So i am wondering i am 43 and does that make me a mutant, because i am staunchly Cloth Diaper, i wear and i share with any other "incon's" i meet about converting like i joked in another post i think i have the largest collection of styles and colors of Babykin's onesies in the US, and all my diapers and rubber or plastic pants have com from Babykin"s or Angelfluff when i find something i like i am brand loyal and product loyal the way our folks where or grandparents where , i kinda think micro economy if we support our favorite mom and pop businesses so they can grow it will trickle up, we don't want trickle down left overs from billionaires we want to be feeding them a little bit at a time from our success stories. but anyway how do we explain me being under 45 ?? any ideas ?

I suspect that the real attraction of cloth diapers for a good number is the rubber panties, which were the iconic babywear since they were very plain to see, whereas a diaper could be any foloder cloth item. There was no mistaking the panties and every little girl had a few pairs in her dollies' layette, and in my area, most had their own to wear for long trips (2 or more hours) if she was under 7 or 8 years old "just in case"
I just realized, The topic has my name for the title.[holds left index finger to the center of her tiara; the Fairy gesture (or is that jesture) for "Gee ain't I swell"]
Umm...headed?...maybe
I take a size 7 tiara but a 10 feels more comfortable

At any rate, prosperity is a factor

The first heavy users of paper diapers were cloth diapered pretty much exclusively. It was mostly laziness or over-fastidiousness enabled by post-war prosperity and that this was the state of affairs for the members of the largest population increas before or since
