One, the figure having authority granted by you stated that you would wear. Two, the same figure implied that they would put you in the nappy. The assumption I make from your statements is that the authority figure will also choose which nappy you will be nappied with and when. So it seems to me that you don't have so much to get your head around except that you have an authority figure you have already accepted and thus you just need to go along with what they think is best for you.
