nerfbrony Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 So, I live on my own, but I don't have a washing machine. Can I wash cloth diapers in a tub?
Little BabyDoll Christine Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Then how are you going to dry them? A larger question is, what about your other clothes?

beallucanb Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 You can wash them at home in the tub but it going to take some time and alot of rinseing , then you might try hanging them in the bath tub of shower stall after you ring them out as good as you can.
Little BabyDoll Christine Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 When I lived at the place before here,I used the main laundry room. There are times when a laundromat is almost empty However, you are going to have to get a wahser and dryer at some time. Look on the used market. That is what I did when I got here. Each cost me about $250 and that was 12-1/2h years ago and they are still going strong. And get a top-loader Consumer Reports has slammed the front-loaders/HE washers 1
redneck diaper boy Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 I use to wash mine in a public laundry near Ohio State University. I never had a problem. This laundry had something cool. They had a centrifical water extracter. It really cut the drying time.
BabyJune Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I generally wash my cloth diapers and waterproof pants by hand in a bucket with baby laundry soap. Rinsing well is important. Hang-drying takes a long time. I have a washer and dryer but prefer to hand launder my diapers because I do them one at a time. I'm not a regular user; I only "use" a diaper when I'm home alone for long enough to wash and dry everything and stash my supplies.
redneck diaper boy Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 If you are deaimg with poo, the task is greater. When I had fecal accidents, i dunked the soiled diapers in the toilet. Never place soiled diapers in the washer. you would wind up with brown stains on other garments. Remove as much poo as posible before washing.
