A Clinton Township man who was accused of hiding drugs in his children’s diapers was sentenced to 54 months to 20 years in prison today.
Marvin Blocker, 25, pleaded no contest to drug possession, child abuse and resisting a police officer in Macomb County Circuit Court.
A no contest plea is not an admittance of guilt but is treated as such for sentencing purposes.
Blocker was serving 93 days in jail for failing to show up with his girlfriend, Tanya Humphreys, to their Aug. 2 trial.
Humphreys, 24, was previously sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison after pleading guilty to similar charges.
