With infants and toddlers, disposable diapers are rated by weight, yet for older toddlers parents fairly quickly figure out that the basic difference among Sizes 5, 6 and 7 is the height of the child. Go with Mediums.... Large diapers will just leak on you unless you have those plastic pants on.
