Onzl, your thread here is one of the great ones. It has possessed my mind the last few days as I've read and pondered. I seldom wear. The wife hates my diapers, I wore in her presence 40 years ago, then upon her repulsed reaction, I just decided to go back in the closet with my diapers as I had done all through childhood. Yes, I thought marriage would erase my diaper love, NOT! But here I am, I surf daily, wear on occasion when opportunity presents itself, never in her presence, sometimes at work, always when she is away from the house or I am traveling. You have blazed a trail for me in your 24/7 experiment. I have imagined some of the difficulties you have so well documented. I have experienced being in public dealing with a leak. I have packed extra bags, just for diaper supplies. I thank you for sharing details and thoughts, and your thinking out loud about being 24/7. I dare say I will never have your experience. I fear my wife would do more than "not look at her diapered husband". Mine would end the relationship and that is why I went back to the closet with my diapers. Your courage is amazing. Don't think ill of my wife, she is great lady whom I love but she just never could accept my diaper love. Everybody has to find their happy medium in marriage. Mine is to wear outside of her presence. I think your writing has helped me realize I really would not want to be 24/7, but those situations you have described do invade my continued love for diapers. I have been satisfied diapering up when I can and having a good marriage with many life benefits. Thanks again for sharing your experience.

While surfing diapers and related things I found an article in the Huffington post that in the Philipines, during a visit from a world figure, the traffic is so bad and the traffic cops are so important to the flow of traffic during such times, the authorities were literally issuing orders for the the cops to be diapered so no interruption would be had while they went to relieve themselves.

I don't know about seeking a counselor part, but I do about maintaining a marriage.

I've done several strange things in and around diaper play, once as a teen my mom had a crib set up for my cousin, when home alone I got in it, pretending to be a baby (I guess"), and broke the main rail on the front of the crib......when discovered my dad wondered how in the world did this happen.......I Know Nothing!! was my reply.......

Drinking more is good.....more diluted urine tends to smell less.....but there are other considerations if you wear 24/7..........change more often, expensive I know, but you may have to grin and bear it..........cleanse your diaper area every time you change, this is very important for many reasons.............I do not wear 24/7, but when I wear I always wear plastic pants, they are hot in the summer, but they can prevent leaks, contain odors, and give greater overall security if properly fitted, they too must be cleaned properly to prevent smells.

I must say I enjoy every diaper experience, but for me, my favorite was in the old DPF days, I made contact with a guy who was incontinent. Upon visiting him I was impressed that he was indeed incontinent. He used a diaper service and had a walk in closet with the shelves lined with cloth diapers and the best plastic pants I've ever seen. He sold me two pair of them and also gave me some disposables he didn't need. The thrill of him diapering me in the thickest, best feeling diapers I'd ever had on was great. I would "waste a towel" now and then to get the feel for cloth, but towels are rough. Not these diapers. To add to the experience after a wetting, he decided to show me how he diapered himself for the night. Thickest I've ever been diapered, with "boosters" on the sides because he slept on his side and if he didn't use them he might leak. It was the most babyish I had felt in diapers since, well, I was in diapers. We play twice, then he became engaged and didn't want to play anymore....but those two times were the best I've ever in diapers. There are many more, but that's one time I played and left thinking, I've got to do this again. thicker,

when I mess a diaper, which is seldom, I am always alone and have a good place to clean up. Remember, the smell will invade the whole house in most cases, don't think you can do this with others in the house that you don't want to know. I prefer clothe diapers, but wear disposables. I find bigger diapers can be tapped up snuggly. Smaller is not preferred by me. I also wear plastic pants. This is a turn on for me, but also practical when wetting or messing, it provides extra leak protection. Also, when you are going to mess a diaper, it is better when you feel the mess is going to be more solid, than say, something like diarrhea. Large and hard movements are better contained, create a better fell in the diaper, and reduce the risk of leakage. Store brand diapers will do, but you'll always get better diapers from hospital supply stores. That is a common experience of most us DL's or AB's. As a kid, I messed myself mostly. It wasn't till I was an adult that I learned the joy of wetting myself. Both are great sensations, but wetting is preferred simply because of easier clean up. You can wet yourself without others in the house knowing. All in all, I prefer messing a diaper, but mostly wet for convenience sake. Good luck, experiment and see what your like are.
