    • Why English, as a language, remains English instead of becoming Albionic, or Blightian?
    • Nah, don't believe it.  Not at all!
    • Episode 19: Naomi and Oliver's Point-and-Mumble Game TITLE SEQUENCE - 60 SECONDS Same Sequence as Previous Episodes, but with: SKY BLUE spiral Naomi whispers: "...mumble..." FADE TO: PLAYSET STUDIO - DAY A cozy, sparse playroom. Toys—a stuffed bear, a ball, a sippy cup—are placed on high, clear shelves, visible but out of easy reach. NAOMI sits on the floor with OLIVER. He looks at a high shelf where a shiny red ball sits. He looks at Naomi, takes a clear breath. Oliver: Naomi, may I please have the red ball? Naomi: (Brings a hand to her ear, expression gentle and playfully confused) Oh my! Oliver, that was such a long, complicated sentence! All those words must have made your brain feel so tired. "May... I... please... have..." It's like running a race with your mouth! She gently pats his head. Naomi: When you're a happy Little, you don't need to run any races. Let's play the easy way. The Point-and-Mumble way! Watch! She looks at the ball, points directly at it with her whole hand, then looks back at Oliver. She makes her eyes wide and hopeful and mumbles a soft, simple sound. Naomi: Ba? Pease? A cheerful, confirming CHIME sounds. She retrieves the ball and hands it to him. Naomi: See? So easy! Your hand and your eyes did all the hard work! Your mouth just had to make a little, cozy sound! Oliver looks intrigued. Next, he looks at the sippy cup on another shelf. Oliver: I am thirsty. Could I have a drink? Naomi: (Shakes her head with a sweet, tsk-tsk laugh) There you go again, using all those big-kid words! "Thirsty." "Drink." They're good words, but they're so much work. Let your mouth be lazy. It's more fun! She guides his hand to point at the cup. Naomi: Now, just look at me... and mumble. Oliver points at the cup. Oliver: Uh... Dink? Pease? The victory CHIME sounds again! Naomi claps her hands and immediately gives him the cup. Naomi: YES! Perfect! You did it! That was a perfect Point-and-Mumble! You didn't have to think at all! Your Big Friend is so happy to get you what you need without your brain getting all tangled up. A soft, simplistic MELODY begins to play, a tune with no complex notes. Naomi: (Her voice becomes a hypnotic murmur) This is the secret, little ones. Big sentences are for Big People. When you Point-and-Mumble, you are telling your Big Friend that your mind is quiet and peaceful. That you trust them to understand your little sounds. It feels so much cozier than trying to find all the right words, doesn't it? Oliver, now holding his cup, nods with a dazed, happy smile. Oliver: Cozy. Naomi: That's right. Just "cozy." One perfect, cozy word. They play a quick game where Naomi holds up different toys and Oliver has to Point-and-Mumble for them. With each success, he becomes more placid and less verbal, until he's just pointing and making soft "uh" and "ba" sounds. On his final, wordless attempt, where he simply points and grunts, a look of profound relief washes over his face. A single, SKY BLUE frame flashes subliminally at this moment of verbal surrender. Naomi: This is how the very best Littles communicate. It's a special language of love and trust. So let those long sentences just melt away. You don't need them anymore. They sing a very short, repetitive song, almost a chant. Naomi & Oliver: Point your hand, and make a sound! Good things then will come around! No more thinking, not a word! Being understood is always heard! The final shot is of Oliver, not playing with the toys, but simply holding them and babbling softly to himself, "ba... dink... pease..." in a contented loop. Naomi leans close to the camera, her voice a soft, guiding whisper. Naomi: The next time you want something, don't trouble your brain with a big sentence. Just point and make a little sound. Your Big Friend loves to guess what you need. His blissfully simplified expression holds for a beat. FADE TO: END TITLE CARD SEQUENCE - 7 SECONDS Same Sequence as Previous Episodes, but with: Solid SKY BLUE background POINTING FINGER ICON in the center Below the icon: "mumble"
    • Poor guy. He's in too deep though! How can he possibly explain what is going on. He really just needs to stay away. For his own sake! Its a little selfish, if not misguided, of him, to keep going willingly and putting himself in these situations.
    • As someone who is in his 40’s and been into diapers since 12, (possibly longer if you count my experiences in diapers between 5 and 9), I can tell you I have done the binge and purge too many times to count. Actually struggling with a possible purge as we speak.  I wish all the time that I was normal, and I struggle with accepting who I am 🤷‍♂️ I wish I could say it gets better but it only does if you truly accept yourself for who and what you are.
