Another person traveling towards Incontinence

It's embarrassing, that's why I never mentioned it. The nurse was on the job training. After that nothing will be going up there as I have learnt my lesson but it was not a home made botch job, it was a shop bought fetish sounding rod. I am thankful for all your replies and support, even if it may be self inflicted but hopefully I get sorted soon good luck with your training. -

Symptoms weren't as bad this morning and I could feel my bladder and surrounding muscles. Felt good to exercise them abit Went to the doctors. He thinks it's overactive bladder. He is referring me to a urologist for exams to be carried out. Test all came back fine; no infections, UTIs or stds. He said the reason why I couldn't feel my bladder etc yesterday was because of bladder and urethral spasms which caused urge incontinence. He thinks this is down to an accident I had previously, a few days before all this started. Kind of embarrassing but here it goes. My partner and I are always exploring new things in the sex department. We tried sounding. I have played with catheters before so I didn't see it as a big risk or anything. Unfortunately, the rod got stuck and I couldn't remove it. Felt like pressure was keeping it inside me anytime I tried to pull at it. Ended up in a&e and a nurse just yanked it out. Although there was no blood or anything and I peed fine in the hospital before leaving, the doctors thinks it might be down to this. Not going to lie, face was beetroot but such a relief to get it out and the nurse got a wee giggle too but I told her it's better than having someone dieing in front of you, trying to see the funny side to it. I'll let you all know what happens at the urologist appointment. Pilot -

I'm baffeled by it all too. Have done periods before of 24/7 on and off. Have I messed by bladder up? Who knows but I'm sure I'll find out what's going on tomorrow and I'll keep you all updated. It sounds like I have a catheter in but I don't. It's hard to describe the feelings. It's like my bladder has disappeared along with the muscles. When I try and squeeze my muscles closed nothing happens? Because of this and the bladder spasms pee dribbles out all of the time. Whenever I am standing or walking I can't feel my bladder fullness and I can't feel the pee coming through the pipes, more so just the heat in the diaper. I have tried googling but no results have returned which match my symptoms. I'm finding out tomorrow anyway so I'll let you all know what it is. I only meant that last comment incase someone tried to say im bluffing. I didn't directly aim it at yourselves Pilot -

That might seem like some kind of fantasy crap but I can tell you all now.. It's not. -

I don't want to hijack this thread but I thought I would give an update. I decided I would continue wearing diapers. I now have urge in continence. I have not been diagnosed but I'm going to the doctors tomorrow. Basically, my bladder feels like it is spasming all the time, has been all day today and I am constantly leaking small dribbles. Then when I don't expect it I flood my diaper. I have now got no feeling of my bladder and what is even worse is when I try to stop the flow of pee nothing happens. It's like my brain is trying to communicate with a dead sphincter muscle. The only time I seem to have control is when I am sitting down. And then when I stand up my diaper feels warm. Don't get me wrong I don't mind it but it will take a while for me to adjust to possibly having to wear diapers all the time. I actually feel kind of afraid now when I'm not padded. I don't have any UTIs, infections or STDs as far as I am aware. Does this seem familiar to anyone else who went 24/7? Pilot -

Just a quick question Spargano. I'm off work this week and again im diapered up. For the last 4 days I have just let loose in my diaper. Anyway, I was peeing and thought I would see if I could stop it/weaken the flow even more and when I tried to clench my external sphincter it hurt. It hurt that much I bent over in pain and grabbed my abdominal area until it automatically unclenched itself. The pee flow was restricted for less than a second. Have you any experience with this or anyone else? One other thing. I was changing my clothes and diaper when I coughed and I ended up peeing a little, maybe about 1oz without any control or being able to stop it. I never felt it coming either and didn't have an urge to pee. I'm guessing it's stress incontinence but from the above does it sound like my pelvic floor muscles are weakening? At this stage I don't know whether to continue or stop. Pilot -

Thought I would add my 2 cents into this discussion. I'm a healthy 23yo male with a very clean medical history, apart from bedwetting when I was younger that stretched a few years but I outgrew that. My bladder I feel at times can be made of steel and I can go for a very long time without peeing. Anyway, recently, I had time off work and both my partner and I decided I would just wear nappies for the time I was off work. That brought some interesting consequences. Within 2 weeks of wearing and using nappies (i used abri form x-plus) I found I developed what seemed like urge continence. I got severe cramps everytime I needed to pee, almost like my bladder/abdominal area was on fire. Because of the pain I couldn't hold it any longer and peed. One particular instance I was in the car driving home and got the burning sensation and cramps and knew I needed to pee. I managed to hold my pee in until I got out of the car but as soon as I stood up out of the car, I peed myself without any control and couldn't stop it. Bedwetting also came back and I bedwet within 2 weeks too. So, in my opinion, yes, I think this does work and for some it might take longer than 12 months and for others, might take less. Pilot

Hey all, Just wanted to spread the word as the media aren't doing a very good job. The northern lights may be viewable in the UK tonight and tomorrow night. The more northern you are the better your chance of seeing it. It's down to the recent high activity of solar weather and the recent outburst of solar flames from the sun. Anyone else keeping their eyes peeled on the sky tonight? I just hope the weather doesn't ruin it. We all know what the UK weather is like. Pilot

Wearing 24/7 leads to bedwetting?
pilot_of_a_plane replied to pilot_of_a_plane's topic in Our Lifestyle Discussion
How dare you jump ontop of other people's back like that without doing any proper research. That comment had angered me. I for one and such will not and never come onto a board and pretend something to enhance my "fantasies". If you really want to I can get my partner on here to bust your little theory as he is living proof. I shouldn't have to explain myself to you anyway but since you appear to be ignorant and I want to bust your little bubble, I will! After some careful research which I completed myself I have found the cause to be coffee. The bedwetting was only happening on nights on and off and the nights that it happened I had a cup of coffee before bed. The caffeine must irritate my bladder and because I sleep like a rock, causes me to bedwet. So, toddler junior, before coming on here and jumping on people's back ranting sayings it impossible and is a fantasy, go and do some proper research first but since you appear to know all already you should know that everyone's body is different and everyone will have different results upon what they do. Just because you haven't had any results, don't go and start shoving crap down other people's throats because you're jealous. You honestly don't understand how infuriated I am and I will probably get told off by a mod for this post but I had to say it. Regards, pilot -
Wearing 24/7 leads to bedwetting?
pilot_of_a_plane replied to pilot_of_a_plane's topic in Our Lifestyle Discussion
Thanks for the replies. Well I have studied over the past few nights and noticed that it occurred to me twice, overnight between 21/22 and overnight between 22/23 but overnight between 23/24 it didn't occur. Strange. -

It is such a great feeling when you achieve something that you want forced to wet. I know that myself too. I can't remember waking up though so I must have just peed in my sleep. I wonder if my childhood bedwetting has came back to haunt me? -
Wearing 24/7 leads to bedwetting?
pilot_of_a_plane replied to pilot_of_a_plane's topic in Our Lifestyle Discussion
When I sleep I'm out cold until the morning and even my alarm clock finds it hard to wake me up, the way my body works, I don't know if anyone is similar is; go to sleep, need to pee while sleeping, hold it, wake up in morning, pee. Sometimes I think my bladder is made of metal the amount it holds at night. But last night was strange considering I wet while I was sleeping. I had heard rumours that wearing absorbent products can delay the progress made in achieving a dry bed but never thought it was true but if your doc says it's true, it must be. I'm confused. I haven't lost any control during the day, although I find that I am peeing more frequently in smaller amounts and the urine flow is weaker. When I feel I need to pee I usually only have about 2-3 minutes before it comes out. Pilot -
Hey all, It's me again. So, having got myself sorted from the last time I was 24/7, I decided that I would go again to not only keep myself happy but to please my partner. Now, I have been 24/7 for just over a week and have been only doing #1 in nappies, not #2. Those resealable tapes come in handy! anyway, I'm having a ball and so is my partner. I'm using abri form xplus nappies and they are excellent, would recommend. I only need to change them in the morning, at some stage during the day and at night before bed. Anyone else like this brand? Any questions on this brand feel free to ask as I have been wearing them everywhere, around family, out and about etc. Anyway, I'm rambling on but I just wanted to refer to the topic, can wearing 24/7 lead to bedwetting? Some background. I was a regular bed wetter until the age of 7/8 I think, and from then on in was dry at night, however, I wet the bed last night. When I woke up this morning I noticed my nappy felt abit squishy than usual and low and behold it was soaked. Usually I awake in the morning, have breakfast and then I get an urge to pee and I let go before getting changed. I was kind of shocked tbh. I examined the nappy in the mirror and seen that the seat, or the back, was dry but the front and the crotch was soaked. I can only presume that I was lying on my stomach when it happened although I have been puzzled all day as I can't remember waking up during the night and peeing and my partner confirmed that I didn't sleep walk to the bathroom, not that I wake at night anyway (I'm a heavy sleeper). So, if anyone has any experience on this and/or advice feel Free to reply. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind it, neither does my partner, in fact he loved the fact it happened as long as my health isn't bad, which it shouldn't be having received a check up a month back. I believe it's known as SNE (secondary nocturnal enuresis) as I was a previous bed wetter. Some additional information: No UTIs Not Diabetic Frequent urination during the day Water intake is normal Blood pressure is fine BMI is 21 (doc wants me to put on weight) I very rarely drink alcohol No urinary problems (stones etc) So I can only presume this has happened because I am wearing 24/7 and was just looking to know if anyone else has had this happen. Thanks for your replies Pilot

Getting TOO used to nappies
pilot_of_a_plane replied to pilot_of_a_plane's topic in Our Lifestyle Discussion
I don't want to lose control permanently. I like having control and will always want control. Hats off to those who have to deal with it - I personally don't think I could do it. -
Getting TOO used to nappies
pilot_of_a_plane replied to pilot_of_a_plane's topic in Our Lifestyle Discussion
I suppose everyone is different and things happen to different people at different rates. I have been using nappies for as long as I can remember. I didn't wear or use them all the time, just when I felt like it and for a few weeks at a time but nothing like this happened back then, however, because I do have a supportive partner, I guess I'm wearing them a lot more often now, a day or two at a time or for a week or just when I'm in baby mode. I guess I just want to see my partner happy as he likes it when I wear and use them. Thanks I'm going to get checked out but I'm baffled how I have got one if I do? I don't like the taste of cranberry juice so I'm just drinking water... A lot of it... Which means more trips to the bathroom unless I want wet underwear, the joys! Not :/
