In my first topic, I provided a discussion of the IPA breath hold technique for shy bladder.

There are a few posts where peeps mentioned that they were not able to get it to work.
As this video mentions, the body must be relaxed. It also suggested beginning the breath
hold while in route to a restroom to burn more oxygen. As our model demonstrates, there
is a right way and a wrong way to perform the breath hold technique. I have also had more
success using this method to completely drain at the work restroom at the tail end of breaks.
There is a discipline of holding breath. The model here is able to go between 46 and 60 seconds.
The spirit has been showing me a ton of painful memories that are related to my shy bladder. A lot of it has to do with the way my parents handled my bedwetting. The issue was not that I was a bedwetter, they gave me pullups for those. I needed diapers, pullups leaked, I woke up soaked 2 times a week. I also woke up like a steam locomotive. It was my responsibility to wake up "in time" to bathe before getting dressed and leaving the house. Otherwise, I would be dragged out the door in whatever state I was in. And sometimes, I smelled like soggy pullup.

And as usual:

I would rather be at Hippie Hollow!
