I have been on DD for a few years now and this is my second time writing my about me page.

For those who don't know me here's a little about myself.  When I was 10 years old I was severely burned in an explosion back in 1990.  I recieved 3rd degree burns to 98% of my body and wasn't expected to survive.  My burns are so severe I am one of an estimated 3-4 in the world to survive such severe burns.  For example i have attended the World Burn Congress 5 times and each time i have been the survivor with the worst burns. 

But not all burns are the same, i'm very lucky that my vision was unaffected.  My hearing was damaged and my hands and feet were amputated bleow knee and below elbow.   I have been through a lot over the years but i persevere.  I'm currently writing a book about my experiences and hope to have it published within 5 years. 

I have liked diapers since I was 5 but after i was burned i actually ended up needing them for a few years.  For 5 years I had 24/7 bowel problems and was diapered only during hospital stays.  By all logic i should have been diapered at home too.  Luckily i regained control when i was 15. 

Because i'm an amputee this makes it hard to self diaper.  I tried back in 2001 to diaper myself with different types, pullups, etc, but had no luck.  And if i tried it now it would be even more difficult because my breathing has diminished the past 10 years due to affects of scoliosis.  The last time i actually wore was august, 2002 when i met somebody from online who offered to help.  It's been wayyyyy too long and hope i can find somebody again soon.  A mommy would be nice but i'm not one of those guys who goes around begging every female i see to be mine mommy.  If it happens it happens.
