The Reviews:

  • Hello, I just have to tell you about a great diaper that I recently discovered. I don't know if you have Eckerd's drug stores in your part of the country, but they carry a line of adult diaper that is totally awesome.

They are called "Re-fastenable Protective Underwear". These are disposable diapers and the great thing about them is that there is only one tape on each side. You usually only see that on diapers designed specifically for babies, but these are full sized adult briefs! They hold a lot if you wet in them gradually (most diapers will leak if you try to flood them quickly). I usually wet about 3 or 4 times and have worn that same diaper for up to six hours before I needed to change it. The back of the diaper tends to sag, making it look like you've pooped a lot. The sides are more narrow than most adult briefs, about three inches wide, giving you a very trim, slim look (actually it almost resembles a high-cut panty).

The only minus about this diaper is that it has a cloth-like texture. I, like many of you, prefer the smooth plastic feel of the classic diaper, but these are so great that it really doesn't matter. If you like a noisy diaper, these become more noisy as they get wetter, but are still undetectable unless you are in a room that is quiet enough to hear a pin drop. They are hardly noticeable under clothing and I frequently wear them when I am away from home. I wear them with confidence when I am around family and friends that aren't diaper lover/wearers and even they can't tell that I'm wearing a diaper! They are also more economical than most top of the line brands, about $3-4 less!

What's that? You don't have Eckerd's drug stores in your town? Well, don't worry, Wal-Mart carries them too! Same diapers, different package.
On a scale of 1-10, I give these diapers a 9.5 (I would give them a 10 if it weren't for the cloth-like texture). I have an online diaper buddy that lives in El Paso, TX . I recommended these diapers to him and he said that he would try them the next day. When I next spoke with him, I asked him how he liked them; he told me that they were better than he had expected! In fact, he now uses them as his daytime diaper.

I have been a diaper lover ever since I could remember and have been wearing them for fun and recreation since 1983. I have tried just about every major brand of adult diaper with the exception of Tena and Molicare and these are just as good as any top-name diapers on the market.
Sorry, I have no pictures to send you of me modeling my diapers, I don't want to scare you (ha ha), you'll just have to try them for yourself.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I think you will!

  • Really great for a pull up. It has "Velcro-like" fasteners (one tape per side) but seem to hold fairly well. They have an elastic waistband on the front and back as well as absorbent material all the way up to the waistband. The cloth-like outer covering is great if you like the quiet style of diaper and also makes it easy to wear in public if you don't want anyone to know. They can hold about three major wettings for me and because of the extended padding, the can hold a nice messing, too. I rate these 10 for 10 as far as "pull-ups" are concerned, but they still don't compare to brief-diapers like my favorite Tranquility ATNs. DL Chris
