Well I thought the new depends would not be as good as the depend overnights with the big tapes and the leak guards. Attends remind me of Huggies diapers they start out good when they are dry and as the diaper becomes more yellow you start to feel clammy. My pants felt clammy in Attends I had my diaper clothes on and the diaper wetness made me feel like was wet and these were Attends perma dry. I don't want to feel like I'm in a lake of the yellow stuff if you get the brand of diaper you can have some serious issues of diaper rash of the mind. You have to be able to do the urination thing without it hurting you or doing the bowel movements without being in any kind of pain. I was stunned by the new depends they are good because they have leak guards one of the best things about wearing diapers. Also they finally did it right with the agm ingredient that they claim turns wetness into a gel so it won't leak and cause odors. I don't think I diaper can take a girl's wetness or a guy's urine and turn it into a gel. The gel is the best thing I like about diapers. You can check your girlfriend's pants by doing various gel tests no I won't give them away because I don't trust everyone who reads this site. If parents don't know about the gel they shouldn't be using disposable diapers for their kids. Sometimes I think I'm smarter then the parents who diaper their kids. The new depends also have another hidden thing about them "Speed dry System" When you first go in your diaper it will feel wet but then speed dry kicks in and makes you feel dry and without any smells in the diaper. I give these a 91/100. Not having big tapes is a problem but if you don't get leaks that easily then these are good. Haven't had any leaks. Remember the gel won't hurt you if it is on your skin.

I was really surprised by these diapers. I felt that depend was poor quality in the past. I bought these on a whim and I was really surprised. Talk about bulk up when wet !!! They are really thin when dry but when soaked 5 0r 6 times they get really thick. I will buy these again. Still not my favorite diaper but it is third. I give these a 8/10 rating. And that is good rating coming from me, I am really particular about my diapers. A very good diaper at a great price.

The are the worst diaper that I have tried in a while I used to use the overnight ones all the time because they were thicker than the regular ones when they switched to the daynight in one diaper and discontinued the supposedly the day time ones and only made the night ones they had the night time ones for a while and then they switched to the daytime ones and jipped you on two diapers because they are not the thick ones. I wont buy these ones anymore go Tena on the super briefs.

Well, I have to say, depends finally got it together. I still think they need to work on the tapes, but other than that, I LOVE the diapers. As far as absorbency, forget it, these diapers wouldn't stand a chance against a small over flood, but put two of them together and it's a joy! Complete and total joy! Makes it seem like a nice thick diaper. On a grade level, I'll give it a C+ or B-, as it still needs work!

On the website for depend then do say the day and night max protection have odor control. But it is a weird smell when the diapers become wet. If they made depends more like Huggies it would be better. The problem I have with them is those tapes they are way too small and I ended up with a minute leak so that notched these down. They are not the best but not the worst new review score 80/100. The Speed dry works but not good enough. The overnight ones were better than these.

These are good diapers. I use them a lot. They are soft and crinkly and hold a lot without leaking. I also think that they made a good improvement on the tapes. Not as good as the wider overnight tapes, but better than what they had on the regular diapers. I also really like the leak guards, makes it a lot more like baby diapers.

They seem smaller than depends overnights, not to mention the padding also seems different. I wore one yesterday for 7 hours, and the padding in them separated. I think they are too noisy, and they should be thinker. They are a good last resort diaper, and I end up wearing them frequently, due to not being able to buy better diapers locally. They are good, but not he best.

These are much better than the depends of the past. I also think they made the s/m a little bigger than before. I have a 36'' waist and can fit into the smaller size just fine. The protection is great! These work much better than the daytime ones from long ago. If you are having leakage trouble, put a size 6 Huggies in for a soaker. I wore them this way and it held up for hours.

Well if it was possible for Depend to make a noisier less absorbent diaper, they've found a way. I've tried Depends in all its flavors and this has got to be my least favorite yet. It's thinner, even less padding on the wings than before (and that wasn't a lot to begin with), and the tapes-- well, the tapes now deserve a whole rant just by themselves. **IF** you can manage to get a diaper out of the pack without at least one of the six tapes grabbing the diaper next to it and ripping it out of the pack, then you will find, upon taping the diaper on, that they don't really stick as well as they used to. And if you pull 'em loose to re-fit the diaper later on, well, guess what-- that was a mistake: the tapes lose some of their stickiness and will pop loose under the least amount of stress. In other words, if you actually USE this diaper after you've refastened the tapes, you'd better have some cellophane/packing tape handy or it'll fall right off your ass. I'm currently drinking lots of water and beer just to pee my way through these ridiculous things, and I'm using Pampers 4 soakers inside, with plastic pants to hold em on, just so they don't leak. If there's anything good to say about em, it's that they still don't have the cloth-like backing everybody else has gone to. In summary, Depends have always kind of sucked but now they suck even more. If you want a noisy crinkly everybody-in-the-room-hears-it diaper, DepMaxProt's are for you. Otherwise, consider them for emergencies only.

In my job I am no where near a bathroom for 6-8 hours at a time, so the other day, sick of peeing in back lanes, I stopped by the local drug store to find a solution. I ended up getting a package of Depend Maximum Protection. This is my first experience with these Diapers, and I have to say I'm impressed. While they are noisy on their own, they become almost silent after you put on your clothing, and do become silent after they have been worked in for a few minutes. They offer a nice balance between absorbency, and thickness in that they disappear under loose fitting pants, but will handle a full 6 hours of wetting. The first day I tried them at work, I was terrified that I had the tell tail diaper leak on my back side, as I had wet them several times. However I was relieved to find out, when I got home, that they had performed well, and probably could have handled another wetting or two.

I have used the depends cloth diapers, all the different assurance diapers, and a couple of the cvs brand. These depends are by far the best. They will hold about 60 ounces of water or about 5 wettings without leaking even with my tight panties over them. The plastic even feels nice and smooth rubbing on my legs and doesn't cause irritation like the cloth like diapers.

These diapes are ok. They are the easiest to get ahold of and moderately cheap. They hold about 2 full wettings and work better doubled up or with a booster. They make a nice crinkle when walking and moving to remind you of what your wearing. I think they run a little smaller than advertised, so unless your really small I would suggest the large size to most people.

I kinda have to agree with all of the other posts. You need to be careful because they don't fit everyone the same. Quite a lot of people (Including me) will get leaks really easy, other won't. They do an ok job at absorbing and holding pee but aren't the best around. These diapers used to completely suck but now they only marginally suck. However, given their price and availability (and compared to store brands) they are better than most off the shelf diapers. They're definitely far from my choice of diaper, but to each their own.

I have only tried a few of the adult diapers out there on the market but I have to say these diapers aren't bad, they could be better, but they're not bad. Unfortunately it isn't very likely that P&G will ever make an adult-sized version of Pampers (which I'm sure the great majority of us would jump for joy over) they are the only diaper I have any really great familiarity with (I wore them for many, many years until puberty hit me and I could no longer fit into Pampers) and as such they are the benchmark by which I judge all other diapers. So to be a good diaper it has to compare with late 70's, early 80's Pampers. Depends are the right color (but could do without the wetness indicators), they are plastic-backed (which all diapers should be), but that's about where their similarities with baby diapers end. I think diapers should smell nice when they're fresh and clean (they don't have to smell like baby powder but it would be nice if they did [do you remember what a fresh Pampers smelled like when you pulled it out of the box or better yet when you peed in them and the smell of Pampers mixed with the smell of urine. A good diaper, not a great diaper.

I personally like Depend Briefs. These are the diapers I will typically buy. I have bought some store brands in the past and they just didn't work well for me (not right fit, leaks, etc.). Depend can be found everywhere. I wear diapers when I travel and have never had a problem with Depends leaking (and believe me they have been tested on long delayed flights). People don't seem to notice them under my clothing. I use to love Attends but now they are harder to find and I am sure there are other diapers that can be mail ordered that are great, but, if you want to go to your local store and buy diapers.... Depends are the best I have found.

This is a pretty good diaper, they have upped the absorbancy a little but they are still trying to make a thin diaper. I wish they would make 2 different ones, one for active people, that could be the thin one, and one that is thicker. These are pretty crinkly with a nice white outer cover. They hold a decent amount and have leak guards which is very nice. There are 6 tapes and an elastic waist band which helps with them fit very well. I wish they were wider in the crotch area and more absorbant and thicker. Also it seems like they sink down on my body and I have to pull them up a lot, which they'd make the waistband an extra inch and a half higher.

I don't care what everyone else says, this is a good diaper. There are many good points to this diaper. They are white and have a plastic outer layer. They hold well with no real leakage issures. These people that write about diapers only being able to hold 2 or 3 wetting are crazy. I say to them, go change yourself! Diapers are not made to hold a day full of wettings. These diapers are very comfortable, the three tapes on each side provide a good fit. I jsut wish they were sligtly thicker, this is my only negative point. Overall a very good diaper, one of my favorites.

I have tried these and was not impressed. I really was disappointed, being a daily bed wetter, the latex did nothing but cause me to sweat and was very loud. This is double annoying first of all if I sweat then the diaper absorbs all the sweat instead of the urine which leads to leaks. Second I know that I wet the bed, everyone else does not need to know that(needs to be a lot quieter). Frankly I am suprised Kimberly Clark would come out with such inferior products.

Ok for pee,but not great.
The plastic is nice, but it does not hold up to tapes being used,so I pull them of if I want to,crinkle is there, but people don't notice.
Holds in poo well.
Comfort is good.
Padding isn't much, but enough to show some bulges in certain clothing.
Although they're not great, they are easy to get.

There was another brand(don't know name) that I tried, the larger ones being blue and the smaller ones purple.
The purple one was slightly big for me,but not much, the blues being much biger,
The padding was thick, but did not stay together well, and there was some plastic blue thing twords the front inside on the padding.
The diapers/nappies were of the "cloth like" outercover,so the sides were not well protected having no plastic lining, the tape zone did not go all over the front,so if the diapers were kind of big, taping would not be so easy.

These diapers have a plastic outer covering, which is nice, but the covering comes way too far up (from my crotch to my belly button, yikes, I'm not a grandma!) I wish they offered a more brief style cut, but whatever.

These don't really get as snug/tight as the refastenables, but they hold just as much, which is about 3 good wettings. They are kinda thin and not as bulky as their refastenable brother.

They absorb pretty quickly.

This diaper is VERY crinkly, which is good or bad, depending on your locale of use.

Very good diaper, but the only thing it really has over the Depend Refastenable is that this diaper is plastic and not pseudo-cloth, and it's crinkly.

I wore them to the movies and the store and no one even cast me a second glance, as they were unnoticable. Overal great diaper. The three tapes are great. The lower one, nearest the thigh rips when it is too tight. They are very comfortable. I usually wear two for added thickness and to enhance my walk. They are really comfortable and are fun to lounge and crawl around in. There is alot of padding in the rear and crotch area. I love the wetness indicator. I wore two the other day when I was on a 3 hour road trip. I didnt even have to stop once to change. I managed to empty my 64 oz coke into them. I think that I counted around 8-10 small wettings and a couple big soaks during that time. They never started to chafe or even get cold and clammy. Great diaper. I had to stop at a store for some items and they did not leak or smell. When I took them off at the hotel I noticed that they had leaked some in the inner leg area of the leak guards. But overal the outer diaper was still dry and reusable. These diapers do not do so well if you soak them while laying on your side. The leak guards leak. Go figure. This is really the only downside to this diaper. They are fun to put 4-5 on and crawl/waddle around! Too bad the tapes are not reusable. The plastic outer layer does crinkle a little, but not loud enough for the world to know that you are wearing one.

Positives
+ easily acquired
+ discreet
+ somewhat comfortable (not as much as many others, sometimes hot/chafes)

Negatives
- not very absorbant (slightly better than before)
- leak sometimes (many don''''t at all, hardly ever, e.g. Secure x-plus)
- smelly if you can''''t change
- tapes frequently break
- noisy (some might like this, but if you''''re wearing depends you''''re clearly doing it for protection and desire discreetness rather than private satisfaction, where you''''d use a much better one)

I was going to factor in cost, but really it works out similarly. You either change often in a cheap and bad nappy or less often with a more expensive, better one. Therefore not really a positive or negative.
There are many better nappies; my review reflects this. On the whole an acceptable aid for incontinence but not so much for comfort and a slight fail of ''4''.

The tapes suck but once it is on good it held quite a bit. I went to a cvs looking for attends and was disappointed when they didn''''t have any. but when i tried them i was pleasantly surprised. the fit snugly and i only needed one from when i went to bed until 1030 the next morning. This is the only depend product that is any good. even the noise is decent. If you like the sound it crinkles quite a bit but is very easy to cover up.

Great overall diaper. Held quite a bit and I am sure it could have taken more but the problem is around the legs. The leak guards are not very well designed. These (especially for price)are one hell of a diaper. I took 3 major leaks before anything came out (by the back of the leg hole but that was it). I would have to agree though that the fasteners are poorly designed since they are using plain old tape. If you get the tape on nice, don''t really expect to change it too much because it will tear the plastic covering on the diaper and then the tape won''t stick again (you CAN change the tabs but it isn''t easy and I wouldn''t recommend it). Also there is not much breathing through the diaper so there is a little sweat problem but it is not too bad. One last thing is since it is a tape fastener be sure to be careful with baby powder as it will nullify the effect of the tape and it won''t fasten. Still overall these diapers are readily available, very cheap (got 20 for 10$), and easy to hide.

This is my number-one-choice for my diapers, or should I say, my adult sized pampers, next would be my attends with elastic waists. I would rather have the snugness of the makeshift elastic than not.As for that fantastic crinkleing sound when I walk, it really turns me on. When I''m outside in public I wear them under jeans and only I can really hear them. People around me don''t seem to notice or don''t seem to care. Maybe they have a sudden thought of disbelief and shrug their shoulders, maybe they know, and don''t say anything. This also turns me on, wearing diapers in public I mean. In closing I encourage everyone reading this to start wearing your diapers on a daily basis, I know I will, each and everyday from now on. Opps, I have to go and put on a fresh Depends diaper now, BYE.........

I think these are the best diaper you can get in at most stores since most only have the choice between these and a worse store brand.

The good: Excellent leak guards stop leaks and hold the diaper close to your legs. They probably won''t leak at all after a few normal wettings. The plastic backing is pretty sturdy and its nice to still have plastic as an option. The three tapes hold fine for me and can refastened a few times when you are putting them on. The padding does a decent job of holding up to wear.

The bad: They are thin which is great if you''re keeping them hidden but they need more padding on the sides. After a few wettings the small amount of padding has done its job and the diaper gets a loose when it should swell up like a baby diaper does. The padding will work its way down to the crotch and you will start having leaks, or worse the diaper will come apart. The largest size is really too small for me and fits too snug everywhere. Sure they could wrap around an elepahant but they don''t go up high enough and are always sliding down. If I take a big number 2 I usually have some come out the top of the back.

When I am wearing these I usually put a size 6 pampers in them with holes in it. With this stuffer they can really old alot of wettings.

Words cant even describe how comfortable these are. I would normally feel too excited about wearign diapers to bed that i can''''t sleep, but these areso comfortable and relaxing that i fall asleep immediately. You really have to squeeze them to get them to leak and even though they crinkle a good deal, i rated them high on the noise scale because i like the crinkle :-P. They look pretty acurate to how a baby''''s diaper looks o a real baby, and are flattering. And its funny to say, but they are quite stylish. The fasteners could be a little better, but they hold for a long time, even after repeated tapings and un-tapings.

I am a dl, and am not incontinent. I have been using these diapers for about 2 years now ever since i found them in a K-Mart. One of the major reasons i like these diapers so much is that they are widely available at many places around my town. I have found them at K-Mart, CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Market Basket, Rite-Aid, Brookes, and almost any other convenient store or super store.

Positives
1:Widely available, and at a good cost. $14 dollars for 20 diapers.
2:Very Comfortable, i have worn some other diapers and these are the most comfortable. I run a lot and do races all the time and i always run in diapers. I haven''t gotten a rash or anything. I love to just hang around the house and sleep in these diapers.
3:Great Capacity, i have wet these diapers up to 4 times before i have had to change them. You can also flood them in any position without them leaking(standing, sitting, lying down, on your side). They also have plenty of room for poop in the back, sometimes when i feel like it ill take a suppository and the diaper will hold it all whether it is very runny diahrrea or a very solid poop.
4:Noise, these diapers are at the perfect point for me as i love just a little bit of rustling in my diaper. For any ab or dl it is plainly visible because of our attuned senses toward the sound, but for your average person they wouldnt hear a thing out of place if you were walking right next to them.

Negatives
1:Looks, if this matters to you and you want a nice plain diaper that holds a lot but is discreet this is the one for you. But if you want a more colorful baby-like diaper you will want to look for a different diaper. ex, bambino.
2:Tapes, the tapes on this diaper are very sticky but that comes into play once you wet the diaper you may want to refasten the tapes in a different arrangement but after the tapes have been set for a little while they will rip the diapers plastic cover when they come off. They also may rip off the back of the diaper where they are attached if you have the diaper to tight.

Overall this is an extremely good diaper for its availability and low price and is well worth it. The drawbacks to the diaper are minor at best and can be easily tolerated.
I give the Depends Maximum Protection a big thumbs up. 9/10

Okay, I''ll start by saying I haven''t been exposed to many different kinds of diapers, but I bought a pack of these yesterday because they were the only thing available at the time of the purchase.

These are really comfortable. The plastic is soft, which means less crinkling (I like that as a closetted wearer) and the wetness indicator is pretty awesome too. The minescule amount of crinkling is what earns it a 9 in my book.

They get a four for looks because of their plain white make. I like them that way, but I know some AB''s like a baby-ish print. There''s a bit of green for the leg guards and the waist elastic and that''s about it for color.

The fasteners get a five. They aren''t readjustable. These are terrible if you have to put them on standing up- you won''t get them very secure. However, get them on and the fit is snug and the tapes hold until you want it off (wait until it needs to be taken off before you try or you''ll rip the diaper).

Overall, these get an 8 because I have leaked (although that was my fault for reasons I won''t disgress), and they don''t really swell up as nicely as I''d like them to. They''re actually very baby-ish if you''re shooting for the plain white look. Overall, it''s not a bad daytime diaper, but if you''re a heavy bedwetter, this probably isn''t going to work for you.

I know Depends usually receives a lot of negative reviews, but coming from an unbiased perspective, not as a DL or AB or anything of the kind, Fitted Maximum Protection definitely serves their basic purpose on a much higher level than say...Depends Protective Underwear, but basic purpose is all. Wetting wise, it held one continuous wetting of a mega-bladder with very, very, very minimal leakage that wouldn't even show. I'm personally not a big fan of noisy diapers, so that was definitely a negative in my opinion. They're very plain to look at, which is understandable, as they're marketed as a medical product, not catering to peoples' fetishes, so I'm neutral on that one. The biggest problem I had was the tapes; they're good tapes and hold the diaper together well; so well in fact that when I tried undoing them several hours later, they actually tore the diaper, which wouldn't have been good if I was just trying to adjust them instead of change it. Overall, I gave this diaper a 6/10.

Disclaimer: This is only the second brand I have tried, so I can not be a truly fair judge, however, I do feel that I have given my best attempt at a fair rating after doing quite a bit of reading on several other brands.

As far as comfort goes, they are not "super comfy" but they are not at all uncomfortable either.

Capacity. As far as liquids go, they hold quite a bit, not a surprising amount, but for a light wetter, it could easily last several wettings. For really heavy wettings they may only last one or two.

On the leaks front, even after a serious wetting, they seem to be able to pull they're weight, for sitting, standing, and walking, but if your going to be lying down for more than a half an hour anything more than a light wetting will find its way out. I have sat in one after a heavy wetting for almost 3 hours before they started to leak, and it was a small enough leak that it would not be visible to people around you.

Noise: I live with 3 other people who are (or pretend to be) unaware of the fact that I wear diapers, so noise for me is not something I can enjoy. These do have a definite crinkle to them, but can be easily, and almost completely, muffled with clothing.

Looks: They are somewhat plain, with almost no color other than a green or blue liner and wetness indicator. They aren't the ugliest, but they wont win any beauty contests either.

Fasteners: These come with six tape tabs. The tabs take a little getting used to, as once they are fastened there is almost no adjusting them. The adhesive on the tabs will stick quite well, and have never come undone on me, but if you remove them to adjust it they very quickly lose their 'stick'. You have to get it right the first time with maybe one adjustment per tab if you do it in the first few seconds.

Overall: I gave them an overall rating of 7, as they are definitely no where near the worst on the market, and are great for someone's first. And they have the added bonus of being readily available at almost any chain drug store or Walmart in the U.S. and several other countries, which can be helpful in situations like mine, where having them delivered is not really an option.

I have been wearing Depend products off and on since the late 80s and they have been better. These are good if you can't find Attends or Abenas or Senior brand diapers. They are very thin, but swell up nicely when wet. They are very quiet until wet in and the inner core tends to break down under stress. The tapes, once fastened, will not come off, and if you try to take them off, they pull the plastic backing off with them; so once you untape this diaper, it's done... you can't re-fasten. They are reasonably priced, and seem to be a couple of doillars less than they were ten years ago.

I bought a pack of these a few years ago and am trying on the last one I saved. Compared to the Molicare and Bambino diapers I have been wearing lately these feel quite thin. However, they are soft and very comfortable to wear because they have three tabs. They don't hold as much as the Bambinos and the tabs leave something to be desired when it comes to stickiness. I recommend these for when you want to wear a diaper but want to have more mobility than in a thick, premium brand diaper. These also work well if you have trouble sleeping in a thicker diaper.

In defense of Depends

OK, so it’s easy to dislike Depends: They’re not very absorbent, leak like hell, not thick at all, and the tapes end up destroying the diaper if you even look at them wrong.

But the Depends fitted maximum protection diapers have some definite strengths, and some of those aforementioned “weaknesses” are features, depending on your preferences. For one, it is a nice-looking, pure white diaper – it is very obviously and unashamedly a diaper. It is krinkly and loud as any diaper available, which some people (including myself) really prefer. I mean, you can hear even hear them rustling under jeans! They have three tapes so you can get them to fit pretty well, the tapes never come undone, and they’ve got dual waistbands which really helps keep smells in. I’d be reluctant to mess an Abena X-plus say in close company in public, but a Depends keeps it just beneath obvious. Also, I kind of like it when a diaper leaks a bit – it makes it feel more vulnerable and exposed when I know there are small dark patches starting to appear on my pants, and I don’t like to change before I know the diaper is really “done”. Conversely, you’d have to wait all day to flood a premium diaper to the point of leaking, unless you were drinking an awful lot. 3 litres of fluid takes a long time for kidneys to process, let alone to drink!

And don’t forget: Unlike every other premium diaper out there, Depends are CHEAP, and you can buy them whenever you want at any decent drug store. No waiting for the shipment, no shipping charges.

And for those of us that don’t like its thinness or low capacity, there is a cheap and pretty effective solution: The Depends Boost inserts! They are a little more difficult to find than the diapers themselves, but not too tough to come by (Fred Meyers in Washington, for example, usually has them). Adding two inserts, slightly offset front to back, to a regular brief makes it instantly thick, especially in the butt – and without the weird crotch-bulge frontal thickness you get with some of the premo-diapers. Once wet a diaper-with-inserts swells up even more and the seat really fills up tight, making for a very obvious diaper-butt. Not to even mention the puffy fullness when they’re messed in too. Doubling up two depends, with an insert each and poking holes in the inner brief, is wonderful too. You get instant waddle, instant diaper-butt, and the double-diaper double-insert combo gives you a wetting capacity quite similar to the high end briefs like Abena X-plus, or Molicare Super-plus (but not quite the enormous maw of the Dry 24/7’s). They also retain the ability to leak a bit even before actually reaching capacity, which – again, if you’re into a little leakage like me – is ideal.

My point is – don’t discredit the good ol’ Depends entirely. If you want an inexpensive readily available diaper that’s hard to hide and still works pretty well, then get you some Depends and get the Boost inserts. They are not a “distant third” to the more expensive diapers, just different.

At first I was a little iffy about getting these diapers I usually get pull up types. The diaper is easy to find and affordable, they fit well under clothing and don't seem to make noise when under jeans or pants. However there is some noise when wear without clothes as well as when you’re putting them on they make a lot of noise. As far as leaking they do pretty well, if worn properly I haven't had them leak. It seems if they do leak; it is from not having them fasten tight enough around the leg holes. when they are fasten properly I have had good luck with them even having multiple very public "accidents" I’ve wet them while standing, sitting, and lying down. So far as long as I’ve had them fasten properly I have had no leaks even when empting a very full bladder into them.

These are decent diapers. If you wet them slowy over the course of time they will take a good amount. If 2 are combined with a stuffer or 2 they will easily hold a 3 liter enema. I dont know how much liquid 1 holds but they need more absorbent material by the crotch. they fit well and with a thick loose pair of jeans they will be undetectable if the top of they is folded under. The tapes will rip the front plastic os get it on right the first time. If care is taken they can be removed like pullups. If you are a side sleeper they may not be the best. It may be that I still have trouble wetting infront of my girlfriend in bed. The diaper leaks less if you wet laying on your back or stomach. After extended wear the absorbent layier clumps a bit and stops the wetness from wicking as far as it should. Also after a while the elastic leg gathers pull away from the diaper itself. These are the diapers that I currently use because they can be found anywhere and they can be conceled well. I hope this review helps. Enjoy the wet dreams...

I havent had the luxery of buying a plethera of other diaper brands. As of right now they are the only diapers that I were. they are comfortable to wear for long periods of time, but the gel will clump preventing the diaper to spread the liquid so after a while only the crotch will absorb liquid. Two of them with a booster pad can hold about a 3 liter enema with some leakage. Alone the diaper will hold a good 3-5 wettings. They will leak under the inside of your thigh. More if you are standing with no intentions of sitting. I have a 32 in waste and weigh 142 the med fit great. I made the mistake of buying a package of large diapers. they did fit though just don't tape the last tapes they'll stick to your leg hair. They are relatively crinckly. A person would be able to hear your diaper with 1 layer of loose fitting jeans. They bulk up when wet but don;t show it too much. They are plain white with a blue wetness indicator. There are 6 tapes in all. They are only refastenable if done about within 30 seconds of taping. The diaper tapes will stick to and rip the plastic. Use more powder around your butt and hips they will stick abit to your skin.

They are noisy, very thick for store bought diapers, and the tapes will hold on forever. I dont use them for their intended purpose, but we have gotten them pretty wet with ice cubes, and they didnt leak, but they did seem to swell up a bit. They also have a cute blue wetness indicator.
They are also very comfy, as I've fallen asleep in them before. :) I would recommend this diaper if you are just getting into the ab/dl scene, and need something cute, protective, and humiliating, but NOT if you want them for public use or discretion. They are very noisy, and rather bulky.

This was the first diaper that I have worn. I wore them due to the medication that I was on, made me wet a lot. The first night that I was on the medication, I almost wet the bed and my mother went out and picked these up for me. I first wore them back in 2004. They worked well, but sometimes, I woke up with a lil wet spot on my bed. After that, my mother orderd Molicare and Abri form and those worked really well to hold all my night wettings without me getting up to change. After I was off the medication, I still wanted to wear and got Bambinos. Those are by far my favorite =D I ran out of those last week and picked up another package of Depend Maximum Protection. It is 2011 and they changed the packageing and made the end of the tapes and stretchy waist band a nice light blue color. I wore them today when I dropped my girlfriend off at the bus stop (she knows but doesnt like me wearing diapers). I wet it and it held a flood, but didnt retain well compared to the Bambinos. The tapes fall off and need to use packaging tape to hold it on. They are very thin, but comfy. The noice level is decent, but not nearly as loud as Bambino. Over all, I like that I tried them after all these years and will go out and have fun with them on =D

I enjoyed these diapers. They crinkle a lot, which I like, but if you want to wear them out just put some underwear over them with jeans and it'll muffle the diaper. I didn't pee in them enough and I never go #2 in diapers, so I left capacity and leaks blank.

They are fairly plain, so if you're looking for a more baby-ish diaper you might want to look elsewhere. And make for damn sure you get the tapes right the first time around or within about 30 sec of fastening them. If you don't then they WILL NOT refasten at all.

Overall these served the purpose I was looking to serve (which was just to wear a decent diaper that fits well).

The ratings I gave were based upon the use of a single diaper, but the remainder of this narrative will be related to the use of a doubled Depends. On the advice of other writers on this site, I cut a seam through the middle of one Depends, and then strapped another Depends on top of that. It made all the difference. Improved leakage control, improved snug fit (which I like), and (obviously) improved capacity. Surprisingly, I did not have to supplement the tapes at all - I thought I would have to add some packing tape to hold the double package, but the Depends tapes held (even overnight) just fine. I have to concur with other writers that doubling store-bought brands may be the most cost-effective way to go (even compared to premium brands, as I am a previous Bambino user). Based upon this experience with Depends, I believe that other store brands referenced and reviewed on this site would hold up well, relative to price, when doubled, as other reviews have indicated.

Wow. I just found a pack of Depend Max absorbency from before the green and orange pack. Its in a reddish pink What happened to Depend? They used to make a very nice diaper. Still looks the same, but is softer, slightly thicker, and seems to be more absorbent. And the waist bands actually work. They've gone way downhill lately.

I was in CVS and decided to try these again after swearing off Depends forever. They were on sale for like $4 so I had to pick them up. Some kind of clearance sale I guess. I found that if I poke holes in a Depend Guard and use it as a booster pad in addition to using an Attends Booster Pad it can hold a surprising amount of urine. It was able to handle a drunken bedwetting quite well without any major leaks. I have no idea how many times I pissed myself during the course of the night but when I woke up my bladder was completely empty, the guard was soaked, the booster pad was soaked, the diaper itself was drenched, but the protective bed pad I use on top of my sheets was bone dry. I did notice some very slight leakage around the left leg but nothing major. Plus considering I drank a 12-pack of beer the night before I think they did a damn good job. I wouldn't dare trust a Depend brief by itself but with additional protection it is actually a really decent diaper.

I don't understand why so many people say that this is a bad diaper. It holds a few floodings and if you double them up they hold even more. I have used these several times, mostly cause they are so easily available. The tapes hold true to where you stick them, they are plain white (like baby diapers), and they have a nice crinkle sound to them. I enjoy these and would recommend them to anyone out there looking for a diaper that makes them feel 'babyish'.

OK! I like how this diaper reminds me of a noisy baby diaper but it does not hold alot and i would like to have a diaper that has the same comercial use but better value. I only use depends as a last resort

After taking a break from adult diapers I decided to give these a try. Especially since they are the easiest diapers to find :-P After using a couple I can say that they hold pee really well. About 2 or a little more wettings and no leaks so far! The first day I used them I took a decent size poop in them and they held great. The tapes on these are not so good. The top tapes come undone after a couple of hours of wear. Overall though not a bad diaper compared to other bargain brands.

Leak in your home plumbing, this will do the trick.
The Depends Maximum Protection diaper is actually quite a paradox in the name

Comfort: You won't know you're wearing this diaper, as the plastic is very thin, and the absorbent fluff is also very thing.

Leaks: Yeah, sorry, but this is a one-wet diaper only. And even then, you'd better be on your toes with that. This is more of a, I laughed so hard, I let out a little pee, diaper. Not much more

Noise: It's a noise diaper, no less, but Its not really noticeable.

Looks: Entirely plain, except for a green tint to the tapes and top elastic.

Fasteners. 3 tapes for a reason, and if you squeeze into this diaper, those tape may actually rip the plastic.

3/10, This is definitely a liner diaper.

A fun diapy to wear that you can buy from the store. I feel really comfortable slipping into one of these diapers and wearing them in public because they aren't too bulky. For me the diaper sits a little bit above my boxers so I have to be careful not to bend over too far. As far as functionality goes, I rarely wet in public because of leakage worries but making a little boom boom is easily concealed. Overall, I wish the diaper had more leak protection so I could comfortably wear it in public wet or messy! For being an easy access diaper at the store, you can't beat it : )
