I'm aware they're UK only so I'm sorry if that's no good to you. Firstly, I think they can be considered the best solely on the price. In the UK the cost of an average pack of nappies is something like £20 for a pack of 24, but with tender care you pay around £30 for a pack of 90! However, even though they are cheap they are still top quality. Their
absorbency is excellent, and for something like £2 more you can get the night time variety which in my opinion hold more and leak less than even
Molicare super, and believe me I've used both extensively. Also, they are relatively baby-ish looking (or about as close as you can get with adult disposables) so
that's another plus for them. They have the classic plastic cover which is entirely white, the tapes are blue and white and the wetness indicator is light blue and very discrete. As well as all of this they are also very reliable when wet. I have found that the night time variety can hold several big wettings and still not leak. This makes them even better value because they need changing less. And unlike many disposables they
don't break apart when wet, even after extended wearing. To add to the baby-ish DL feel they also bulge
incredibly, especially after a few wets. I have never seen such a thick disposable nappy! Obviously this is better for the AB's and may not be so good for 24/7 wearers, but believe me (as a 24/7 myself) that its worth it for the security. My only criticism is that the tapes, although very secure, are a touch low on my body.
I'm sure they're fine on other people but on me it means the nappy is a touch loose around the top. To be fair this has not presented a problem so far, as the high
absorbency has never allowed me to leak out of the top or legs, but I thought it needed mentioning to make this an unbiased review. So to sum up, tendercare are my
favorite nappies and I highly recommend them for absorbency, comfort, look and especially price. And the website even send free-samples!
