  1. Yes, I have ordered from them many times since Brexit. Great service!
  2. For me, it's The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series.
  3. Diesel was £6.80 ($8.70) a gallon in my village yesterday. In a strange twist, my energy supplier lowered my EV charging rate and extended the off peak time by two hours. It now costs £4.50 for a 240 mile charge.
  4. I work in a laboratory and wear diapers
  5. I'll start by saying my wife does 90% of the cooking in our house. I'm a capable cook, but planning meals is not my specialty. My current obsession is stir-fry. I can thow together chicken or beef with a ton of vegetables and sauce from a packet in about 30 minutes and end up with something very good. As I get more confident, I'll start making my own sauces. A typical recipe includes: Baby corn, snow peas, carrots, celery, mushrooms, broccoli, red pepper, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts and bean sprouts.
  6. I got my results yesterday and they were inconclusive... The doctor said that three of the four quadrants of my prostate are perfectly fine, but there is something in that fourth quadrant. Two other doctors took a look and they aren't certain what it is. There were no cancer cells detected, so we are going to do blood tests again in a couple of weeks. If my PSA is still high, I will probably have another biopsy, but just in that quadrant. So, no bad news, but no real diagnosis yet.
  7. The UK version of title tax (Vehicle Excise Duty) changed significantly this year. My wife's car went from £0 per year to £20. Cars that produced CO2 emissions below a certain threshold were previously exempt from tax. Now, all cars pay at least £20. Mine went from £0 to £195. EVs were exempt for a long time. I knew it was coming, but I got two years tax exempt before the rule change. Now, EVs are subject to a per-mile charge as well. That will add another £450 to my tax bill each year. I hope they put the money into fixing the potholes around here.
  8. I do! Every night since about 2014.
  9. Well, I survived the procedure and it went well. Took longer than I thought. the only pain was from the anaesthetic. The biopsies themselves were mostly pain free, just a couple of twinges. The sampling “gun” makes a loud click, which made me flinch. Results in two weeks… By the way, thank you all for the encouragement and kind words. I don’t post here too often, but I think of you all as an extended family.
  10. I'm having a prostate biopsy tomorrow... I'm a bit anxious about it, although the doctor told me to not lose any sleep over it. I had three high PSA readings since last summer and an MRI that showed something of interest. My overall prostate health score is low (2 on a 5 scale), but there is a spot that rates a 3. Not looking forward to having injections in my 'taint. As a side note, the urologist knows I am incontinent, but was really pushing me into some new treatments to "get me dry again". I had to tell him I already accepted it and had learned to live very comfortably with incontinence for the last 10 years. He doesn't understand why, but seems to have let it go for now. Anyone else have experience with prostate biopsies?
  11. I use Tena plastic-free wipes, but keep a pack of Pampers wipes in my car for cleaning dirty hands.
  12. Yes, I was transferring my medical care from my US military doctors to my British GP and we had a discussion about my incontinence. He referred me to the NHS Continence Service and we went from there. I already get my diapers reimbursed by the US VA, so there was no reason to pursue the NHS ones.
  13. An option to see all results would be nice. For example, instead of browsing through all 5 pages on the plastic backed diapers section, I'd like to just click "show all" and see them on one page.
  14. I was referred to the NHS continence service about 10 years ago. I didn't go through all of the tests, as I didn't want their diapers. I just wanted it in my NHS records that I am incontinent.
  15. I have different diapers for different situations, much like @rusty pins. For housework or yardwork, its usually a Goodnites XXL. Physical therapy is Tena Slip Active Fit Plus. Normal daytime use is Tena Slip Active Fit Maxi. Evenings are normally Tena Slip Active Fit Ultima. Overnight is BetterDry. Overnight when I'm extra hydrated is NRU Str8 Up or Trest.
