I preface by mentioning that I am a very TOUGH CRITIC of all diapers.
Size 6 is BIGGER & LONGER than Size 7 Pampers Cruisers, and Benetton size 6 is considered to be the LARGEST toddler-size diaper ever made. However, UNLIKE cruisers, BENETTONS'' velcro side tabs DO NOT TEAR from the diaper core (the long rectangular absorbent section), so Benettons are MORE DURABLE when they are stretched to fit an adult-size waist.
Benettons have been incredibly hard to find after they were discontinued several years ago, so they can only found on eBay & can be quite pricey. Each size is a different color (Size 6 is red) & ADORABLE decorations all over the smooth, semi-crinkly, semi-plastic outer cover. However, it''s hard to see how wet and where the wet padding areas are located, because the dark red outer cover, and it sags a little bit when wet.
After some modifications (wrapping duct tape around waist to connect the side tabs): making sure the elastic is very snug around the waist and against the crotch areas, Benettons can handle a good adult soaking with minor or no leaks at all while sitting down (the ultimate test). While Benettons don''t crinkle as loud as & absorbent padding is not as soft as vintage plastic baby diapers, these are worth buying and trying-out! |
