total of 36 for him to finally place down the paddle. To say that Patrick had been broken in some form today was an understatement. Some Littles would break down after ten while others broke after 100. It’s just how it was and wasn’t a reflection on the Little themselves. For Patrick, after the 23rd smack, he had just gone limp and silent. Now satisfied that Patrick had learned his lesson, Redge rubbed some ointment over his reddened and purple skin. With any luck, it would be healed at least visually the next time someone would see Patrick’s behind. “There. That’s better. You’ll still feel it for a bit, but this way, your skin won’t start to break down in your diaper.” He then repositioned the diaper and pulled Patrick’s jeans back up. Still silent and in a state of pain and shock, Patrick had no will left to fight Redge and just allowed himself to be placed back in the cruiser and then strapped back down. Smiling at the success of the spanking, Redge placed the diaper bag underneath the cruiser and wheeled his Little back out into the crowd. A few other Bigs had seen what Redge had been doing, but most either nodded in horrific approval or just scurried away… just as Redge had predicted they would. Redge wheeled the silent and unmoving Patrick around the fair for a while longer. Redge posed in a few booths with Patrick to capture some fond memories of the day, even going as far as to slip one of them in Patrick’s pocket. The pair also went on a few more rides, but Patrick still did not move or even laugh. All his actions got though from others were notes of condolences and appreciation for Redge’s obviously damaged Littles. Patrick wasn’t brain dead or anything by any means but combined with the drug that Britney had injected him with, his mind had shut itself off to protect itself. He would be his usual self when they got back to the Psyche building, but for now, Patrick would just blink at the cooing Bigs around him. Now happy over his perceived version of a successful outing, Redge wheeled Patrick out of the fairgrounds and then placed him in his booster seat. “Probably should have gotten you a car seat,” Redge only half joked as Patrick actually began to tip over a bit in the seat, still suffering from the shock of the spanking and the drugs Britney had injected him with. “Hmmm… I thought this was a wasted feature…” Redge then reached around Patrick and hit a button that released the seat cushion from behind Patrick. “Just lean forward, baby.” Patrick only moved as Redge guided him forward gently and plucked out the straps before pushing the cushions and Patrick back onto them. “Here we go,” Redge continued as he then buckled Patrick securely into his booster seat and the cushion behind him, forming a makeshift car seat of sorts… just as the manufacturers had originally intended. The drive back wasn’t any better and Redge alternated between talking to a still mute Patrick and simply just turning on a bunch of Little’s music. It was only as they entered the front gate of the Psyche grounds that Patrick began to stir slightly. “Good. I thought you would never move. I could always cover it up, but where’s the fun in a Little who’s just a vegetable, right?” Horrifyingly, Redge then let out a tiny chuckle. Patrick made no reply as he still feared for his safety when he was with Redge. He didn’t even make a move as Redge parked and then discreetly walked to the other side of the vehicle, where he was seated and obscured from the view of the front entrance. “Now look,” Redge said as he began to undo Patrick’s restraints. “My family is very powerful in this area, and I can make life very difficult for you. I’ll find your weakness and exploit it. I always do, understand?” Patrick shakily nodded. “Good. Now, I’m going to take the pacifier out, and remember… any word about any of today except that it was the ‘best day ever’ and you’ll find out that I do not just make idol threats. You’ll be mine one day and if I can’t punish you now, I will then. Just remember…” Redge then slipped his hand behind him and rubbed Patrick’s butt. A tiny yelp came through the still locked and inflated pacifier. Patrick quickly nodded in affirmation that he wouldn’t tell a soul and Redge smiled with satisfaction over his victory. Within a second, he worked the pacifier to quickly deflate it and remove it from his mouth. Redge wanted to say something more, but a crunching sound could soon be heard from nearby. Redge looked around to see where it was coming from and saw Dr. Halgen coming out with Patrick’s wheelchair. As if he was some type of shapeshifting monster, his previously sinister face turned back to what Patrick had seen this morning. His soft and handsome looks easily covered up the blackened and sinister being hiding beneath it all. “Ah, Dr. Halgen! So wonderful to see you. And how’s the family?” “All doing well. I’m glad I heard your father did wonderfully after his surgery. Please give him my regards.” Redge noted that he would right as Dr. Halgen parked the wheelchair in front of Patrick and Redge. Without a second of hesitation or malice, Redge then quickly deposited Patrick down into the wheelchair. Patrick could swear that he saw Dr. Halgen give him a strange look, but she only quickly covered her the feelings evident on her face with a wide and practiced smile. “I hope you had a fun time, Patrick!” Patrick flexed his aching jaw and saw Redge stare sternly at him to ensure his silence about what had happened, only briefly reverting to his monstrous form, of course all hidden from Dr. Halgen. “I… I did. I’m just really tired…” Patrick managed to stammer out with as much vigor and confidence as he could muster to sell his lie. “Oh? Tuckered out, are we? I see…” Dr. Halgen’s tone felt misplaced and almost doubtful but just allowed Patrick to wave goodbye to Redge and then wheel himself back to the house. To the apparent shock of Redge, she wanted to stay and talk to him alone. Patrick slowly wheeled himself inside, still awash with the memories of the day and the confusion with Dr. Halgen, but as the door closed behind him with a deafening thud, seeing all his friends having a wonderful time just got to him in a way he didn’t suspect. Without warning, a few tears began to fall from his eyes. “Stupid emotions…” Patrick said as he wiped away his tears. He knew there would be more, so he hurriedly made a beeline for the elevator. “Hey, sport!” Bruce called out as Patrick zoomed past him. Patrick could feel himself breaking quickly, so he didn’t say a word. “Okay… talk to you later…?” Bruce wanted to go after him but decided that a different approach might be needed. Littles coming back from their first caretaker experience were fragile. With his experience here, he had to find Addy. In the elevator, Patrick knew that he had to just ignore him now and apologize later. From the stinging around his eyes and the lump forming in the back of his throat, he could feel that he was about to give out any minute and burst into tears. Fortunately, the elevator stopped just in time on his floor. When he got to his door, he was very relieved that he only had to swipe his wristband to get in the door. Any other device would have likely been met with failure as Patrick’s hands began to tremble. Still though, as soon as the lock beeped opened, he burst through his door and made his way to the main part of the room. Less than a second later, Patrick could feel the tears falling more rapidly now, but he just felt disgusted with himself as he looked at his clothing. It was as bad as it could have been, but it was now just a symbol of everything he despised, and it only reminded him of his failure with Redge to prevent it from happening to him. He knew he had to get out of them, and he started to pull and tug on them. ‘I was too weak… too much of a failure…’ As if to emphasize his point, his motions were forceful but ultimately unorganized and fruitless. Due to his lack of strength with Littleproof clothing, Patrick only managed to unbutton and unzip his jeans. Unfortunately, in trying to tear off his clothing, he found the photo that Redge had left him of the two of them at the fair. Patrick stared at the photo for a minute in disbelief and horror. It seemed to represent all that had gone wrong today, and he was even more mortified that one could see a clear diaper bulge. That and his clothing and slackened expression made him seem just like one of the regressed Littles that he had seen earlier. “Bastard…” Patrick blinked back tears, but a white-hot rage took over him. “Stupid, piece of shit, abuser! Stupid Big!” Patrick was furious at Redge, this world, his lingering paralysis, and most of all, himself. It was all just too much to handle, and his lower lip trembled as he began to shakily rip up the photo. Despite its destruction and Redge not even being within ten miles of here anymore, Patrick still felt his presence and even felt… dirty. Trying to ebb away what that evil man had done to him; he began to try and rip off his clothing once more. His constant shifting in the seat to do so only emphasized the extreme pain in his rear and the crinkling of his still present thick and babyish diapers. “Stupid, stupid, stupid! How could I have come here so willingly? How could I have just let him do all this to me? I thought he was going to be my friend!” Patrick only managed to tear his shirt along some of the seams and around the collar, so his near pointless actions only seemed to confirm what he was thinking about himself. “What an idiot I was to even come here. Now I’m screwed! I’m doomed to be chosen and abused for the rest of my life… a pathetic little plaything for any of these stupid Bigs!” Patrick then looked down and saw his still nearly useless legs. Even after a few weeks, Patrick could barely feel anything but a few spasms and jolts in his muscles. Now, he only mainly felt the sting in his butt to an almost inhuman degree. His only solace was that Redge had pointed out that it was only temporary and would go away in a few days. “Stupid legs… why did I need to go and fix you… and who cares about those drugs back home… maybe death would have been better than all… this.” Patrick’s breakdown had been destructive but, more importantly at this point, loud. His screams of frustration could be heard in the hallways and several other Littles had stopped what they were doing to try and figure out what was going on. Patrick’s yelling and destruction had also caused him not to hear the door open or a figure slowly approach. “Patrick…” Patrick swung around and standing there right in front of him now was Addy. “Go away,” he sniffled, “please, Addy… I’m fine…” Instead, Addy ignored him and just stepped closer. One didn’t need to be an expert to see that Patrick was now in distress and needed help. “Please talk to me. I just want to help… I’m a really good listener and you’re obviously not fine.” She then paused and looked over the pitiful figure before him. She quickly realized that she didn’t recognize what he was wearing, and it certainly wasn’t what he was wearing this morning. “Did something happen today? How did it go with Redge? Was he…?” “None of your business! Now leave!” Patrick screamed at his nurse. Addy just stood there stunned but continued to hold her ground. “I said get the hell out! Are you deaf? I want you out of my damn room!” Patrick angrily pointed to his door and his eyes bulged in anger. Now, Psyche was different in many ways when it came to dealing with Littles compared to other places. They truly wanted to make their Littles happy, so they only hired the best to deal with some of the pain that these Littles were obviously going through. Addy was no exception, and her years of experience did her justice. A normal Big would have likely just proceeded to punish the living daylights out of Patrick for his use of language, yelling, and telling a Big what to do. Addy just stood there in place, however, until Patrick finished yelling and fuming. “Patrick…” she said gently after a moment, “I’m not going anywhere. You need help. I’m not sure why…” Addy then got a sudden look of realization. “Something happened with Redge, didn’t it?” “Just shut up!” Patrick barked out, still angry, but his resolve was crumbling. “Shut up, just…” Patrick immediately looked guilty and realized that he was placing his anger and fear onto the wrong person. “Please, Addy… just… leave me alone…” Once again, Addy remained firm. Instead of the traditional punishment around here of early bedtimes or even scolding him, she only closed the gap between herself and the now trembling Little. Sensing something had happened, and that Patrick was secretly in pain in at least some form, without even asking, Addy lunged into the slowly trembling Little before her. “Ah!” Patrick yelled as Addy wrapped her arms around him. “Addy! What are you doing?” Addy didn’t move or say a word. If anything, she only hugged him tighter. “Get off, Addy. Get…” Patrick squirmed around but his resolve wasn’t impervious enough to stay resolute forever. “I said… get… get… please…” Patrick could feel Addy only hug him closer if that was even possible. “I… I don’t deserve to be hugged… I’m just a bad Little… please… just leave me alone…” Addy just shook her head and gripped the Little tightly. What had started out as a shouting and threatening demeanor, now had devolved into a shaking Little who did little to move away from the Big now hugging him in her large, warm embrace. Addy was smart and knew the limits of those whom she oversaw. Without a second of doubt, she knew that Patrick was one of the good Littles. If he had lashed out like this, something must have gone horribly wrong today. So, using her instinct, she just wrapped her arms around Patrick further under his legs and carried him to the bed. Patrick wanted to fight back and tell Addy to leave him alone, but her hugging him, once so restrictive, now felt like a suit of armor wrapping him in an indescribable warmth of love and caring. He blinked back the tears now streaming from his eyes and just leaned into his savior of a nurse. Addy smiled at Patrick’s acceptance of what was happening to him right now. She hated Redge for whatever he had done, but she also knew that the Littles eventually leaving here needed to be receptive to receiving both compassion and care from their new caretakers. It was in the name alone, and Addy knew that today was an important day for Patrick along this road. Still… she knew she had to get to the bottom of whatever happened. She shifted around to make the Little more comfortable but then felt… “Patrick, honey, are you wearing a… diaper?” Patrick had been looking at Addy with such sadness, but now his eyes completely flooded with tears, and he began to wail before burying his face into her body. Between the fresh sobs and moans of despair, Patrick only let out a small nod to confirm Addy’s suspicions. His torn shirt had covered up his unzipped pants, but with a little prodding, Addy quickly saw the bulging diaper all exposed underneath his jeans. “Oh… oh, I see…” Addy racked her brain over what could have happened. An accident, yes, but Redge had been vetted as at least a competent caregiver. There was no way that on their first outing that he would have been so careless as not to take Patrick to the potty given his paralysis… but there was an alternative. “Sweetie,” Addy rubbed Patrick’s back gently, “I need to know if Redge put you in this diaper with your permission, or…” Patrick quickly shook his head. Addy’s heart sank at the notion. “That… man…” She wanted to curse so badly, but right now, Patrick needed her more to do her job as his nurse than to be upset over Redge’s actions. She took a few calming breaths and after a moment of the Little in her arms calming down, Addy propped him forward on her lap. “Honey… I think you could use a nice warm soak today. We’ll get to the bottom of whatever happened with Redge, but I need to take off your clothing first to do that. Do I have permission to help you with that?” Patrick hesitated but then nodded his head as a few more tears trickled off his cheeks. “Okay… let me just get a pad and we can go from there.” Patrick nodded his head and Addy just smiled and patted his bottom. Patrick winced almost instantly in obvious discomfort. At first, Addy was shocked. Her instincts for Little care knew that many Littles, whether they wanted to admit to it or not, loved pats on their bottoms if done caringly and respectively. That being said, Patrick was paralyzed so he shouldn’t have felt it… but he had. Addy celebrated but then realized he had flinched as well… and what’s more… it had seemed to be the painful sort. A growing fear began to wrap itself around her mind, but she shook her head in disbelief. Redge could have broken one rule, but surely not that one. She then attempted to place Patrick down on the bed, but he just shook his head. “Please… don’t leave me…” His voice nearly cracked, and it was so weak. Addy’s heart nearly shattered but she just smiled and held him close to her on her hip. Making her way to the bathroom, with a little strain while still carrying Patrick, Addy retrieved a box from one of the shelves high up in the linen closet in there. It was for emergencies only at this point, but she felt like it was needed today in this case. She then brought Patrick back over to his bed. “Now, I’m going to set you back in your wheelchair temporarily, but I’m going to place a changing pad down on your bed to help you out. I don’t know what you have going on, but I just want to be safe, okay? No insinuation of anything else… I promise.” Patrick didn’t like those words implied, but when his whole world felt like it was an utter wreck and mistake, any comfort given by Addy felt like an overall win. Of course, he groaned a little bit when he saw her unfurl an enormous changing mat. If its implication wasn’t bad enough, it was also yellow and had several tiny cartoon pictures of animals sleeping on their own small crescent moons. It was unbearably sweet, but Patrick knew that Addy just wanted to help him at this point and not punish or humiliate him as Redge had done earlier. “It’s just for protection…” Addy tried to reassure Patrick as she rubbed his back after seeing his distress about the mat. “Just let me help you and don’t worry about the mat.” Another tear escaped from Patrick’s eye, but he just nodded and allowed Addy to pick him up and set him on the changing mat. He winced once more from the intense pain on his backside but complied simply when Addy told him to raise his arms. His ruined and once-cute shirt removed, Addy gingerly pressed and then cradled Patrick to lie down on the mat. His legs hung loosely, and his jeans were already slightly falling down. Still though, Addy looked back up at Patrick with as much compassion as she could muster over her growing hatred of Redge. “Okay. I’m going to take off your pants now. I’m going to see your diaper, but I don’t want you to worry about it. You seemed a little wet when you were on my lap but we’re not going to count this toward anything, okay?” Patrick nodded and placed his hands by his head, but then suddenly stopped her as he realized that she was about to see everything. “Please… you can’t tell anyone about this… or any of this from today!” Addy hesitated, but guessing he was only referring to the diaper, she nodded her head. Satisfied his terrible day would remain a secret, Patrick then let her continue her work. Redge’s threats of pain or something worse for those around him would only remain as hollow words. Addy took a breath and slowly removed Patrick’s pants as gently as she could. She still wasn’t completely convinced why he had been wincing, so she knew that caution was key. As suspected though, once his jeans were removed, Addy saw a saturated and yellow-stained diaper strapped around Patrick’s hips. It was one of the more recent trendy ‘green’ diapers and had long bamboo stalks printed on the front of it. Knowing this brand from a few of her friends, a dry diaper would also have the words ‘planet saver’ spaced throughout the core, but Patrick’s wetness had faded them nearly completely by now. “Oh, Patrick…” She traced her finger along the diaper and could only feel a tiny bit of heat from it. “You’ve been sitting in this wet thing for a while. I’m going to take it off now, but I might need to apply a cream, okay?” Patrick just nodded and placed his hands over his face. He didn’t want to witness anymore of this thoroughly humiliating and degrading day. That being said, as soon as Addy lowered the front of the diaper, Patrick realized that she would see the spanking marks. Fearful that she would think he had been naughty, he shouted, “Wait, Addy! Stop! I can explain!” But it was too late. As soon as Addy had lowered the diaper, she had begun to look for signs of why he had been wincing in the first place. She thought it could be a diaper rash, and he was a little red in some areas, but it only took a millisecond for her to see his purplish-red butt, the ointment that Redge had used, already working to heal him. Still, it had only just started to work, so Addy could see everything. “Oh my God! Patrick! What happened? Who did this? Was this Redge?” Patrick wanted to speak, but his emotions got the better of him once more and he just nodded through his hands still covering his face. “Please don’t be mad at me…” he mumbled sadly. “I promise I was good… I was a good boy! Please don’t spank me…” Addy was a mix of so many emotions now, but she knew that she had to report this. She had made a promise to Patrick, but having known several injuries like these over the years and not being entirely innocent when it came to marks like these in her… free time, she knew that this was abuse, plain and simple. Redge’s wealth and friendship with Dr. Halgen had to be set aside surely. The doctor was stern and could be emotionless at times, but she still cared for the Littles under her care. While Patrick was distraught and hugging a pillow that Addy had given him, she made sure to take some pictures of the injury. Injuries like these had to be reported. Satisfied with the collection of photographic evidence of his evil deeds, she then rubbed her finger along the injury as gently as she could and smelled it. “Safron…” “What was that? Am I going to be okay?” Patrick asked wearily, finding an odd sense of comfort from cuddling a soft and fluffy pillow. Addy snapped out of her trance and just smiled at the Little and his ease at cuddling the pillow. “You will be… After your little soak, I’ll rub some cream onto all this. It will speed up your recovery, but you should also feel some relief while the medicine Redge applied wears off.” Patrick realized that Addy knew everything now, so just nodded and then allowed himself to be picked up and taken over to the shower after she had quickly wiped him down for sanitary purposes. In the bathroom, Addy made sure to put a rubber seat cushion on his chair and then turned on the water. Once seated, Patrick collapsed against the wall and just took in the soothing feeling coming from the steadily growing hot water cascading all about him. Satisfied that he wouldn’t try to go anywhere, Addy left and proceeded to document a few more things for Dr. Halgen. She knew she had to report this tonight or there was no telling the amount of damage that could be done to the other Littles. As it stood, Redge was a candidate for two others and was on the shortlist for other groups as well in case he wasn’t chosen this go around. Patrick was feeling more relief under the hot water, but his butt still was very painful. He took comfort in the fact that no one else would know about all this, but he was still relieved that at least Addy knew. She could be trusted at this point, and she had already proved a dozen or so times of her caring qualities and ability to help him through almost anything. Still, today had been a real wake up call to all that he had signed up for. He had been so tempted by the offer to walk again that he had nearly forfeited everything in his life just to be here now. It was a simple enough deal on paper, but now, Patrick questioned his own judgement for ever agreeing to it. Redge may have been more on the extreme side of things for a Big in Libertalia at least these days, but it had revealed a quality in other Bigs as well… one that made Patrick even more nervous. Both in the changing room and when he was being spanked, there were other Bigs that could have helped him. They may have been sadistic themselves, but Parrick highly doubted that after seeing some of their pained expressions. In essence, they were simply too involved with their own lives or were too scared to help a defenseless Little. In either case, Patrick felt a deep sinking sensation that no Big would ever be the caregiver that he had at least initially hoped for when he had accepted the deal. As the tears began to fall again and vanished in the hot water, he knew that only time would tell if he was right this time or not.0 points
