I bet it happens every single day somewhere around the world...

You know, if I came across something like that in my travels, I'd take the unused diapers from the trash for myself. If they were vintage diapers like the ones in those pictures, it would honestly save me the headache and money involved with attempting to purchase diapers like these on eBay. I'm still seriously looking for an unopened package of BLUE (and to a lesser extent, PINK) size 5 Huggies on eBay, and I'm sure I'm going to pay through the nose if I find them. If I knew someone was throwing away an unopened package of the diapers I was looking for in particular, I'd be happy to free up some space in their trash can for them.

so you got labeled as a garbage picker

You know, if it was for unused diapers/maxipads, I honestly wouldn't mind being labeled as a garabge picker--especially if the product was a vintage item.

haha good question, ive been wondering about that too recently.
But i guess they do qualify as "used" though not as "soiled"
So no, there not unused diapers.
I do like to wet diapers but don't always do so, sometimes i like just like to "pleasure" myself with the and then than they go in the trash pretty clean apart from some -sticky stuff- ,but still there used.

A bit wasteful throwing out diapers you actually didn't pee in. As I find making them very wet and saggy and especially gelly is what turns me on about wearing diapers much more than a dry diaper.

That's where I'm different and I don't actually cum in them, I get off in them by pointing my ....... out the side or above the waistband(mostly above the waistband).

Just wanted to share these pics that i found on flickr

I bet it happens every single day somewhere around the world...

Those pics of the vintage pampers and luvs in the garbage made me feel really sad,  the babies face on the Pampers pack seemed to be crying dont let me be crushed and destroyed. I sure would have rescued them!. I wonder if the garbage lady knows how much some people would have paid for those lovely vintage nappies. I wonder is she might be a DL and if she might have kept the nappies for herself, i dont understand how anyone could destroy a pack of vintage nappies.

A few years ago I was out looking for reptiles with a friend and in a lay by where we parked the car was a big pile of Pampers, and an empty Pampers pack, but I cant remember if they were used or not. I know I was really frustrtaed becuase i wanted to investigate those nappies but my freind was with me and I did not want to seem to interested in a pile of discarded nappies, even though he knows I'm a AB and i like wearing nappies, i dont think he would quite understand my fascination with those nappies laying by the road side.

On a slightly different note, earlier this year in January i spotted something odd whilst taking mummys dog for a walk, about 8 or 9 nappies on the road, looks like they had been there a while and had been run over several times because they were completely splattered! I dunno why but the sight of those splattered nappies got me quite excited and i went back a few nights later and took some photos of the nappy carnage!

I've been renovating the master bath and dressing room.   My wife went through menopause five years ago.   Finally ditching all the pads and tampons stuff in all sorts of places in that area.

The only time I can think of is when I was masturbating in one. It technically got used, but not for it's intended purpose. I couldn't use it for it's real purpose because I didn't know how long I had until my roommate got back. So it was sort of wasted.

Day cares are a place to find unused diapers. They have a policy to change a child every two hours and if they are still dry, they still change them. I am not encouraging anyone to actually walk in one and look in the trash. I am just saying that is where you would find them if you were at one for some reason. I was at my son's playgroup and I did witness a two year old get her diaper change and her diaper looked unused because it was unused and they threw it away.

I was going for a walk one day and I see a bunch of adult pull ups lying all over the street and sidewalk next to a empty shopping cart. it looked like someone had went to Walgreens and bought some stuff and left a few things and the pull ups. I took them home with me and they were unused and still folded.

Titanic is a good diaper movie, lots of flooding.

The only time I've ever thrown out an unused diapers is when the plastic had ripped and obviously would not hold pee if it were to get wet. Other than that my parents used to throw out my hard eared diapers when I was a kid (which was a very big waste).

Be careful you might just get what you wish for... and find you like it.

A couple of years ago I was visiting my mom at her apartment and took her trash to the trash chute around the corner from her apartment.  As I was dumping my mom's trash I noticed a bag of adult diapers on the floor near the chute.  I stopped on my way out and picked them up...  I don't even remember what kind they were...

I wouldn't really consider those unused. They might not be wet/messy but they were still worn/used for two hours.

You probably couldn't get away with this now, but when I was in preschool one kid's Mom used to take a clean plastic bag into the bathrooms of her other kids daycare center and pull all of the clean worn diapers out of the trash. Her attitude was that a diaper wasn't used until it was peed or pooped in, and she had no problem with pulling the diapers she considered clean from the trash and using them on her own children at home. I only remember this because she tried the same thing at the preschool for about a month and always came up empty handed. The other mothers used to congregate in the hallway at the end of the day when they picked up their kids, and one finally asked her what she was doing so she told them. The other mothers then reminded her that everyone in the preschool had to be potty trained, and she stopped looking for diapers in the preschool after that. She had a bunch of kids and really hated the idea of wasting what she considered perfectly good diapers.

Do you still have the pads or have they already been disposed ?

I live in an apartment and have never seen any diapers in the trash, just alot of used ones. My apartment complex is about 90% senior citizens, so there's quite a lot of diaper use. Why would anyone want to throw them out anyway? What a waste. When I'm going through my "purge" phase, I'll just save them. I know I'll eventually give in and start using again. Why waste the money?

I threw them all away once, that is really it. I've seen them in trash before, however I couldn't tell you if they were used or not my eyes must not be a sharp as all of yours.

Yes, a while back, a friend's elderly parent passed away and left about 20 CASES (not individual packages, BIG BOXES full of about 10 packages each) of them.  Apparently his benefits paid for them and he ordered way more than he needed.  Some were donated to a local nursing home but others were thrown away.  I wanted to say "Let me have these and I can sell them for you" then offer them at a huge discount to other ABDL friends--but he would have never understood, also, I'd have had to put them somewhere and my kids would have wanted to know "why are all those diapers in here?"  Alas.

But that's something for the rest of you to consider--if you're friends with any old people who pass away, there likely are going to be some left-over diapers.  Put on your thinking caps...

When my mom  was at home in her final months, I saw a package of the three tape Depends.  Eventually, they switched to the pull up style.  I never said anything about the leftovers.  though I suspect my dad knew I would take them, I wanted to look like I had grown out of that problem.  They had to of known as one time, they said don't use these for pads because of the staples (it was paper vacuum bags).  heh, ya, I all ready have something more suitable.
