  3. They are ( almost all companies) are testing the limits of what the market will bear, they lower quality and raise the prices until they get signal by there products not being sold and then they start reversing the process to see where the happy medium is,unless we talk Depend they have never let consumers voices impact there decisions and unfortunately you don't lose continents and gain wisdom so there are a whole new crop of people to buy there junk minted everyday , inflation and price increases for materials really don't impact there decisions as much as greed does , look at gasoline it can be selling for $2.00 yet over night the price goes up , you don't really believe the gas in there tanks ran out at all stations and they paid more for the new gas do you ? And look at how slowly the prices go down a couple of pennies here and there whereas increases happen like lightning struck. Yes Bambino started down a good road of increasing choices and proving the market is there that was good , but abusive quality decreases and price increases are now the norm in yet another industry , nobody plays nicely and puts out a good product and leaves it there, everyone wants to be rich like 2 days ago, rather than have a great product they tinker till they find the sweet spot of what we will accept and still shell out the money for. A good example is the wellness diaper it won real awards for innovation, and then they started messing with it and can't find a price point or solid customer base, the sales they offer aren't sales at all and they spend unreal amounts of money trying to improve it and send out an almost continous stream of free samples looking for a customer base and obviously have not found

  4. Over the course of history , this country has created an "enemy" each time they wanted to strip some more of the rights the founding fathers gave us , the more we people panic and the louder they say we want security they more rights they are able to snatch back, we are no more less or safe than we ever have, but they have created a lot more government and stole more rights since 9/11 than at anytime in the past history of this country, terrorists goal is to alter what you do and how you do it , we are letting them take over by demanding security and allowing government interventions that remove our rights as casulties. 6. I wear 24/7 and that means work too I love plastic-backed diapers so that's what I wear. I've leaked a few times, had my diaper seen by an associate, and I'm certain many others have noticed by the way they act. Not that I worry about it though- it's either a diaper or wet pants, so there People won't notice your diaper as much as they will notice inconsistency, so if you want the best discretion then 24/7 is the best way to go because even if they notice they will simply presume you're incontinent and most people will leave the subject alone right there If you're asked about it just say "I need them, it's a very personal matter, and I do not want to discuss it with you.". Nobody (especially an employer) is going to press the issue any further than that because of the possible legal repercussions that could occur. Just act normally and go on with life as if there's nothing wrong because there IS nothing wrong with wearing diapers. Bettypooh

  7. The only thing I hate more than moving is job-hunting Before signing on to any lease-to-own programs, have your lawyer look everything over. The one time I was doing that the owner of the house was losing it to foreclosure. Had I not gotten out in time my belongings would have been seized along

  8. SO glad I didn't order from the Halloween sale. I ordered over labor day and am disappointed with the Bianco's I got. Like others said, the capacity still seems to be the same, but the diaper is thinner and plastic much rougher, which as a DL, is quite disappointing. With so much competition in the market now, there is no reason for me to support shoddy quality and inferior products. I won't be buying from Bambino again until I hear that these items have been fixed.

  9. It could have been market segmentation. I was on the east coast at the time. Maybe they stuck with plastic on the west coast.

  12. Me too, Mike, & believe it or not, this is my first ever, official, normal move & I *hate* it & can't wait to get it over with. I got some brief news though at a meeting that if I were to enter into a five year program, while paying rent, part of my rent would go into an escrow account that would grow into enough eventually for a down-payment for a house...Seriously, after I get this move complete & settled into my new place, I going to inquire as to more about this program. Owning my own house without this program is rather unlikely.

  13. What they thought really doesn't matter does it? For all they know you might be the owner of ABU and those were samples. You might have been a sales rep for the company. Especially when you're ticketed for Vegas. Even if they believe you're an AB all it does is give them a good story to tell their friends about their job. You ended up with a good story yourself Dubious, you're absolutely right. They drastically changed our way of life and cost us billions of dollars a year in perpetuity to give some of us a sense of being protected. Hugs, Freta

  15. old thread, but... I am a hiring manager at a very large tech company, but in the US as opposed to hte UK where you seem to be based. When I go to hire someone, it's a multi-day affair, with interviews with lots of people.
