As a childhood bed wetter mom demanded that I wore pajamas. Tops and bottoms. I do recall some shorties when it was summer. Now a days it is often just a diaper and plastic pants.

I wet the bed from age 5 to around 8. It started after my parents divorce. I know it was very traumatic for me, the divorce that is. At the time divorce was rare, believe it or not. It did not take long before my mom realized she couldn't keep up with the extra laundry, she was working two jobs. That was when I was put back in night diapers. They were cloth with plastic panties, which was what they had at the time. Most parents did not diaper a bed wetter, at least that is what I believe. Looking back I was glad that she chose diapers as a solution.

I miss shopping in medical supply stores. So few are left and what they offer is minimal compared to the 80's. Always enjoyed looking at and buying cloth diapers and plastic pants and various other types of incontinent products.

Another Fan of Babykins here. Tried many but keep going back to them. Last long, and have been around a long time, so you can keep getting what you like.

Medically it would seem that more women have control issues then men.Especially at younger ages. But that may change when men get older and have prostate related issues. I had two close female friends that wet the bed and wore some type of diaper till puberty. When we were older we spoke about the bed wetting experiences. Neither one had developed any fondness for diapers like I had. Once heard a theory that boys had more tactile exposure to the diapers and when worn longer than usual, developed a fondness for them. Based on minimal experiences seems possible. I wet the bed and wore diapers till age 9. Hated it then love them now.

I was resolved to birdseye cloth and Gerber super toddler plastic panties. I did have some relatives that wore them nightly and I was always jealous because I thought they weren't diapers. ( ha ha).
