Dear Daily Diapers Letter with Answer

Dear Daily:

Something about this game that I have always wondered about . Why is it that it is mainly men who are into adult babyhood and very few women ? As it stands I would say that the ratio is about 100 to 1 . Any answers.

Dear Reader:

There are more men than women actively practicing this fetish, that is true... but the ratio is not as high as you think. The women that are among us are much more secretive and guarded about expressing it online than the average male is. The reason: all those men in diapers. When a woman posts on an AB/DL board, they get flooded with emails from men looking for mommies or looking to change them. Many of the emails are sexually suggestive and rude. I say this often as it is important that us men be respectful of the ladies who are among us and allow them to share and participate in our communities without fear of being harassed.

As for why there are so many more men than women, I have heard many theories, and none seem to truly explain it. My belief: social conditioning and reality.

Social Conditioning: Girls are raised to be sensitive, and like frilly things, and play with baby dolls. Girls can wear pretty dresses, and fancy panties of their choosing. Boys are raised to be tough, never cry, and fear all things pretty. A boy who likes 'girlish' things is teased and forced to hide his 'shameful' desired. Girls, in the important formative years are more free to be themselves. Many male diaper lovers say that diapers give them comfort and security... things most of us were denied, told that we just needed to "toughen up and be man."
Even as adults women are encouraged to wear lingerie, including rubber and vinyl panties. Guys are supposed to wear plain white briefs or boxer shorts. We're just not given enough 'fun' options, and that probably leads to our seeking out ways to express ourselves.
Women are free to put their hair in pigtails, dress like a schoolgirl and role-play with their partners... but what childish period did boys have? We went from diapers to underwear and pants... the same style of underwear and pants we're supposed to wear as adults. We have less choices in our role-play because men have less experiences.

Reality: Ever seen those commercials that say "Pads are like wearing a diaper!" They are true. At the age when most of us men started thinking about diapers and related clothing, girls were starting to get their period, and were regularly wearing pads. Women are also more likely to suffer from incontinence due to childbirth or frequent urinary infections... so ending up in diapers is more of a fear for most women than a desire.

Then there is the fact that men are just more perverted than women :)

More important than the number of women who practice this lifestyle, is how we treat all the women in our lives. Most of us will never find a women who is 'into' diapers and age-play before we get to them. But by respecting our partners, and meeting their emotional and sexual needs, they will be more likely to accept ours.

In short, don't ask your wife if she would wear a diaper for you unless the lawn is mowed, you took the trash out, and you've already done that thing she really likes in bed!
