Why The Difference

If I wear my diaper all day long I wet all day long. If I dont wear it I dont leak and can go every couple of hours. But wetting so frequently makes leaks often. Does anyone have this problem?

Your leaks are a result of your diaper not having enough capacity and/or it cannot absorb as fast as you pee, so puddles form. Or, you need experience putting on your diaper.

Pretty sure they're talking leaks as in dribbling urine. Not a leaky diaper.

When I first started occasionally wearing I used to have to wait until I was desperate to urinate to be able to wet my nappy.

These days, when I wear, I go even before my bladder is full.

It makes asking my partner/Mummy to be allowed to wet a lot harder lol

It sounds to me me that you are conditioned to wet your diaper whenever you have one on.

I've got that conditioning with Abenas. I usually drink a lot of fluids during the day so when clothed or wearing Depends I use the toilet at least once every 2 hours. I reduce fluids for flying, and can go a 4 hour flight without using the bathroom at all.

But when well-hydrated and in an Abena, I keep things relaxed and can wet several times per hour in those. Small, frequent wettings are less likely to cause the diaper to leak - even the cheap ones, though a good quality diaper will last a lot longer - versus flooding less frequently.

I've noticed that when wearing a diaper I tend to wet much more fequently than if I'm not wearing.

I can remain dry without diapers most of the time, but when I'm diapered I simply forget about my bladder spasms and go on with life a little wet. I stop the flow after it beguins in diapers but I have to concentrate on not letting the flow start otherwise My non-wearing times are when I'm airing out and occasionally bedtime- when I'm active is when I leak the most Bedwetting in my sleep seems to be out for me- I almost always wake enough to know my condition in bed
