Hi Nikabdl, I had a cot made for me last year. It`s based on a king size bed and can be coverted back to an ordinary bed or four poster. I leave it as a cot most of the time and sleep in it every night. It is great because it does add to the baby feeling. For bedding i`ve got several sets from Next as they make some of there kids bedding in double size for some strange reason, not that i`m complaining. I`m having a cot bumper made at the moment. Hi Angela, Thank for your best wishes. You certainly know alot about pampers. You are probably right and P&G will not be interested, but hell if you don`t try you don`t get anywhere anyway so I felt is was worth a shot! So like I am keep your fingers crossed and wait and see. Regards David

Hi Frogboy, Yes i know my grammer is somewhat lacking, grammer is not my strong point, unfortunatly when i was in the infants i was taught ITA, so cat was spelt "kat". So when i went up into the juniors i had to start learning how to spell and write all over again again. End result bad English! No offence taken by the way! Regards David.

Hallo ab/dl Community, I have started an online Petition aimed at Proter & Gamble to get them to produce an adult sized Nappy for us! The more people i get to support this the better. Hi Everyone, Its` been interesting reading your reply`s. It certainly seems that like myself a fair number of you started at a young age. I wonder if getting into the scene at a young age is more likely to make you an adult baby than a diaper lover? Going through puberty with a desire to wear nappies certainlt made it more of a fetish for me. I would describe myself as 50% adult baby and 50% diaper lover. I`ve posted another article about what i get from wearing nappies( http://www.dailydiapers.com/board/index.php?showtopic=19171 ). It would be interesting to compare what you get out of wearing diapers with the age you begin to get into diapers. There are also number of people who have started by having to wear for protection because of bed wetting but then grow to like wearing diapers, i wonder if that is because they get something out of the wearing of diaper and therefore area more likely to become a diaper lover? What Wearing Nappies Does for me I would describe myself as 50% adult baby and 50% diaper lover. Wearing nappies and baby girls clothes pushes so many button for me in lots of different ways some emotional and some sexual. I started to become interested in nappies at a young age, before puberty even. Then when I went through puberty the sexual aspect of wearing diapers got added to the feeling that I already had. • Responsibility I have a very responsible job where I’m answerable for the safety of thousands of people. To be able to come home, take off my uniform, put on a nappy and say goodbye to all adult responsibilities is a great feeling. As a toddler I’m in charge of nothing, I don’t have worry about anything. • Control Most people would say that babies and toddlers have no control over their lives and are completely under the control of their parents, and to some point this is true. They no power of what happens to them, what they eat when they bath or even when they go the toilet. To become a baby again means to give control of your life completely to another. But on flip side to become a baby again means you are the centre of attention, you have everything done for you and are waited on hand and foot just like you were some eighteenth century royal. When a baby cries, mummy or daddy come running, so who’s in control really; The parents or the Baby. When a toddler misbehaves it’s mostly to get attention and they usually get it even if mean being spanked. But again who’s controlling who? • Naughtiness When we are children we are toilet trained. We get taught that it is right to use the toilet and that it is wrong to wet our pants. I can still just remember having an accident once because I had a bad stomach when I was about eight. Afterwards I felt so naughty because I had not made it to the toilet. I still get that feeling now, I’m a fully grown man but I still have “accidents

It would be interesting to learn how others became interested or active in the AB/DL scene. I don`t think I ever grew out of nappies from baby. I was toilet trained at the usual age and had no problems with bed wetting. In every way my upbringing was normal. My parents are the kind of people who do not like to just throw things away, so my baby clothes including my terry nappies and plastic pants were kept in a spare draw in my room for some years after I had grown out of them. From an early age, of 4 or 5, I liked to get them out and feel & smell them. On one occasion the idea of trying the plastic pants on just popped into my head, from then on I was hooked. When eventually they were sent to a jumble sale I felt that something was missing. I started to make my own plastic pants, rather crudely out of plastic bags, and I found a few of the nappies kept for dusters. I also found three of my original nappy pins, which I still have. I must have been about twelve when I first dared to wet one of my terry nappies, it felt great. As I reached my teens and had more money I started to buy the largest baby nappies I could. I then found a shop selling adult incontinence pads and since then I’ve not looked back. I would describe myself as 50% AB and 50% DL. I use both disposable and reusable nappies when work and social life permit. I have a growing collection of baby girl clothes made for me locally. I`ve just moved into a new house and am decorating the master bedroom to look like a nursery. I am having a king size four poster bed made that with addition of sides can be turned into a cot.
