thanks alot guys that information is great. but i just found out recently that a family has offered to pay for my first two years of community college which is fantastic news so now i just need to find a job and start saving for my last two years.

so i graduated high school and i got into the colleges i wanted to but i was unable to go because of many reason really. so for now i have to settle for 2 years of community college. now my problem is that i cant rely on my parents for any money at all as far as contributions go, and both of my parents have horrible credit so loans weren't an option, i was unable to finish my FAFSA application because my parents hadn't filed their taxes in years, and I'[m a dependent because i just turned 18. i cant seem to find a job but I'm hoping to find one somewhat soon. so the real question is what can i do to get college paid for? or at least some of it? does anyone know of any organizations or grant/loan programs that i could apply for? any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Hey whats up guys and gals? I'm new here but i'm sure that's obvious considering that i'm posting in the newbie nursery, so i just thought id drop by and say hello. I've been a lurker for about 2 years or so. i turned 18 this year so i thought id make an account and partake in all the awesomeness that is DD. as far as me and who i am, well hey i'm mosbie, feel free to call me Mo. i've been a DL since i was a wee munchkin so its just apart of my life. it took me a while to come to terms with it but i got over it and now i'm cool with who i am. I only wear occasionally as i still live at home and i've already been caught/almost caught enough times, so i don't really wanna try that again lol. but anyways that's just a bit about me and i hope to get to know you guys more as a frequent the message boards more. and thats a wrap. cheers, Mo
