I have been noticing a lot of 'little' things lately in my various travels. Thursday, I went to an 'open mic' in west Hollywood, where a friend, was holding poetry readings and what ever, and one guy went up to do a couple of songs he wrote,, and hanging off the end of his guitar was a pacifier! I kept looking at it to see if it was what I thought it was, and not be obvious, but it was a pasi, clear, and tied to one of the whatcha-ma-callits at the hea dof the instrument.
Ok, that was odd...maybe he was also a raver..*shrug*

Anyways, that was Thursday night. Tonight I get back to the store from a delivery and as I walk in there is a group of young(collage age ish) people in the lobby talking about what to order. One of them is a guy with what looked like mickey mouse ears on his head, the others were dressed more ...'normally' and when he turned to walk to the dining room, he had a small )12 inch ish) racoon tail pinned to his right rear pocket....was he a fur??? I didn't ask, but again, had to check more then once to make sure what I was seeing...
Anyways, they ate and left, and we cleaned up.
Then I was sitting there watching "dirty jobs" and our beloved Mike Rowe is 40 stories up on a building in Hawaii, getting ready to do a window washing job..fun. He does all the narrating, and one of his comments was " I'm about to climb over the edge of a railing onto a small seat suspended 340 feet up, and its the same week I quit wearing adult diapers"

:roflmao:

I think there was another instance, but can't remember it *shrug* sorry

I'm taking all this in and wondering why these things even present thems
selves to me, but I was thinking of all the people here and wanted to share. It's not a bad thing to just be who you are and do your thing, no one really cares, except another AB/Dl type, and we aren't about to 'out you".

I just thought I would post this little tid bit, don't know why.. I just though that it was odd to have 3 occurrences in such a short time. Who knows what will happen in the next couple of days.. :P

Yeah when Mike Rowe said that "I picked a bad week to stop wearing adult diapers!" it was pretty funny. At the end of that episode they presnted him (awarded him more like) with an adult pullup. He sure didn't care that much for diapers during the "diaper cleaner" episode though.

Peace,
Vic :P

I'm seeing more and more people using pacifiers as accessories lately. It's probably the raver connection, but it still amuses me.

And don't forget the one where he helps the divers retrieve a truck from a frozen lake. In that one they admit to using Depends if they have to go to the bathroom, to which Mike says: "I wish you'd told me that before I suited up! I'd totally wear a diaper after drinking all that coffee to stay warm all day!"
Normality is overrated...

Sounds to me you are having what I like to refer too as "23 symptom" Cause after I saw that movie, I started finding 23 EVERYWHERE! so if you keep your eyes open, you will see what you want to see (or hear, or whatever).

But still. I would go to that guitar player and tell him the paci is cute.

P.S. Raccoon boy was a furry, trust me on that one.
Love on

I figured he was, I just have never seen one before. Its not everyday around here that I see that kind of thing. Micky mouse ears and a 'coon tail...odd aminal :P

I don't think theres any 'symptom', snce I wasn't 'looking' for anything. It was just there, and kept popping up, it was just ....odd.
Oh well, nothing like it has happened in the last couple of days since...But it was just weird, since the pacifier incident was in one city and then the fur shows up in the place I work, which is quite a ways away from the first...then theres TV...oh well.

Just another wacky day here on the Wet coast :P

Don't forget the episode where Mike Rowe went to a diaper service and had to sort the poopy diapers including adult ones, then wash them too. At the end of the show he said that they use diapers all the time and then went on to explain it was on their cameras to help protect them from dirt and dust. Then at the end of the episode, the crew was standing outside the shop wearing nothing but adult diapers! I would have to say that it's possible Mike Rowe may have worn a diaper or 2 just for fun once in a while.

I think the whole AB/DL community is growing so fast that we are going to hear much more, and see much more as time goes by. I saw my first "I'm Diapered" bumper sticker this week. I'm thinking of a tasteful way to put that in a cartoon figure for the back window of my Jeep. I shall waddle on now.

You ever notice when you buy a certain vehicle, all of a sudden it seems like everyone else bought the same one you did too? It's like, geez, didn't realize there were so many of these on the road. Like someone else said about the 23 syndrome. Maybe your just more alert about it lately and looking. I've gone through those phases and sometimes I stop and realize I'm grasping at straws, twisting everything to make it a possible ab/dl situation. Oh well, it's kind of a thrill to think it, even if it's not.

I had a weird moment today at work. We were closed to the public however we had training so one of my managers was stuck with her baby today. I was helping her take the baby to the car during our lunch break and I was carrying some baby toy thingy and a co-worker shouted at me to "leave my toys at home." I had to bite my lip so fast as I almost fell over laughing.

If they only knew about our secret little world.

Come ooooonnnnn! You didn't snap back and say "I did leave my toys at home but wanted to check out what the competition had". Bock, bock!! Just kidding. I personally love when situations arise like diaper talk because then I joke about and they think I'm kiddding but there's half truths to what I'm saying and I just get a kick out of it. :P

I wanted to say something however I figured the less said the better. I don't need any more stress at work. I was smiling the hole day though.
