Have raised two children as well, and my wife and I always kept the diaper activities private in our bedroom, so as above says keep those parts of your life separate.

Growing up in the 50s, I was a cloth diapered baby, I made my make shift diapers out of soft cotton, what was then called sheet blankets, and other soft baby blankets I had access to. As an adult, my wife now makes diapers out of actual diaper flannel and wear plastic pants purchased from various online vendors. Diapers have been an important part of my life since about age 5 and the desire has never gone away.

Around 60 flannel cloth contoured shape diapers and 8 pairs of different types/patterns plastic pants

I used what was back in 60s called sheet blankets, thin cotton blankets with napped surface and also used baby blankets/receiving blankets as well.

Was on comco website yesterday, and they no longer offer any of their opaque plastic pants, there is a notification on the web site that tells the user that.

Love my cloth diapers to be soft and dry.
