Little BabyDoll Christine Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 This is not an exclusively cloth diaper issue since wetproof panties were often used over disposable diapers. Also there were some attempts to use panties that were made of fabrics
doey Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 I wore cloth diapers and plastic panties until I was 14 years old, both at night and during the day. I went to a Special Needs school also until I was 17 years old.
Angela Bauer Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 My family actively hugged trees, so years after Pampers were being advertised on TV, my Mom continued to wash thousands of Curity classic 21x40" cotton gauze diapers, Since Mom, her mom Granny Vi and her sister Aunt Betsy all were profoundly urinary incontinent, Granny used an industrial over-lock machine to unite 2 or 3 of the Curity flat diapers into one large diaper to better suit the older users.
redneck diaper boy Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Don't remember being a baby. I was a child of the 50's and wore some rubber pants as a teenager so it is a good bet I wore both rubber and plastic pants
Dlbill Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 I was born in 52 and i did I wore both rubber and plastic pants.
Craisler Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 When very young, they were rubber. Later, though, they were the equivalent of today's PUL nylon pants.
plasticpant addict Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 I was born in 1958 and as a baby wore plastic baby pants over terry towelling diapers.also due to a medical problems I wore all the time to about 12,then because they were a common site on washing lines I have worn ever since and I think this is where my infantalism came from.
