Hi All, I have been a long time member of this group. but have not really posted much. Background My interest in nappies started at around 5 or 6 years old( 1986/1987) , where I would try on my younger brothers nappies and mothers sanitary tales. By age 8 / 9, I made nappies from clothing. but to actually use but to sleep in, It was not until 2002 that i discovered adult nappies, I used to by Dry Nights that did not fit. I have warn on and off ever since 2002, from a few days to a few weeks and then there would be a break for a month or two, then they come back out again. Recently my partner has said the gaps between breaks are getting less and the time wearing is increasing. Feelings I feel relaxed / happy when wearing like a sense of comfort. Situation I'm feeling recently the need to just wear 24/7 and be done with it. If I stop wearing on my own terms, then they do go away in the box for awhile, but if I'm forced to stop, I'm find that i cant stop thinking about the nappies and cant wait to get home to put on again. like an addiction. I have accepted the nappies and would never get rid of them nor would i want to. My best friend suggested i see a therapist to they and find out what caused my liking for nappies. not to stop using them but just to find out if something caused it when i was a kid. He was asking me questions and I was trying to think and said it must be the bullying that i have suffered when i was a kid and started telling him stuff at one point i was almost in teers. I remember when I first started school, a kid did not like me, when ever he saw me, he cried, the teacher made me sit under her desk. I have always had alot of stress in my life, from family being controlling / taking me for a mug to me then standing up for myself and now not talking to my brothers. Research I have found that maybe based on the above how i feel about wearing nappies that it may be a psychological need. Microsoft CoPilot I asked "I have warn nappies not 24/7 since 2001 and have had interest in nappies since 5. now i'm 44 when warning a nappy. It makes me relaxed and happy. could this be classed as a need for nappies" and the response was Would you agree with the above?

for some reason, i can no longer get the fit perfect. I seem to have gaps around the sides of my bottom. the brand used to fit really good.

when starting to wear alot more often, i mean like a week at time of wearing 24/7 is it best to change by schedule or when needed?

Hi, I have used a few brands over the years from Tena, Better Dry 10 and ABDL Nappies. Winter months i can go out in public with Better Dry, which is my fav, however summer is not so easy due to the size of the nappy. So i have reverted back to Tena for when out and about in the summer, however i notice with the tena you do get spot leaks from the backing of the nappy if its very wet so have started wearing waterproof paints over the top. Even at night. Gives me more confidence. Can anyone recommend a good nappy for day time usage that's not going to be too noticeable but can still hold 3 full wettings?

starting again now lol 3 times today, this time i had such a bad instant urge - i resisted but it come out without pushing. it's now diarrhea. My Partner come into the home office and just while she was standing, the instant urge come on and i tried hard to hold it until she left the room. once she left, i stopped resisting it and it come out on its own. my partner of 13 years is accepting and she does not mind how much i wear at home (not around Family) and she looked at a new brand that i ordered and she said to me they even make room for mess, but you don't do that.

Well, this is a first time for me. Been suffering really bad Flu and not eating much so i'm very lose down below for #2 twice today i been sat on my PC Chair working and all of a sudden i hear bubbling sounds coming from my back side and i can feel stuff coming out without even pushing at all. I could have stopped it but as i was already wearing a nappy, i just let it finish up. Don't know what to think.

babykeiff. Please could you explain why you made this statement? Is there a reason why when you start out to have timed chnages? I have seen that on a couple of posts. So you dont change from the night diapr until mid-morning, but surely by then it will be full and leaking?

Good to hear that your partners are supportive. What if you are not Incontinent and just like to wear for comfort / protection. My partner used to be supported and she used to wear when she had Cods as she does have a weak bladder. I ordered her nappies and she used to use them when needed. Howver when we moved closer to family, she stopped wearing them and now is not supportive at all. Yes she lets me wear around the house and to bed and if we are nipping out to the shops etc. but she never encurrages me or talks about it. Infact she told me now she does not like me wearing them and would like it if i stopped (and then she said, you would not listen to me anyway) she knows i wont stop wearing them and she seems to accept that. I wish she when i was not wearing that she would encurrange me to wear and be totaly ok with it. I often have thoughts like, i would love to go 24/7 but i know she wont allow that especially family visits etc.

For those of you that have gone 24/7 How was the response like from your partner, Family and Friends.? How did you find dealing with wearing 24/7? If your partner objected to the idea, did you still continue?

She in fine with me wearing around her and to bed, she would prefer me not to wear when my brother is around. He is into mma and always try’s to get me in head locks etc so does have its risks of him finding out unless we are ok with that. I want to come out with it to make it easer for me. I’ll have to work on it abit more to try get her support to tell my brother.
