  1. I like hanging around here, with more older people. I'm way past having to hide it from people. I've been wearing nappies 27 years.

    Alcohol

I was out mostly out drinking in pubs and restaurants in my 20s and 30s. I travelled a lot to Goa and Sri Lanka and for long periods too and would find a beach bar or restaurant and make it my base, bonus if they had rooms, I found some really decent ones on my travels, That way you become really friendly and social with the owners and work staff, and meet other interesting travellers who like to drink, spent many a night getting absolutely pissed and stoned in beach huts on the beach listening to Reggae Good times. My favourite Sri Lankan beer is called Lion, in big brown 500ml bottles, They went warm fast so had to drink them really quick, could easily polish 13 bottles during the day and then shots at night, In Sri Lanka they have Arrack and shots of that gets you drunk. The British have always had a big drinking culture. I started drinking when I was 14, I remember going into backrooms of pubs at 14 in my school uniform, we would take ours blazers and ties off and they'll serve your 2/3 pints and we'll play pool That wouldn't happen anymore with the Laws now... The local foreign shops would also sell you alcohol as well with no ID, at 14 we just to drink white cider and something called 20/20 Maddog. 15% punch. I bet most of British people bore before 2004 started drinking this way.
  3. I'm full on 24/7 for wetting and messing. I found once I got comfortable with wearing more and more and in different situations I found its actually easier going full time. I find toilets icky now. I find nappies give me something much more than then just the sexual side.
  4. I'm not buying anymore for 31 days, I do really enjoy buying different bands and wearing nappies
  5. I always call them nappies or if talking to medcial professionals call them pads.
  6. They are a very good value nappy, I have the cloth backed Maxis and they handle multiple wettings as well as being discreet, You just need clothing like compression underpants or all-in-one t-shirts (onesies) to keep them in place as they do become lose and sag but overall they are good. Tena has been the leading brand in Europe for many years for medical grade nappies.
  7. I've just changed into a Kiddo premium night XL, really love these nappies.
  8. Its says on their website don't tumble dry them but I have been tumble drying mine for years and yes the initial drying they shrunk a tiny bit but apart from that never no problems.

I concur, they are a great day time nappy.
  10. that is very good advice, I'm going to turn the eco wash off on my washing machine.
  11. When I started the bowel untraining 8 months ago I had a hard time pooping in front of people, You know if your incontinent you can't help not mess in front of people so the same is with my untraining and I just treat it has a disability, if I mess I mess, the more times I did it around people the easier it has become and my friends know I'm incontinent and wear pads (nappies) I am respectful and they are respectful. I noticed once I accepted this was a apart of me and I have always wanted to be double incontinent and that nobody gives a shit because I have a disability it has totally stoped the mental barriers I had. My poops are regular, they just push themselves out without clench reflex, I still have anal sphincter control but as soon as I feel a poop coming I immediately push it out in mu nappy without clenching.
  12. Because I'm now 24/7 I have got into the habit of washing my onesies and pyjama bottoms every day, also iC bed pad every day as well. I use BOLD wash tablets and particularly if I have had a bad leak in the night on my bed pad I wash around 40 degrees on a long cycle, I have noticed that the lower cycles their is still a faint smell of pee. What's clothes washing routine like?
  13. I do believe the Sprogs and NRU STR8UP are the same nappy? I think I'm going buy the NRU STR8UP pink because I like the plainer colours, I think a pink nappy could pass for a medical nappy and I love medical looking nappies, I do really like NRU rascals and NRU Tinimals though. I should not be buying more nappies because I want to save, but going to buy 3 cases of the NRU STAR8UP in pink on wednesday then save all of June. Going to get two new onesies and some nice pyjamas bottoms on Wednesday as well.
  14. I told a medical professional who gives me my antipsychotic injection every month that I was having incontinence problems and we discussed it on our walks. He wrote a letter to my GP surgery and the GP is ringing me on the 10th June to discuss it. It's really good its out in the open, I don't have to hide in shame anymore and its becoming easier be more open about it. Also big bonus it traps me into wearing nappies all the time, can back out now.
  15. Really happy with them, same quality as always,, I especially love where you can fasten at the belly button because I have a bad thumb and it's much easier this way. They last a long time too, Had about 11 onesies from them in 9 years but since I'm 24/7 now they wear down. And they are made in the UK too which I really like. Also got these today as well. I was worried I would have to wait until Tuesday but got a notification they were arriving today which is great.
