Dear Daily Diapers Letter with Answer

Dear Daily: 

I am a male who weighs 245 pounds with a medium sized belly/gut and I feel unsure about buying diapers with tapes.  see I wear pull ups that way I don't have to worry about buying diapers with tapes and them not fitting and lose money.  so I was wondering do diapers with tapes fit people with a big belly.

Dear Lost and Confused:

     When it comes to adults, waist size is more important that weight in determining the fit of a diapers. However, I can tell you that I know larger guys who can wear disposables just fine. While not available in most retail stores, several companies offer XL size diapers (First Quality, Tranquility, Abeana, and others) that fit up to a 64" waist. With bigger guys I do recommend the use of plastic pants or a diaper cover, which will help keep the diaper in place as you move about.
