This is by far, the softest diaper I have *ever* worn (and I've been wearing diapers full-time since late 1984/early 1985)...it's softer than the ID-Slip and Riboslip.
I am particularly fond of this colour/design of this diaper. Instead of clinical white with the usual wetness indicator down the middle, this diaper is almost cream coloured, with lavender dotted rows that run up and down (similar to Tena Slip Maxi - medium ones, anyway).
I find the fit somewhat awkward, as the diaper has a tendency to slip off -- because of its incredibly soft design, it's damn-near impossible to get it to stay in place without using something such as the Abri FIX [http://www.saveexpress.de/save/index.php?cat=411&product=4139] or similar product designed to hold diapers and/or pads in place.
The tapes are great -- but God forbid you need to take the diaper off before a change is due (I am not one to willingly release my bowels into a diaper--though it has, and does happen to me from time to time), because you will NOT get these tapes to separate from the diaper without completely tearing it apart (due mostly in part to its super-soft exterior). So, adjusting the tapes is not possible with this diaper.
As for absorbency, I'm not one to stay in a diaper longer than required (I change when a change is due, or almost due - such as the tell-tale odour of caffeine emanating from my wet diaper) - so I as it stands I've never had a leak with these diapers.
For noise, it's not blatantly obvious nor discreet. If you're wearing loose-fitting clothing (pajamas, track pants, hospital pants, etc) then there will some tell-tale noise, but not as much as with an ID-Slip, Beesana or a Depend/Barme.
If you're willing to order from Germany (my orders have taken as little time as 6 days to reach the Greater Toronto Area), then give this diaper a try. You will *not* be disappointed!
All in all, this is a fantastic diaper, and I sincerely recommend it to anyone who has or chooses to wear diapers. |
