These are great diapers! I found them at a store in W. Dallas called Diaper Mart. They are made in Mexico and this seems to be the only place to get them in my area. They are very comfortable and hold 2 or 3 moderate wettings. I like the way they swell up when wet. When wearing, it looks very thick and padded. They are reasonably priced, $7 for a 10 pack (XL size) or $27 for a case of 6. I WILL be buying more! Comperable (if not better than) old-style Depend and Attend brand diapers. Review by: Would Love to be in Pampers |
After peeing my way through 60 of these diapers, here are my thoughts.
They're plastic on the outside, which is just how I think a disposable diaper is supposed to be. Thus, they're rather crinkly as a result, which is a good thing, as I expect a fun little crinkle from my diaper when I sit down and move around, etc. They're crinklier than the newer Attends whose plastic is a bit quieter than it used to be.
They have four narrow tapes, and taping zones at the front along the sides. But I think adult diapers that have taping zones should have it all the way across the front, instead of just along either side. Otherwise, the tapes may go past the taping zone depending on the person's size and will have to be stuck to the regular plastic, where they'll tear the plastic if removed. So, I had to fasten one side on the taping zone, and the other side past the zone in order to get a snug fit while being able to refasten the one side if necessary. Once fastened, the tapes hold pretty well.
At first, I was disappointed that these are so thin, but they're more absorbent than they appear. They'll take two to three good wettings before they're full; I estimate about as much as an Attends. But these don't feel much thicker than underwear, so they can easily be worn under most clothing without detection except for the moderate crinkle. I think that thick is better than thin, though.
They have no elastic at the waist, so they tend to gape at the top "like one of those saggy diapers that leaks" (remember those Huggies and Luvs commercials from the mid-'80s?) Except these don't actually leak too much until they're close to their capacity. They have inner leak guards too, so why not some waist elastic while they were at it? At least the elastic leg gathers fit snugly around the butt, which is better than some diapers can manage.
These are very inexpensive, are made in Mexico, and I got 6 bags of 10 mediums for about $30.00. Although they're not the perfect diaper, they're one of the better cheap diapers I've run across. I probably won't buy again though, because I want more features in a diaper, like thickness, elastic waist and a different taping system. |

Two weeks ago, I stopped in and bought more of these diapers, I have grown very fond of them. I was disappointed to find that they changed. They now have a cloth-like covering. They are still just as comfortable and absorbent as before. I don't know if I will buy more. |

i bought these on ebay they are great diapers, very absorbent. they are very, very noisey. they have a tape landing zone. the only problem is that you need to get a size smaller than you are. so if your a large get medium. if you get a size to big the tapes will miss the landing zone. |

| 10 is the best rating, 1 is the lowest. For leaks, 10 is the fewest leaks, 1 is the most. For noise, 10 is the quietest, 1 is the noisiest. For looks 1 is the plainest, 10 is the most colorful and decorated. |
