For me it depends on what I'm doing. Noisy plastic backed is best when I'm on my own (or with someone who is ok with the crinkle), but the quiet fabric backed is best for going out and about in. That way I'm not intruding on others with any noise, which is important to me.

I have to go for long periods without wearing. But if I was able to wear more often then it would depend entirely on my mood as to whether I did or not. Sometimes I might want to stay in them for days at a time and then there's times when I just don't even think about it.
