The Basics

So, after a lot of gathering of information, I think I have somewhat nailed down the two (physical) processes that need to be accomplished in order to achieve urinary incontinence.

1. Shrinking of the bladder

2. Atrophy of the sphincter muscles

One will consequently affect the other. This is the simplistic understanding of what's going on, and I don't think it over-simplistic. If anybody can help me understand the mental part that would be great, because I surely don't understand the effects of it.

Very simplified. Yes. You got it.

The mental stuff is going to vary from person to person.

What your gonna run into and will need to work through are mental blocks.

The best two ways I have found to do this are through habit creation. As well as meditation/hypnosis.

You can also use techniques of positive reinforcement. Checks and balances etc.

Journaling, if only to keep track of the mental blocks is a must. A combination of daily trials and progress works best.

The physical part is easy. More or less. It is the mental part that is difficult.

It is the mental part that is difficult.
Right, because it is your MIND that requires the training. If you could flip the unconscious switch to tell yourself that your diaper is the appropriate place to do your business, your body would just follow along. Unfortunately, most of us can't do that. The 12-month method and the upgrades that Blake has been working on primarily help you train your mind to overcome your potty training, instead making it a habit that you void wherever you are. When that gets firmly established, the physical part just happens.

I would start by duct taping the toilet shut and wearing a diaper at all times so that your diaper was the only place to relieve yourself this would do two things it would retrain your mind about going in a diaper basically reverse potty training and the second is muscle memory it would wipe out that connection between tou and the toilet of sitting to take a dump and standing to urinate which muscle memory is one of your biggest hurdles. if i was not incontinent that would be how i would start to retrain myself but others may have better less severe methods of doing this.

Well if you don't want sticky stuff on your toilet. And want something a bit easier to remove for company....

Get 2 python adjustable bike locks for each toilet.

Wrap one around the back. Tightly around the top of lid.

Wrap the 2nd ons in the front AND loop it with the one in the back.

This creates tension. Therefore making it impossible to remove either one without both keys.

You can then move the keys offsite. In the car. Etc. where you tempted. Yet close enough to grab for company.

Oddly. Scouring the net did not bring one relevant result for padlocking a toilet.

Nor are baby locking toilet lids made to keep kids out.

There is a push button toilet lid lock that requires an installation. Made by safety 1st I believe. Goes under both bolts.

You could install it. Use jb-weld on button to lock the button in the locked place. Requiring you to remove entire seat to gain access.

If you have company over often. You can use the same device along with a python cable through the toilet seat. Making it impossible to lift seat even in the unlocked position unless cable is removed.

Best options I've come up with for making a toilet inaccessible for adults.

(yes I know, too much time on my hands, that's what happens when your bedridden for a couple weeks)

Or if you happen to have a separate shower (some houses have the toilet in a separate little stall with a door) you could just lock the stall and store the key elsewhere as you suggested.

If you got to lock the toilet up you must not really wanna wear diapers. Cause if you wanna do something you just do it.
