    I am a side sleeper and often get leaks even though I wear cloth pull on with a booster and plastic pants, like my avatar shows. Fortunately I usually end up on my back and end up with a wet butt but no leaks.

    I started making makeshift diapers with a large vinyl shower cap stuffed with old tee shirts at age 12, this was in 1959. Then at age 16 I ordered real youth cloth diapers and plastic pants from my mom's Wards catalog. Now in some kind of protection 24/7

    I still like pee smelling diapers, I have a cloth all in one Velcro diaper that I have peed several times that I dry out and keep using it.

    All is true, I find that laying on my stomach helps, maybe a gravity thing.

    Yes I shave since I wear 24/7 and put on Vaseline to prevent diaper rash.

    Old thread but in 1948 I have photos of me in a saggy cloth diaper with almost clear plastic pants, I was 18 months old. Wearing nothing but my diaper and cowboy boots.

    Only wet my bed once a month or so from diaper leaks, but I wet my diaper every night.

    I always pee before going to bed but my bladder never seems to empty completely, so before I go to sleep I wet my diaper with what is left in my bladder. I have never been able to pee in my sleep and I have been wetting for the last seventeen years.

    My wife is fairly nice about it and just says, "honey you forgot to dispose your diaper!" but she never disposes it.

    Myself I don't fear it, I wear protection at all times but only use cloth with plastic pants at bed time.
