What happened????? As I was reading new, (since 11-15,) posts three to five of them disappeared, including one by Repaid. Any ideas?

I would imagine it came from the recent server issue. As I don't believe any admin or mod erased them on purpose. Still in the deciding phase for all those wanting a update.

I spoke with Repaid and he told me I should post to this. So I am going to put my name back in the hat for the mod thing. I know that I absolutely love coming on this site and that for the majority of the time I am in chat, while Alex 04 is unavailable, there is no mod that is able to manage it effectively. I feel that there should be someone in there during the times when Alex cant be. I have seen how things can get in there, and the number of under-agers as of recently has been atrocious. I am available at nighttime as I am usually on anyways. Although not liked by everyone, I am fair and impartial as far as any bias goes and would have no problem in judging appropriately should a problem arise. I just feel there needs to be a mod in there, and even if its not me, I'm hoping someone will earn that position quickly. Anyhow... I'm putting my name in the hat for the mod position if it is available.

I'm a former co-administrator of a furry community that has over 50,000 registered members. I left the site on very good terms and continue to maintain good rapport with members. I may be blunt sometimes and opinionated, but I can be calm, partial and very easy to work with. I'm more grown up now compared to when I assumed the pseudonym, "DirtyRocker." My reputation on [DD] has never been better (I have 100 likes!), and I would like to contribute to a site that's exceeded my expectations time and time again.

APparently, there was drama nto too much earlier today while Alex was unavailable and no mod was in there to handle it. I am putting my name in for a chat mod, if need be I can help with forums, but I am not on there half as much.

I'll throw my hat in there too. I'm in the chat enough, most people on there know me. As long as we all agree to the rules, there are no real worries about abuse of power. This way we could have more coverage for people who need help with those that refuse to follow the rules and PM without permission, minors in the chat room, trolls, etc. I'm sure lots of people in the room would vouch for me. Just thought i'd throw it out there.

well then the owner of this site better state clearly in writing all of the chat room rules.. because until recently there wasn't even a 'no pm'ing' rule.. just a general courtesy...


i have no problem with chat mods, just if there are going to be mods who enforce rules then these rules need to be clearly and succinctly written out so everyone knows the expectations.. not just vague generalities and hopes for 'good ettiquette..'

I am with sweet on this one there needs to be a few more mods. Even if they are all online they can converse about something going on and take the right actions to solve it the right way. With that being said I am going to throw my name back in for a mod...

i iam farly well liked in the room yet i stand for what is right .i am firm but far .haveing been a mod on comfrog in severl rooms i understand that this is not a game or to be abused .how ever should i not me picked i wish to nominate sweetbabyandi or warpiper also i would like to see alex have full modship being as she already has a nac for it .frether more i would like to say thinkyou for your consideration

Seems that commonsense and good judgement isn't needed to be a mod from some of the names being thrown around. I'd have thought they would have been the first qualities needed for a good mod.

Probably does need to be another chatroom mod though (Not that there is much trouble in chat unless people look for it). Most likely a west coast US type time zone to cover the hours that alex is snoring.

hahah i'm west coast time zone.. but i would be an awful moderator... I enjoy watching the drama llama... its funny to see people get so offended by someone who is clearly just looking to cause trouble... people who are obviously trying to mak trouble cannot be taken seriously, and really we should all see them as a change to let all of our frustrations out on... because they are laughing at us.. so lets laugh right back... take your frustrations out on the troll. you will be much more pleasnant in real life that way.

Well of course you would be a awful mod, you have no common sense. Just look at your evacuation route picture, it shows an arrow pointing to the right. Obviously the best way to go for floods and tsunami is up in a plane or helicoptor!!! THINK!!!!!!

drama happens, and will always happen, everywhere and anywhere. more mods yeah that would be nice, but, what would also be nice is just the ability to ignore specific users in the chat, and, people actually dealing with it themselves by just ignoring it and not adding to it. Now true this is a site for those that wear diaeprs both for fetish or medical needs, there are alot of adult babies here, but remember..... the word ADULT is in that name. Try acting like it.

Honestly I would vote the both of us. Andi does a good job weaseling out the minors and with the amount of people that PM her without asking, she's a natural magnet for would-be kick-ees.
I think I would make a good mod because I am always keeping an open ear out listening to people's issues and helping with advice and the like. It would not be a stretch for me to also help with keeping riff raff out that bothers the other users, are inflammatory or homophobic, or who simply can't follow the main rule of not PMing without permission in chat.
I think Andi and I would make good additions to helping to maintain order in the chat room.

There is no reason to kick someone out for being homophobic.. there is also no reason to kick someone out for saying they believe homosexuality is a sin. This is clearly showing a bias and prejudice against homophobic people. There are many members here who believe differently, and they are just as in the right to say their beliefs as others.

It is not ok to attack someone personally... to say "you john_doe are an asshole because of your beliefs" however to say "i do not agree with your beliefs and this is why" and then to quote the bible or a study, or something else is NOT a reason to kick someone out... even if you do not agree with their belief, otherwise than anyone who states a belief, or names their religion must be kicked.

again.. who decides what is 'riff raff'? who decides what is inflammatory? and i am not talking about the obvious extremes.. i am talking about somone who is kicked out because say, the feel all republicans are liars and everyone in the room at the moment happens to be a republican, or someone who is muslim states "i do not understand this who thing about jesus" and everyone in the room happens ot be christian... this has happened where this person is then ganged up on, and becomes defensive and then THEY are kicked out or reported, when they were the ones being goaded on...
