Honestly I get the feeling that the best thing anyone can do is... To do nothing. We are a collection of freaks that can be put on TV to try to pop a rating, they have no interest in our community beyond that. Just go about your regular daily life as normal. If you want people to see ABDL's as "normal" then the best way to do it by being "normal." Going on TV, public stunts and all that other stuff only serve to show people that we are not, in fact, "normal" which of course singles us out for ridicule and judgement. Don't worry about what other people think of you and your fetish/kink/lifestyle or whatever you want to call it... Accept yourself and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Your wife understood after you explained it to her, why does it matter what other people would think about it?

I've just started and have determined that I do enjoy messing my diaper.

I have had to wear to bed for over 20yrs. I am not going out of my way to hide it, nor am I revealing it, that's just the way it is. I am pretty sure my family knows something as I have stayed at my parents house on occasion, but the subject is not one people bring up to talk about. At a hotel, I am sure a used diaper in the garbage wouldn't even rate a eyebrow raise. I am sure the cleaners have seen things you can't even think of.(one of my daughters worked in a hotel for a couple of years) I personally focus only on the positive. Good sleep is the most important, as I have a hard time going back to sleep after waking up, it's best not to wake up in the middle of the night. I haven't got up in the night to go to the bathroom in over 20yrs. Literally sleeping like a baby. Lol Diaper = good sleep = no brainer
