Dear Daily Diapers Letter with Answer

Dear Daily:

Hello I Just turned 19 on the 8th of January and I've always loved the feeling of a diaper I always thought it was kind of weird because I was so different from everyone else kind of like living a double life and hiding it from my friends and family. Well it has always been very difficult for me to find diapers or buy them because my grand father is here all day my mom and dad come home from work and the only time I find time to even wear one is at night when everyone is asleep the last time I wore one was about 6 months ago and I had to steal it from a friends house I felt so embarrassed stealing from him. So my question is can I make my own custom diapers for now, is there anyway to make a diaper from house hold products, so I can make my own for now until I move out in the near future and buy my own.

Thank You! Jonathan

Dear Jonathan:

Even living with family it shouldn't be impossible for you to get real diapers. If you're in college you can buy them and bring them home inside your school bag. If you work, you can do the same with a gym bag.

As for making your own diapers: If you have the ability to do laundry discreetly, many diaper lovers start out by pinning a bath towel on themselves (folded to fit well. Make-shift plastic pants can be fashioned from small trash bags. Just tear small holes in the corners of the bag. Fit your feet through them and carefully work them up your legs (slowly and carefully so as to stretch the plastic only enough to make it fit. Tuck the open end of the bag inside the top of your diaper. It won't be leak proof, but it will keep wetness off your bed so long as you don't over wet the towel.
