Was it in a Halloween costume? A TV Show? Cartoon? I know this is an odd question but non ABDL "adult diaper " referencing in something.

It always pains me to see this type of stuff giving our community a bad name. With that said, I sadly see it with a handful of people who identify as ABDL, who are a bit to into this. Where it becomes an addiction or obsession. Not saying it leads to things like THIS, but I think with anything there needs to be a healthy balance. I do not wish to dismiss or insult those who want the adult baby stuff as a "lifestyle" or become to preachy to where I am going to upset anyone. But it really does pain me to see this sort of stuff. People who make this their absolute everything. And it can become a sort of sickness, especially if we are talking about this as a fetish or kink. This is not meaning the people who absolutely need to wear for medical reasons who are making the best of it, or positively embracing it. But if it develops into a sort of sexual and or kink based thing, again, I wish we had more examples of people who show a healthy balance with it. With that I think it may become less "cringey" to the general public and they may be able to look at it more with understanding. But something like this just throws us back into those stereotypes to the general public. 😕

This doesn't much have to do with diapers but out of curiosity, does anyone turn on those ambient Youtube videos that go on for hours? There pretty much make them for anything. I have seen ones that do calming video game soundtracks with the world from the game in the background, one's for Lord of the Rings Middle Earth ambient music, and one recently for liminal space mall music loop music. I am just naming ones from my YT algorithm, but I want to hear yours if you have any? Right now this is my current one, as this game was my jam back in the day! Just nice to write to, or as background music.

Without giving to much away I will simply say I sort of entertain. It is not what a lot of people probably think, lol. I have always been attracted to the arts and performing. Gotta keep some of my life private in what I do for my own reasons obviously sharing my ABDL side here. But, I love what I do and am lucky to have it right now.

I think the answer for me anyways is kind of said from some above. Don't put so much stress on it. If you are looking for like a few fun times with another AB/DL, sure, there are meetups or munches that are for that. But a long term relationship maybe is something that should stand on other things and the "diaper stuff" shouldn't be that important. I know posting that here seems contradictory, but I really think in my own humble opinion that putting so much importance on the diaper stuff, is going to either lead to something unhealthy or hurt. Especially if it is a kink or fetish based thing. I am not saying having this thing, embracing it, or accepting it is not important. It for sure is, and having someone else can for sure help. But I'd advise just putting yourself out there, focusing on just finding a relationship first, and bringing up the diaper stuff later. If they are for it, cool, and if not then you always need to respect peoples boundaries. I think more people than most are open to try stuff like this, much more than we think they are. From my experience I have met plenty of non ABDL girls who were very "vanilla" to all this stuff, but with a little time and understanding they were willing to give it a try. More often than not, most said they really did enjoy it and would be willing to do it again for me because it made me happy. If you can find someone who opens up in that way or develops an interest herself, that's great. I just think those who enter into a relationship with ABDL being one of the pillars the relationship needs to stand on doesn't often go well in the long long run. Because I have seen that too. Again, this is just one persons advise online and at the end of the day you need to decide what's best for you.
