So as was mentioned in another thread, let's get your ideas beyond what is common sense and general site rules.

I just used a kickable option poll, what beyond that do you feel is a banable  or time out restriction suspension.

Posted

voted 'other' to express EXCESSIVE swearing. The odd accentuative f-bomb is fine but don't make it the majority of your message.

Ban for not buying me stuff, being poor, using the letter E, claiming to be more wonderful than me/younger, being wrong on any scienterrific facts, liking any for of rap or hip hop, saying "yo" or "sup", using any for of "txt" speak (there is no excuse phones have predictive text).

I'm sure there is far more, maybe i'll do a drive by later and pepper a few more in here.

Permanent ban for repeat spamming of commercial links. Everything else is ignorable!

Ignore the user sending PMs if you don't want them! No problem.

Trolling is subjective. Even the repeated call to ban someone can be understood as trolling. Who can tell?

Cursing. Ignore it. You hear more cursing in a school yard than here.

Baby talk? In an AB/DL chatroom? What did you expect, baseball reviews?

I agree with Belinda on banning users that say 'yo' and 'sup'. Just kidding, ignore the newspeak.

PMing without permission, I have a short list of people who can pm me anytime, and those people know who they are. No canned meats of any kind, except those little hot dogs :P and trolling in general are the only things that bother me.

I think light babytalk is ok, but if that's all you talk in, it gets bloody annoying. I like to make a quick glance at chat, and if I have to spend 5 minutes processing a paragraph of babytalk, tl;dr

Pm'ing without asking is already a kickable offence. Wetman, you can tell people to stop, and they'll still do it, and ignore doesn't always work. Although Like Smokey I do have a few people that are allowed to PM without asking.

Depending on the Scope of the trolling, I think it should be kickable. If someone's making some far fetched statements he's trying to sell harder than a door to door vacuum salesman, he needs to go.

Cursing? Well fuck me, I'd be kicked more than some users with horrible internet!

Spamming should also include one letter or word per line. (I mean LOL, brb, back, etc are all ok) but if someone's just trying to fill the chat to be annoying, how about a nice big boot to the tush?

Heres my two cents!!! :)

Cussing- I get it.. its an over 18 chat. SO fine, in my opinion I prefer not to see it, but as long as its not used in excess and as a verbal weapon I can let it be.

Spamming- this ones self explanatory, unless someone wants me to start advertising my homemade soup business, then I dont want to here about your kinky fetish website that includes all your nasty pics.

PM'ing without permission- HUGE DISLIKE- Like some others have said, there is a few on my friendlist that know they can pm whenever without asking in gen chat. But as it states on my profile, i do not like to be talking in gen chat and look up and realize I just hit enter and started talking to someone who pm'ed without my consent. Normally asking stupid stuff like my personal fave, "Oh hey you're a girl and I need to know what to do about wearing diapers on my period. eww.

Trolling- This happens in excess. Hey can u pm me, Hey I need changed, Hey Hey Hey.... no one really wants to read it do they? I dont.

Baby talk- egh whatev, its a diaper site with abs on it... Im ab Im gonna talk like that. lol!!

Other-

Bodily Fluids!!! Its a diaper chat yes but I do not need to know that you just pooped or are trying to do so or that you are soakywet. Especially when its everytime you come in chat that you feel it need be announced. Some of us wear for need such as I do and its upsetting and annoying and overall GROSS!! Please refrain or take it to the pm....

Profile pics- Lets be considerate of other people please. I do not want to come in chat, especially now that its new and everytime you post I see your profile pic... and its of your private part. In my opinion that is best left to your gallery pics. Your pic used for the chat that everyone will see should be more modest and tasteful. Dont use gross nasty nude pics.

My ramen noodles are burning, I will be back.. lol

SBG Don't go on the AB groups on fetlife there. Dicks galore (pun intended)

Not a shocker considering that is more of a porno site, lol.

PMing w/o permission, Trolling, and Spamming. I don't mind legible babytalk within reason and if cursing was banned I might have a problem. Besides, you here worse in schools.

Permanent lifetime ban for death threats, racism, hacking, as that shit shouldn't be tolerated anywhere.

Flame wars, trolling and spamming or swearing AT a person, the offending person should get kicked, if they do it again, a 1 day ban.

Pming without permission(easy mistake for noobs to make), they should get a warning, then kicked if done again, then a 1 day ban if done again.

Normal swearing, as much as you like, as the site is 18+ rated.

Otherwise it's as PC as the fucking streets where it's become a police state now. If your caught swearing the police can do you for a breach of the peace.

Or alarm, harassment or distress if a member of the public objects to it.

It's got that crazy where the police can arrest you for simply swearing in public. 110% police state, we don't want the chatroom to be a PC place.

Baby talk and creepy talk, annoying yes, but then again it would be PC to not allow that on main chat.

I clicked other.. i find the amount of b*tching and moaning to be excessive.. it seems now in chat room, one cannot talk about wetting their diapers, cannot swear when talking about a frustrating situation, cannot ask a question about someones medical condition even if that person was talking about it openly in the room.. and if you say something that certain people 'dont' like.. it becomes a congressional matter...

I believe that spamming the chatroom with links or adverts should get the user kicked sure.. because that person is clearly not contributing....

repeatedly pm'ing the SAME user in the SAME visit to the chatroom certain deems a kick, and if the user reports the date and time of the incident perhaps a longer ban...

Trolling is a hard one... whats to say someone is trolling and doesn't just lack certain 'social graces' or 'online ettiquette'...

Basically, i feel there are certain members who have become too controlling of what is acceptable and what is not, simply because they spend all day every day in the chat room, and get upset when they arent the 'center' of attention, and as such made such a fuss about something, it seems to be a much bigger deal than it is, and so the mods kick the 'offender' believing this very vocal person is so horrifically harrassed...

if a person pm's you.. close the pm and state in the main room "sorry i don't talk in pms." if they pm you a second time , state their name in the chatroom and that you don't want to talk to them in private... after a third tiem, then a mod could boot them, but the incident should be logged and followed up on to ensure the pm's actually DID happen.

as for swearing, many people use swears colorfully in their language, others use it to express an emotion or experience. Ok fine i can consent that if a user is swearing at a person in an attempt to insult them, then after two warnings a kick may be called for... HOWEVER 1. the warning should not just be in the main chat room, but sent by PM to the user by the mod to ensure the user actually see's the message. There are times the chat scrolls so quickly a line of text can be missed.

Also, excessive reporting for minor incidences should get someone a 'time out' from the chatroom. Just because someone is constantly reporting people for 'offenses' does not mean that person in and of themselves is not creating a 'hostile' environment as they are essentially being allowed to 'rule the roost'...

Were it me I'd remove the pm option from the Chatroom. There is a PM function on everyone;s profile for private messages and being in a Chatroom implies that you're in a group, not communicating individually. It's simple enough to post for someone in there with you to check their messenger. That will remove most of the problems in the Chatroom right away.

Should the people here want to keep the PM function they need to understand that anyone can PM them, and they can ask the sender to not PM anymore. If that happens and the sender complies there is no problem. If the sender does not comply they should get a couple warn points and be kicked from Chat for a month.

Being an ABDL site, there must be some allowance for speaking about peeing and pooping onesself, though if other Chatroom users ask the poster to tone it down and they do not, the offender should be kicked for a week and get a warning. The same goes for excessive swearing and use of TXT-speak or excessive baby-talk.

As a Mod I've seen some users continually complain about things and I have to wonder if they even tried to address the problem themselves. It is easy to explain the rules nicely to someone who doesn't know them and you should do that before reporting someone. You should also understand that using Chat, like using these forums, opens the door for all others to respond to you so if you're more easily offended than the usual by something, it is as much your fault as anyone else's when you get offended. If you can't handle that then don't go there in the first place!

Repeat offenders should get five warn points and a year's ban from Chat. Third-time offenders should get a site-wide ban. Members here should understand that there are limits as to what we can do. There cannot be continuous monitoring of everything though a few more Mods here would be nice. Plus as evidenced by a certain user who I will not name, there is no easy way to keep someone off this site immediately if they know how to go about it. You have to let us work on banned users the way DailyDi wants to do it, for it is HIS website, not ours- we are just his guests and he sets the rules here.

We try to be kind and understanding in hopes that we can teach new members the way to happiness instead of just kicking them out. If someone is positively a Troll or Spammer we will act harshly and as quickly as we can; otherwise please give us a chance to educate them- there are several people here who have become great members because they were given a chance to improve, as well as a list of banned persons who did not take advantage of our giving them a second chance. There are also limits of what this website host's software so we can't do some things the way you or I might want to see them done. It needs to be remembered that a lot of how you will be responded to comes from how you present yourself and your thoughts- tyhe same message can be said a million ways and misunderstood a million ways too. Try to resolve problems nicely yourself and if that does no good then ask us to step in by reporting the offender. We do read and consider every report you send and without them this site would far worse off- we appreciate your help!

And a BIG HUG to repaid1 for starting this thread- you have a lot of insight my friend :)

Quite a bit of this is subjective. This could easily end up being dealt with with a heavy hand. Like some nanny state.

Might I suggest for staters some of the options in the poll are expanded upon with examples for people that are not sure what they mean.

An example is I am not totally sure what a Troll is online. I have asked ppl and looked it up and there seems to be a differ of opinion of its meaning.

I would like to disagree with Bettypooh on a single point. I do not want to see the option of a pm taken away. for some it is a chance to have a 'live' conversation about a concern or something they dont wish to bring up in the main chat, but do wish to talk to a friend about. It might be a berivment or some problem they wanted advice on, or simply to talk to a friend about a real life situation the friend has some knowledge of which the OP doesnt want all the chat room knowing.

The current situation does seem fine with some tweaks... which is why I believe this thread was started.

There was a problem with someone PMing girls as they came in the room, repeatidly dispite them asking him not to, this was resolved and I think all hurt parties were happy with the action taken by the mod. Does it really have to become more than that?

So for my two pee:

  • Cursing - I think most people that come on here are aware of swearing, however I personally only have a problem with the 4 letter word begining with C. However I dont think swearing AT someone should be tolerated. I have lost my rag with someone in the room and resorted to doing it and I am embarressed I did it.

  • Spamming - Yes I dont think spamming should be allowed, if someone posts a link relevent to what people are talking about its not a problem. But when you get someone posting non0stop random you tube links demanding everyone look, it gets bloody annoying.

  • PMing W/O permission - this is a difficult one, on the one hand you have people that are new and are not sure of the golden rule. they should have it explained to them. On the other hand you have the situation above. Currently I think the right action was taken. If someone is pm'ed without permission and didnt want it, they should say in the main room. then if the person does it a second time report them, and use the ability to ignore their PM's. This ability should have an explination somewhere as I have had to explain to several people how to do it.

  • Trolling - Might need to expand this a wee bit for idiots like me. But if i understand it right, this is another one that should not be put up with once it is understood a person is doing it. But again its subjective if the person is trolling sometimes.

  • Baby Talk in open Chat - I got no problems with this up to a point. its an adult baby/diaper lover chat room. However when someone constantly does it for hours and hours it can get a little frustrating. My suggestion, if at all possible, allow some sub rooms for multiple parties. An RP room, A adult baby room. A diaper lover room... etc... someone going into the adult baby room should expect to see some baby talk.

  • Other (expound) Cant think of much right now, except out and out racism, sexism or belittling someone for their religous/personal beliefs, and the most obvious one we see in the room... Bullying, because they take a dislike to them, or whatever... Some people are out and out bullies and if a few of their 'friends' are one it doesnt matter what you have to say, you will be shouted down and be subjected to all kinds of verbal abuse.

    Thats about it.

I am guessing from the posts i have read so far that if people would use a bit of common sense in dealing with others, posting certain unwanted topics repeatedly in a short period of time, sending pm's etc...that most of the problems would not happen. it is an AB chat hence babytalk gonna happen as well it is a room of supposed adults so deal with the occasional swearing. Take the time to get to know new people, why alienate them the second they pop into the room and say hello. All to often i see the label of troll and HNG slapped on those who are simply new, because well, it is easier than actually taking a few moments out of our obviously too busy day to find out if they are just here to meet people or unfortunately in too many cases here to simply get themselves off by talking about the fact they jus filled their diaper with a big stinky load with other people. I think the so called,"regulars", need to show a little more patience sometimes as well, though there needs to be some better, "kickable offense" guidlines put in place to deal with the utterly overwhelming number of absolute morons that seem to pop into the chat and just make it a miserable place to be in general...../shrug I prolly got more to say but am far to lazy to type it out.

I'm not sure if this can be implemented by the chatroom software, but when you first entered the DiaperSpace chatroom there was a block of red text that popped up immediately saying that PMing people without asked was against the rules. Not that it actually made people follow the rule, but that's beside the point.

listening to all the complaints people have. i sure hope some of these people never leave their houses.. I mean imagine having someone you don't know say something to you... imagine someone swearing in your vicinity... imagine having to tell someone hitting on you you are not interested...imagine overhearing someone saying to someone else "i have to go to the bathroom"..... dear lord.. DO NOT EVER LEAVE YOUR ROOMS!!!!

I mean if you can't handle anonymous people doing something you don't like in a chat room, then seriously.. don't go to stores, or restaurants, or ride any sort of public transportation, don't take classes, don't even drive with your window open.. for that matter don't watch tv or listen to the radio either...
