Is all of it REALLY free? Often it's "free" for a month or two but then they want you to buy the license after the "trial period" runs out.

They address that kind of thing. Everything I got there is free and clear. Sometimes there is a bundled tollbar or something like that but do a custom install and you can usually avoid that. They also discuss that kind of thing, too. They do reviews of what they point to and I do not think they to trialware but their edition of Dogwaffle is a demo or the pro 7 version. Demo's are permanent but lesser versions of what they are demo's of
