Dear Daily Diapers Letter with Answer |
|
Dear Daily: I love wearing diapers and have for a long time. There are certain times though while wearing them that I kind of ask myself what I'm doing. Why are you wearing diapers like a baby? I even go to the extreme sometimes to throw my diapers out after that and then later have the urge to have them back, so I go buy more. I don't know if something is wrong with my
self-conscious or what. I have not had a lot of courage to let anyone know about my diaper fetish, except for an adult babysitting service I once went to for a weekend. If you have any suggestions on what I can do to keep me focused on wanting diapers I would greatly appreciate it. Dear Michael H., I've gotten a
lot of letters lately about guilt and shame in diaper wearing. Let me
assure you: It's perfectly normal. As children we are programmed by our
parents to see diapers as a bad thing. (Don't you want to use the potty
like a big boy?) We're also trained at an early age to not wet or mess on
ourselves and are told that doing so is "dirty" and something
only a baby would do. I don't know of a diaper-lover that hasn't
thrown all their diapers away at one time or another, only to regret it
when they have to replace everything. I have a medical need for diapers
and I have done it. (In my case throwing out all the specially-made and
fun items I had, trying to force myself to wear plain, boring and
uncomfortable diapers strictly for need.) On the other hand, if you feel like wearing diapers makes you a bad person, and you don't really want to do it... then I would recommend you see a therapist about it, like you would for any compulsion you wanted to get rid of. Finally, if diapers is such a compulsion that it prevents you from living a normal life, then you should definitely seek advice from a professional. No fetish or lifestyle should control you... but just about any fetish (that isn't harmful to others) can be a part of a normal life. © Copyright 1999 - 2008 DailyDiapers.com - All Rights Reserved.
