#628922 An Experience Many Have Had, Of Which None Are The Same.

Posted by Kari on 30 May 2013 - 09:42 AM

COLLEGE... sorry pet peeve.

"As long as this fetish does not harm you or those you interact with then I am merely a neutral party in this issue."

She seems like a a person with a well centered perspective just by that one sentence.

While I understand in a house that you share with other family members, I can see why you needed to confide and trust someone with your "alternative lifestyle".

I'm happy you have a relationship with you Mother that you could share such intimate detais. I know I could never with my Mother, but I did with my Brother.
Although it took some "liquid courage" to do so... :drinks_wine:

You know your situation best, but I'd also like to offer some constructive critisism. Don't force it on her. She may be accepting, but also not want to actually see it.

I'd continue to wear around the house, but when I left the privacy of my room, it be considerate to slip on a pair of shorts or sweat pants.

Then again, it may not be an issue for her to see you diapered. That's where I'd ask her if it did. Or she may eventually become less accepting and let you know.

I hope it all works for the best for you.

Sorry if I left anyone "hanging" on a diaper deal, etc.
Had to take care of some things...
Missed all of you! :)

#598417 Accidents At School

Posted by Kari on 06 February 2013 - 01:09 AM

I wet my pants twice in 3rd grade.
Not a wet spot either, it was a FLOOD.
Even the bullies felt bad for me and although they noticed, they didn't tease me.
We had to play dodge ball the second time it happened.
So the ball was a little wet and to avoid further embarrassment, I rubbed it on the dry part of my shirt.
My teacher and school staff had to know, but it was the 70's.
They thought acting like nothing happened was the best was to handle it.
The school nurse was the Principals secretary. So she wasn't going to get involved either.
I'm glad things are handled a little better in this day and age for kids in school, although they have a ways to go...

#594964 Cruisers 7 Comparison

Posted by Kari on 24 January 2013 - 01:51 AM

There's a seller on Ebay called "Diaper Connoisseur".

They're comparing size 6 "Baby Dry" to size 7 Cruisers.

He/She seems to know about Pampers diapers according to reading this:

(Truncated) http://www.ebay.com/...=item2c660bd1ac

These are the current stretchy-sided, scented baby diapers made by Pampers that feature Sesame Street pictures across the front.  The differences between this model and the Pampers Cruisers 7 is that these diapers have stretchier and more durable sides, and furthermore a longer circumference around the waist.  The tapes are also stronger, as they are velcro combined with an adhesive, whereas Cruisers are only velcro.  They are essentially the same size, despite the higher size number.  The difference, if any, is indiscernible.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, I just posted a bunch of pics in my gallery as well.

I am measuring size 5 USA Pampers Cruisers and first generation Size 7 Pampers Cruisers.

#590683 Too Broke To Wet The Bed

Posted by Kari on 11 January 2013 - 12:45 AM

Yea, just make your own cloth diapers.
IDK if you can still get fabric @ Wal-Mart, but I like getting 2 yrds. of flannel in all kinds of cute patterns.
Just need one pair of plastic pants and rinse them (cloth diapers) off in the tub/sink/shower. Or wear them while taking a shower to save on water. ;)

#588645 What Kind And/or Brand Of Diaper Did You Wear As A Baby?

Posted by Kari on 06 January 2013 - 12:46 AM

This may have been asked before, but why not another shot?

If you think about it, we have 3 major diaper generations right now.

There’s what's known as the "Baby Boomers". They only had cloth diapers with plastic pants.
Disposable diapers were at most an idea in the 1950's of a P&G developer, Vic Mill's, the inventor of Pampers.

Sometime in the early 60's Pampers were a luxury item sold in department stores and worn on special occasions.

The idea of Pampers was to be a diaper and plastic pants all in one. Their slogan was, "Instead of a diaper, Pampers"
Even though, they still leaked. So, plastic pants were still often used for early disposables as well.

I was born in 1967 when Pampers had their wing folded design. Disposables were beginning to be an alternative to cloth.
Even if a child wore cloth at home, some like me wore Pampers more regularly. Especially when doing things away from home.
My memory of being “allowed” to wear diapers as a Toddler goes back to remembering a box of Pampers that were mine.
The box was Purple and diapers were sized to fit Toddlers. This was around 1969-1970. I'd love to have a box of them now.

Back then, it was thought that if a child wasn't potty trained before 3 years old, it was considered as abnormal.
Fastening Tapes came to be a part of disposables in the early 1970's. During that time, there were a couple other brands.
Johnson & Johnson disposable diapers were popular for those who wanted an alternative to Pampers.

Huggies and Luvs were introduced in the late 70's and then the diaper wars began...
First, came the double and then triple elastic hourglass shape diapers for a better fit between the legs and less leakage.
Originally, thick was in. Then an absorbing gel was invented, reducing the need for so much cotton fluff to absorb wetness.

Then there's the Pull Ups generation.
You "Kid's" were (are) so lucky, IMHO. New diapers of different brands, cute prints and larger sizes were made.
Bedwetting especially got easier as diapers and/or Pull Ups could be worn into later childhood if needed.
Some are from the internet generation and knew at an early age you weren't alone to actually like wearing diapers.

I loved the gender specific diapers of the early 90's. I sometimes bought girl diapers for fun.
They didn't quite fit me anymore. So I’d wear them inside my undies like a pad. They would shift around but still felt good to wear.

So what kind and or brand of diapers did you wear as a baby or into your childhood?

#587879 You Can Be Delivered!

Posted by Kari on 04 January 2013 - 10:06 AM

Have you Guys (and Gal's) considered that the OP may also just be a TROLL who has no interest in our spiritual lives, but loves the anger created by their posting.
Some people feel like shit, so they have to TRY and make everyone else feel like shit as well.
You get to a point in your life that you get set in your ways and know what's right and wrong for yourself.
For example, I know I can goto a bar and have one draft beer b/c I enjoy the taste of a good beer and a cigar (if they still allow smoking) and then leave.
But I am hurting myself if I stop by the liquor store and buy some Bacardi 151 to take home and dwell my sorrows of the day in.
If the OP is for real, give us some info on yourself. Set an avatar and let me get to know you.
We may disagree, but good healthy FAIR debate is okay because I already know everything... :P

#583632 Are A B "girls" Overtaking A B "boys"?

Posted by Kari on 22 December 2012 - 01:00 PM

I guess my original intention was to see if anyone thought as I did that a lot has changed in the last recent years.
This group seemed to be a "boys club" when I joined on in 2005 as most girls didn't show much interest.
Of course the HNG's kept and sometimes still keep some away I think.

#562474 Footie Pajamas Are In At Target

Posted by Kari on 22 October 2012 - 05:50 PM

I was going to come and ask where the good ones are?
Also JCP had some cute ones. I have a aqua one I got at some place like Wal-Mart ages ago.
Still love wearing it on a really cold day.
For a DL I seem to really like stuff that's child like.
I've always felt like a older toddler to preschooler still in Pampers at age 4.
Never really fit into the labels we give ouselves. Not a baby, but not ready for Kindergarten either.
In fact I found a Winnie the Pooh diaper bad I so want at K-mart and it's under 10 bucks. :)

#560970 I Missed This Place, Now How Much Do I Owe?

Posted by Kari on 19 October 2012 - 07:35 AM

Hey all,

I took a sebatical from here to get some personal issues in order.
Nothing bad like getting arrested or inpatient (knock on my skull)

I did find out a few things...
I do not like that "other" AB/DL site...
Without going into too much detail,
The biggest issue I had was discovering they have it for virttally all ages.
So I always felt awkward and not able to be myself.
Which is why I am not there now.
So you guys get me back until Mikey or another Mod. decides otherwise.
To be fair I'm glad there's a place for TB's. I just don't want to be a part of it.
They are very secure about their members.
So I wouldn't say it's like that "D" place that finally got shut down.
But I feel welcome here.
Even if I might say or do something that gets me a "spanking" from Betty Poo. :)

So, while I'm kissing up to the staff, I want to know something...
If your on a budget, but wish to contribute to keeping this site what it is.
I was wondering if there was a suggested amout to add to the "Diaper Bag"?
(Just thought that up. cute huh?)

You should use that Mikey...

BTW, got some kewl things to share in another post including a place to get Abenas at a great price!

Will contribute more chatter l8r.
Right now I want to catch up on what I missed out on here. LUV & Huggies  ♥  K. .

#449139 What Would You Do If Everyone Found Out.

Posted by Kari on 15 December 2011 - 08:55 PM

No one besides me and my wife have the right to know what happens behind my closed doors....

Your right...
In fact a few years later, I read or saw something on television.
About a scorned wife telling things to her "friends" about their marriage bed.
He sued her ass in court and won for defamation.
It didn't matter if it was true or not.
It was done with ill will and malice.
Judge ripped her a new one. LOL
Last I heard, she was paying him alimony.
