  1. I have had a ton of tape issues with these. they just don't stick and the adhesive turns to mush after a bit. Also had a pinhole leak and one diaper only had 1 tape on one side. for the price they are just not worth it. They are cute, but I will choose functionality over pattern any day. Very disappointed in these.
  2. wearing my sample now. very comfy.
  3. first wearing reminds me of the belissimos a bit. fit is good better than before. Tapes are vey sticky! Haven't wet yet, but it is definitely a bit thicker. not totally sold on the plastic but as long as it doesn't tear, and the tapes don't rip off the back, this diaper is awesome. those were my only complaints on previous bambino diapers. Feels great!
  4. just got my case of classicos plastic is a little rough like 1st gen belissimos. Hopefully get to test them soon. Very soft inside and had updated core
  5. I have the issue with the tapes coming off the back. Been for a while now about a year or do. The china thing is not new it's been that way for a long time. Still my preferred diaper by a long ways
  6. too bad about the tapes. Mine held well. Seemed to be better than the other tapes I had. I wish the plastic was thicker. Got a hole in the front. I think they swell and weigh so much that they take themselves out. Kinda like dropping an original xbox. Still very impressed with this initial run.
  7. Back on topic. The new bambino is awesome. I usually wear a Classico with a quadro booster to bed. That gets soggy by morning. This new diaper not only took all I could put out last night it still feels like I can wet some more. the tapes held well. Improvement over the current tapes more hard plastic, stiffer and won't fold on itself. this diaper is worth it. I will be ordering these for my next case
  8. So the dies and materials originate in china. That would make sense. anyway so the factory in China making fabine for buntewindel also sold a machine to bambino. Put both diapers side by side and I think I'll be proven correct.
  9. I think you are correct. Abu is unable to offer competetive price on the fabine because buntewindel bought it from the manufacturer. Abu is buying them as a disrtbutor. They are the middle man, so they have to cover the cost to buy them from someone else first. I still believe that bambinos originate in china. Or they are made on the same kind of diaper machine as a Chinese company. Back a long time ago I had a case of secures with kanji on the box. Anyone also notice that Abu no longer has a price for the fabine. Any way the real winner is all of us. the price of both diapers will go down if people buy them.
  10. if you compare diapers the tapes, pad shape, and liner are the same. read my posts, and look at the fabine pics. the orignal prototype had a secure tape panel.
  11. on closer inspection holding the new bambino up to the light. The extra sap is actually on the sides of the diaper. The patch going down the center is a bit thinner, and the sides of it have more sap. do the same with your new bambino and you'll notice the patch is exactly the same shape as the fabine. the tapes are slightly different. the have a blue area where it connects to the back of the diaper. and the texture is different, more like they were when bambinos first came out. i hope this means that they are reinforced, as I usually have one tape seperate when sitting down. the cut is slightly smaller on the front and back panels, no change in width really, but cut at a sharper angle. I think why they are slightly smaller, is due partly to this slight difference, and having more sap. it definitely looks like an upgrade.
  12. just got my new bambinos. Definitely has the same patch in the middle just like the fabine. this is the same diaper. No doubt about it. Feels very soft. Thicker than regular bambinos. I will give a full report. Plastic seems a bit thin. And with the increased sap that is a concern. The fabine pics on abkingdom of a wet one have a tear in it so we will see how it holds up. If it is an issue I have no doubt bambino will fix it.
  13. Looking closer at the pics the patch is there it's white not green. Good job bambino. Day one purchase for me.
  14. looks good. All white version of the fabine without the green stuff in the middle. Would have liked additional print possibly. now how much will they cost? hopefully less than the fabine
  15. it all makes sense if you look back over the information on the fabine. compare the two when both diapers are available the print will likely be all that is different and hopefully the price. If you look at the waistbands the tapes and the front panel the fabine is an upgraded bambino.
