This has to be the best most babyish adult diaper I have ever worn. When you add the Baby Fresh Scent they smell just like pampers!!!! I cannot say enough good things about this diaper. The only thing I do not like is the price for the diapers, maybe ABU will reduce the price. |

I like the look and the feel. but if you wear one more than 4 Hr. it will bunch up, It tends to leak once this happens. The diaper it self is very loud even if under jeans. The diaper is verey hard to hide in public. it is bulky in the cruch. but i do love the looks. The tapes are very good once they sick they dont let go. and is vey loud when removeing the tabs, best way is just to slid off. |

The design is really what makes these diapers stand-out. They are identical to the Super-Dry Kids also by ABU but the design just makes you feel all comfy. They fit well for me and the I like the wide single tapes. They hold better than the smaller 2-tab faster approach. Only time that they have leaked for me is when I have already wet 3 or 4 times already.
Overall, a truly outstanding diaper to parade around in and show off. |

I received my first order today! The sampler pack so I went for the AB Cushies first. Looks were great however, the very first thing the tape pulled loose on one side. Got out my trusty repair tape and finished fastening them. I have them on now, tow pretty good wettings and they have not leaked yet! I will see how a third wetting in one holds up. Has anyone had the tape issue come up? |

These are by far my new FAVORITE diaper. Not the best for nights because of no waistband but still awesome. I like them better than Bambino because these are printed ON the diaper it is not just a sticker. The pictures do these diapers no justice. They arent as thick as others but the look and sound and feel of them more than make up for that. They took my leaking and one full wetting without leaking. The sound is AMAZING. They really do remind me of a pampers as I am walking. People will hear these but like I have found will not know where the sound is coming from so they won't care. The large tapes are the stickiest I have encountered and when U put them on the landing zone I had trouble getting them off. They are not coming off. If you haven't tried these yet I DEFF reccommend them. The price may be a lil steep but they are tottally worth it and I plan to keep going back for more. |

This has to be the best Adult baby diaper I have tried to date. The comfort and fit of the diaper is outstanding. The baby print on the diaper makes me feel just like I did when I was a real baby. I wet my diaper a couple of times while asleep and wokethis morning with no leaks. Since I have woken up I have wet a couple more times and the diaper is holding up very well. I will definitely be ordering more so I can spend more time in this wonderful diaper. |

These are the cutest diapers I've ever worn!!! I feel SO babyish in them, and when i ordered these I was in such anticipation. There are numerous positive factors to this diaper.
1. The tapes- 1 large tape on each side is cute and like a baby diaper, but sometimes it comes undone
2. The cutest, the pictures don't do it justice, and the baby fresh scent smells EXACTLY like pampers
The main problem I have with the diaper is it's capactiy. Before ordering cushies I wore Bambino diapers, which have the ultimate capacity. These diapers leaked after 2 full wetting and a half... I also find it sexually pleasing to fill my diapers soaked full with water, however the diaper could only hold about 2 cups compared the bambinos 6-7. |

These diapers are a very novel replica of the Albertson's Baby Basics Diapers and a novel look alike to Pampers Cruisers diapers. They are very comfortable as I am wearing one now underneath my big baby sleepers. They hold well because I wore one all day today and it did not leak however you could tell that I was wearing a diaper because of the crinkle which I minimized by wearing my plastic overpants over them. They are very well decorated as well. The tapes are better than the SDK (Super Dry Kids) model and They are resealable as long as you follow the diapering basics like not getting any powder or lotion on the diaper or the tapes prior to use. They are Expensive though at $22.00 USD for a pack plus $4.00 for the shipping but overall I give this diaper a modest 9 rating. I am not really an AB/DL par-say but I do wear diapers for a medical condition of overactive bladder that I cannot help. I have tried everything out there for it including operations and nothing has helped so I just bare with the embarrassment if people see me in a diaper, changing my diaper, or hear the crinkles of my diapers. |

The price, like everyone has said is the only setback to these, but I'm sure now that I am a ABU Cushies buyer for life!! I think this diaper is here to stay. |

I love been trying for years to find the perfect diaper, and I think I found them. The noise is awsome. The feel is great. The absorbancy is out of this world with a Tena heavy pad. What I do to increase the absorbancy is I take a Tena pad and make two slits on the pad wear it folds, and open the other part and make two more slis, then all the way and make the final two slits for a total of 6 slits. I then place the pad in the crotch area wear the cuffs end up front.
I found that in this way, they hold alot more. I have been reading about how any diaper leaks to quick, and this solves the problem big time. A little bit of advice from a DL which I am.
I love the cute print on these as well.
For the taping system, to make it permantly stay, after I put the tapes on, I then rub the tapes with moderate pressure over all the tapes length. That solves the problem of the tape coming off prematurely.
Done this way, I can pee in them all day long and NEVER worry about leaks. I also the using the Tena overnights, for a real good thick time in them. With overnights, there is no possibilty of leaks. Some more good advice from a satisfied DL to another DL. I love wearing diapers, there is nothing wrong with my bladder, I just love wearing them and peeing in them. I don't mess in them and when I have to take a poop, I lower down the back of the diaper to expose my bum and do my bussiness. Some more free advice. Peace

Ok, this diaper is for show only. I know, probably gonna get yelled at for being so blunt but these things leak every time I wet (talking first wetting here...). They do not fit right, I mean the 1 tape sounds cool but this results in looseness in the legs (thus the leaking) and just an overall feeling that they are constantly falling off.
The tapes themselves are a bit odd and need a firm press to get a secure fastening. The diaper has very little swelling after a wetting also.
And finally the cut is just all off on these. there is plastic that reaches my bellybutton however, there is no padding up that high.
Overall, another letdown by ABU... |

These diapers may look adorable, but that is all they are good for. We call the ABU cushie a play time diaper. If rolling around while coloring or playing with your soft friends looking cute is your goal, then cushies are for you. Don't peep in these diapers though, they leak and get clumpy with just one use. Not to mention, they are poorly made so all the cute diaper tape front, peels right off. I wish they had worked out better! ABU needs to improve the quality and performance of their products and not worry so much about the attractiveness. Maybe next time, ABU. |

Review by: Richard Cranium |
After reading some of the other reviews here, I am puzzled. I either have a batch of much more improved ABU Cushies or others have expectations so high that they will never be satisfied with any diaper on this planet!
The fit & comfort are surprisingly good. They are basically enlarged baby diapers. While I'm no Adonis, I believe anyone having fit issues with these diapers probably has physical fitness issues. On average, how many obese (actual) babies have you seen? Exactly.
While these aren't thick and as absorbent as Abena X-Plus or Molicare Super Plus, they are still leaps and bounds above Depends. After wetting, wearing all night and engaging in various "play activities", they have yet to bunch up like the aforementioned brands.
I did encounter a "pinhole" leak so far. It really wasn't a show-stopper. I wasn't wearing the diaper under clothing at that point, but I doubt a single drop under jeans would be the end of the world. In fact, the only kind of clothing I can think that a single-drop leak would really show, would also make it obvious to the world that they were wearing a diaper anyway.
These things have to be the loudest diapers ever. They make Depends look absolutely silent. Looks-wise, these are discrete under clothing, however the noise will be a dead giveaway--unless you happen to be walking along a busy Interstate highway during rush hour.
The two tapes are strong and sticky as Hell. I've refastened them once per diaper so far and they held up all night. The bold color print on the front of the diaper is actually a tape landing zone, so that helps with the durability quite a bit. I'd imagine that if you're trying to refasten these tapes a dozen times, then yes, they'd quit working. Likewise, if you are on the upper limit of the diaper's size and the tape doesn't quite reach the landing zone, then I'd see an issue here as well.
As for shipping goes, I cheated. I ordered these and picked them up at the warehouse same-day because they are local.

I got these hoping to be impressed. I was not. They fit great and, with my body structure, the fit is amazing! The single tape hold them snuggly in place...even over night and there is no droop, even when wet. And speaking of wet...do they ever suck for holding wetness! Two good wets and they are done. Not cool. I can saturate a bambino with 4 to 5 good wettings but these Cushies, I get 2 wettings and they leak. Not only do they leak around the legs but I found that the plastic backing to be extremely cheap and leaky as well. Several pinhole leaks in each of the 5 diapers I have tried from my first pack of ten. Garbage! Plain and simple. Bambino would do well to adopt the single tape design and run away with this "Best Adult Diaper" title. |

I finally got the chance to try these diapers and they are the best. the thickness on these is perfect I really feel like a baby especially with the cute pattern on the diaper. They remind me of pampers with the purple sides but without the cloth exterior. As for the noise, I love it they make so much noise I almost thought someone had heard it rustle under my pants at the mall. The other great thing about them is it's capacity I have flooded it twice and it has held up good, but just to be safe I wouldn't go much further than two good wettings. the tapes are cool with only two just like the pampers and huggies that I remember. ABU got it right with these diapers and I strongly recomend them. |

i love that is single tapes they hold well unlike some others i have had
they are very crinkly wich is a plus and if your not careful someone will notice in public but i kinda like the idea of that
unlike everything else they dont break up when you walk
they only hold one and a half wettings for me but i used a doubler with it and omg i was in heaven
i cant wait till i move in with my papa he is going to keep me and my furry brother in them when we are out and a bout and cloth diapers at home.
over all i say the best diaperi have found yet for me |

Review by: BlueEyes |
Having read some of the reviews here, I decided to buy the ABU Boosters alongside the ABU Cushies diapers, and during testing/evaluation would always use the ABU Cushies with a single booster in place. So configured, it is in my opinion that ABU Cushies are the best adult-diaper, overall, that I've ever worn, bar none.
On Comfort: I'm certainly not in the best shape I could be, but I'd consider my body to be about average for a runner type with a 33" waist and a height of 5' 9". In this regard, the Medium size ABU Cushies fit my body very well. They are quite comfortable dry or wet, and the lack of a faux-elastic band at the front or back does not affect wear in any way, either standing, sitting, or lying down, nor during activity. 9/10.
On Capacity: At the onset, it is easy to see that without a booster, ABU Cushies do not have the same capacity of Bambino, nor of the Abri Form X-Plus, and I could see where this could result in about two wetting maximum capacity. With the single booster, however, I've noticed a consistent capacity of four heavy wettings before leakage becomes a problem. However, I must also indicate that I have experienced less leakage than with Bambino, and the aft-end of the absorbant padding in the ABU Cushies, for whatever reason, absorbs better than the Bambino, especially while sitting - the Bambino seems to leak faster, before the back part of the padding absorbs wetness. For this reason, I give the rating 7/10, since the diaper on its own is somewhat lacking, but with a booster, I'd say 9/10.
On Leaks: As stated above, I haven't had as many leaks as I have with Bambino, but I've had more than with Abena's X-Plus. I give 8/10.
On Noise: Since the lower numbers indicate higher noise, I went with a lower number. The ABU Cushies are not as noisy as Bambino, with the firm plastic adding a LOUD crinkle wherever you go, but are louder than Abena's line. Make no mistake, these diapers are loud, and difficult to conceal as a result. You probably wouldn't want to be walking around outside if your objective is not to get caught. 3/10.
On Looks: The ABU Cushies adult diaper is without question the most baby-ish looking diaper I've ever seen. The playful coloring, as well as the patters printed directly ON the diaper are just amazing. Currently, I see no equal with looks, and the huge single tape per side enhances the look and feel so much more. 10/10.
On Fasteners: Having read some prior reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect with the tapes. I find them to be an absolute 10/10, since, once placed, they HOLD. During evaluation, it seemed to me that you could fasten, then pull off and re-fasten if you misplaced the tape and the fit wasn't snug. Once on and in place, left alone for an hour or two, the tapes are in place and it's going to take a maricle to get them off without causing excessive stress to the diaper. It is in my opinion that such good holding characteristics are highly desirable, since the likelihood of them popping off is next to zero, and I don't have much of a reason to continuously unfasten and re-fasten my tapes for any reason.
Overall Rating: 9/10. In this case, ABU has a winner. This adult diaper is the custest, most playful diaper you're going to find, and its design configuration calls back to disposables of the mid 1980's-early 1990's. Recall, again, that my review is based wholly on evaluation of the diaper combined with a booster pad. Only area for improvement I can think of is a slightly better baseline capacity (maybe more absorbant padding). Also, did not test scented ABU Cushies diapers; maybe next time.

This diaper brings me back to when I first started wearing disposable diapers. I mean when I started again at 8 yrs old. They remind me of the old original pampers from the way they fit to the one tape idea. I find it much easier diapering myself when you only deal with one tape on each side. I didn't have a problem with absorbency. I remember wearing rubber pants over the old ones to insure no leaking. I don't like sitting around in a diaper for 5 or 6 wettings. If they hold up through the night when I wet and don't know how many times I did thats all I worry about. The colorful design I could care less about. It's okay. I do feel a little more like a baby with that on there. I grew up in the all white diaper era, so really could care less. I think the one thing that really brings me back is that fresh pamper style smell. I always thought that was one reason I originally was kind of excited about regressing, but back when I started I always thought I was the only 8-10 yr old who liked not being potty trained, and that liked sucking my thumb or did all this at my age. This is definately my new diaper by choice. Of course, all done in secret, but I am older now and still enjoy the wetting, and I still suck my thumb. |

Review by: adrian |
it's a nice concept-- one tape on each side; but it's more of a recreational diaper than anything else.
THE GOOD:
Exceptionally crinkly/noisy under all clothing (never wear tight clothes over a diaper--unless you're looking to develop a diaper rash); and the decorations are nice change from clinical white/blue/purple (depending on your diaper and size of choice). Personally, I'm not an "AB", so I don't particularly care for the prints: I just like wearing a nice, crinkly/noisy diaper. The elastic leg-gathers are great. So many diapers are missing this feature.
The one-tape-per-side concept is both good and bad.
I'm sure my wife will think they're especially cute (she likes it when I wear noisy diapers to bed) because of the design.
THE BAD:
Extremely expensive! Did I mention how expensive these are?? Damn.
Absorbency level/ability leaves much to be desired. It's nowhere near as absorbent as Molicare Super Plus, Abena XPLUS or Bambino Classic (my top 3) -- at least, not from experience; and because of the one-tape design, the diaper is prone to leaks when you're sitting down (may I suggest plastic/vinyl pants over top). I would hardly recommend this diaper for anything other than recreational/"hey-I'm-wearing-a-diaper-and-don't-care-how-obvious-it-is" type moments (unless you've got money to burn on these diapers). And contrary to what others are saying, they're NOT bulky at all. They're just noisy, and have a great fit (I'm 37 & have been wearing diapers my ENTIRE life, so I think I know what I'm talking about).
In summation: it's a great recreational diaper; but don't rely on it. If you're incontinent, and want to spice up the mundane routine of being diapered 2/7, go ahead and add these to your rotation. But don't go buying a case and except it to perform like other, more reliable diapers (Abena XPLUS, Molicare Super Plus).

As one who's been wearing diapers his entire life, I find the overall concept of this diaper is interesting; but I think the manufacturer is missing the point that the reason adult diapers have two tapes (if not three) per side is because it's necessary for optimal fit and leakage protection. Perhaps -- and this is speculation, but perhaps if the single tapes per side were placed in the middle of the wing on each side of the diaper (instead of closer to the top), it might make give this diaper a properly fastened fit. As such, I find the diaper tends to leak at the curve/bottom of my bum if I'm sitting when my diaper becomes saturated/flooded -- even with a quality booster pad.
Personally, the noise/crinkle factor of this diaper doesn't bother me; and, admittedly, I prefer crinkle/noise over something "cloth-like" or "discreet", since neither I nor my wife could care less if it's obvious that I'm diapered (besides, no one has ever said anything to me, ever).
As well, I don't care for the prints on either versions of these diapers; I only wear them as a welcome change to the countless thousands of diapers I've worn over the years.
As for absorbency, I have had better experiences with less expensive, more clinically geared diapers (even the no-name overnight brand I buy seem to exceed in absorbency). Whenever I wear this diaper (or any ABU diaper), I always add a Tena Overnight pad (the white ones with adhesive tape on the bottom), which-- in addition to increasing bulk and noise, also increases absorbency quite considerably.
My overall impression of this diaper: if you're AB/DL, you'll probably love this diaper almost as much as the Riboslip Nacht; but as someone who wears diapers to stay dry, I'll be spending my money elsewhere. |

Overall a great diaper. Single tape version is great and you can have them as tight as you want if you don't get baby powder or oil on the tapes. I prefer the single tapes too because they are much stronger than the dual tapes I have seen and tried. They fit me good, but I am skinny. If you do get this diaper to use for incontinence, Themn I would recommend booster pads. For play though it can hold at least 3 small wettings without a problem. The look is cute and very babyish also scent adds a lot to the diaper. Also you could use a clear roll of tape if your tapes don't stick well due to baby powder of too many refasten-es. |

These are the first diapers I purchased, and I must say I am fairly impressed.
They are comfortable to sit around and play in. Movement is impeded, however they act as a cushion when you sit down on the floor. Its a bit too thick between the legs, a little less there would improve mobility 50% at the least.
Great leak control. Only leaked once, and that was because it had reached full capacity. IT can hold at least 3, sometimes 4 wetting. But no more than that.
It's far too noisy to wear outside, even underwear over it and jeans only reduce the noise a little. But inside the home these are awesome. the plastic is incredibly durable, (my dog tried to pull it off me and the plastic held up well against her for a few minutes. she had to try three times to rip it.)
The fasteners are the low point. They seal great and can hold up against hours of play even with multiple wetting. However, come changing time they are really hard to open, and often rip the diaper.
Looks wise, this is a playful and colorful diaper. It's happy, and makes me at least smile when I wear them.
Over all I give this a 7. The fasteners and noise are just too much of a joy kill to wear outside the house and make this one a pain to change. |
