#601939 Psychiatric Illness: Need Diapers. Please Help Me.

Posted by dogpiss on 20 February 2013 - 12:38 PM

My $0.02 so YMMV:

Diapers aren't so much a sexual thing for me as they are a 'comforting' thing... leading to less inhibition during sexual feelings.  Since I have to perpetually worry about my leaking without, I enjoy wearing because I can put the 'always worried' to rest.  The bigger the diaper the better (to an extent!) because that 'buys me more time'.  I've had the same response to cathing too, but after a few blowouts (and tripping over my the tube to own bag!), I've gone back to diapers... I guess I'm a little klutzy.  It may be hard but relax and the less you think about what others think, you'll be fine.  If you think about it, would someone who's a typ I diabetic be embarrassed by seeing needles and insulin in their handbag/backpack?  I mean, I'm sure there are, but I'd just be all like 'yeah, I need that to function normally, so I'm not the problem.'  Like the old cliche 90% is half mental... well it's pretty true.  Do what you need to do to be yourself and so long as you don't hurt anyone else, who is anyone to  judge you... as a matter of fact, I'd judge them for being judgemental a--holes.

#597218 Sometimes I Wish I Was Incontinent

SpokaneGirl,

One can't discount a psychological need for being just as medically necessary as physical/mechanical reason.  And you're right, people shouldn't be judging you for your choice of underwear.  Imagine if the hand were on the other foot and people judged you for wearing a maxi pad/tampon 'in front of children'.  It's so one's damn business but yours and you need diapers just as much as someone with a mechanical problem does.  Don't look down on yourself.  Chin up!

#548062 Windows 8, Your First Impressions?

Posted by dogpiss on 11 September 2012 - 02:20 PM

OK so I've used it for a while and Win 8 ONLY GETS WORSE, especially in a domain/enterprise environment.  The fact that you now have a start "screen" and desktop that you have to toggle between to get stuff done... it's bad.  On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being literally unusable and 10 being "WANT" more than any computer thing ever, I'm being generous at a 3.5.
My previous ratings at release (please take in context of 'state of the art' at release date):
Windows 95: 6 (doesn't include 95b, which is a 7)
Windows NT 4.0: 7.5+
Windows 98: 7(doesn't include 98SE which is about 8.5)
Windows ME: 3 (I could literally never get the damn thing to run right!)
Windows 2000: 9 (I have to say relative to time of launch, I think Win2K is one of MS best products ever!)
Windows XP: 7 (XP service pack 2 makes about 8.0+)
Windows Vista: 5-
Windows 7: 8 (with XP virtual machine, I'd have to say close to 8.75)
Windows 8: 3.5 (at least it runs)

#540811 I'Ve Never Understood Why Haters Gonna Hate

Posted by dogpiss on 21 August 2012 - 07:58 PM

I've never understood the negative stigma against incontinent people (or people who just like to wear diapers).  It really makes me cross that people have to be afraid of being mocked for using diapers, but using verruca cream or fungal powder carries no such stigma.  If anyone has any good ideas why, I'd be interested to hear them.  Why haven't/can't/aren't diapers and incontinence thing NOT to be ashamed of?

#540542 Windows 8, Your First Impressions?

FWIW, I think Win8 seems to be a steaming pile of, well, diaper use.  I don't like the new UI at ALL  Under the hood it seems like Win7 warmed over and the whole project feels rushed.  In other words, I think it's a lot like Vista just not as good.

Your opinions?

#479800 Diapers Sans Baby

Posted by dogpiss on 07 March 2012 - 12:56 PM

I dabbled in AB a long time ago (more than ten years now) and at the end of the day, it just wasn't my bag.  I've been pretty much DL ever since.  I like being an adult but just with different "underwear".

When my bladder starts to spaz out, I change into something a little thicker or more absorbent.

#479796 Diaper Rituals

I can't say that I have a ritual per say, but I do put on the same way.  I'm just doing what works.

#456534 Favorvite Thing(S) To Do While Being Diapered?

Posted by dogpiss on 04 January 2012 - 02:08 PM

I just enjoy living everyday life.  When I'm at home alone and able to wear just a diaper and a shirt, even housework or just
doing whatever is cool!

I tried AB many (MANY) years ago and could never really get into it either.  Interestingly, I had a gf at the time who was rather getting into the AB but was not getting into the DL, but did put up with my DL.  It's not my bag, but I'm fully understanding of those who want to be AB.

#427713 Us Government Spending Broken Down...

Posted by dogpiss on 11 August 2011 - 08:54 PM

"The bureaucratic mentality is the only constant in the universe."
-Dr. Leonard H. McCoy

All politicians are self serving liars who only have interest in putting themselves first and/or their agenda/"axe to grind" first.  The only thing there is to argue about is degrees.  Does society need a "safety net"?  Yes, by and large we aspire to live in a compassionate society.  I'm pretty sure the government isn't the best at providing this because the aforementioned gets in the way (and poor service too, the DMV, TSA, and IRS seem to illustrate this best).  What is the alternative? I don't know (private charities?).  But the incumbent (being government) is so entrenched in that role, that we'll have to deal with that until we have social change.  To quote a Democrat (not that it really matters) Judge from whom I had the privilege of attending a lecture, "It's not government's job to provide services[, but] it is government's job to make sure services are provided."  The people need to take their government back, have a (respectful!!!) dialect based on fact and reality rather than emotion or 'personal' deficit.  A former president, in this case a Republican said, "Concentrated power has always been the enemy of liberty."  Getting the power out of the hands of the "ruling" class[es] and into the people is the only way [wo]men can remain free to the extent that Americans have become accustomed.  Unfortunately, this has been trending wrong in the US for MANY years (since the 1930's at least).  The US government has done a lot of good since then, but there are always the political types that see modest regulation as a way to seize free thought and money from the common [wo]man.  The only way to turn this tide is for people to wake up and get representatives that hand power back to the people, localities, communities and neighborhoods where it belongs.  If it was that easy, I'd have figured out a way to do it, but alas progress eludes us.  It's should be government's primary directive to protect the people, not run their lives.

#427619 Ever Wonder If Some One You Know Is A Ab/Dl

I don't blame you for that though because his spelling, grammar, punctuation is terrible. Its shocking that his profile says 22 and I've had better English then that since I was 12.

Be kind now, some of us aren't native English speakers and we do make mistakes which a child would find silly, but pobody's nerfect.

I adore:

Anything where I'm forced to submit :D

So that means you like to play "going to the DMV".  ^_^   Sorry, I couldn't resist.  I read that and that's the first thing that popped into my head.

#351627 Embarrassed By A Nurse

Posted by dogpiss on 11 October 2010 - 09:59 PM

Working in medicine in some capacity, I can say that what you relate is RANCID with HIPPA violations.  These docs and nurses didn't obey proper protocol and if you have two witnesses, you could have a huge payday on your hands.  It's also not the doc's place to question your payment information.  Being a public hospital (or if the hospital receives a dime of federal money, which almost all in the US do) he is not allowed to deny you triage treatment for concern of payment... or again, with witnesses you have the potential for a big payday.  I'm not a lawyer, but the boys from legal hang this "Sword of Damocles" above our heads all the time.  So there's something fishy at this hospital.  At best they are running a "sloppy" operation administratively.  At worst, they are blatantly breaking the law, in which case it SHOULD (nee must) be reported.

#334472 If You Could Haunt...

Posted by dogpiss on 18 August 2010 - 10:21 AM

I would haunt child molesters and wife beaters all the way to the loony bin!  If there was a way I could I'd wail on them from the grave!  I know too many victims of that s#!t and have actually thought about this kind of thing.  Just what my sister alone has gone through makes me want to kill people (however, thanks to her calming me down I now just want them not to live any longer... not die by my hand).  This sub-human scum prey on the most innocent and weak and for that, I'd LOVE to haunt these bastards.  I'll stop my rant now, but needless to say, these kinds of scum, wife beaters, child molesters and the lot, I'd love to haunt them and make them feel AT LEAST a fraction of the pain they've caused!
